Teda is through the group stage of CL and is also heading to the next round of cup.
Bought several players after the defeat by the league leader yesterday, let us reformat and come back in the second half of this season! Go Teda!
Palace Terriers report...
Terriers are first to complete their matches today, so a brief resume of the past three days:
Two matches a day are putting a strain on the squad, so a lot of rotation and in-game tactical substitution has reduced the outlay of blue and green packs.
Monday was a case in point, with a mere 3½ hours between the Champions League Group match and the day's League outing. Away at their closest rivals for the Group lead, Terriers pressed the 'annihilate' button and won 6-1, to confirm their qualification from the Group and 1st place in the Group. Goal scorers were Jones, Moran, Sinegal, Hall and two from van der Plas. The League match was a 4-0 stroll at home, right-back Roemgens scoring a hat-trick of free-kicks, and van der Plas adding the fourth.
Tuesday saw an early 2nd Leg Cup match at home, and a 3-3 draw (6-4 on aggregate) gave progression to the next round. Masegela, Perez and Gorrono were the on-target players. The late League away trip was a bit closer and more eventful, a 2-1 win continuing the climb up the table, but the loss of Kadlec for the next match after a booking and Moran for 6 days after an ACL tear injury has hit the team hard. Van der Plas kept up his recent scoring record by equalising the home teams opener, and defensive left-winger Schmitt added the second. Striker Nicky Jones became the latest addition to the Terriers '50 Club' in the Cup match:
Today saw another two closely scheduled matches, a Champions League away trip and win 4-0, Roemgens, van der Plas (2) and Masegela scoring, followed 3¼ hours later by a home League game to inaugurate the new seating addition to the stadium. The visitors were defeated 3-0, striker Jones scoring two and Doda netting a penalty.

Two games today, two wins.
The Champions League game was a bit messy, though, against the toughest opponent in the group stage. New signing Franken picked up two yellow cards, sent off because of his lack of discipline. No worries, though. I set my team orders to "defensive" just after the red card. ML Kalju Saar kicked butt, scoring a brace, including a first goal that seemed pretty spectacular from 30 meters out on the left wing, inside the far post.
After 5 matchdays, the boys are almost sure to finish on top of the group, unless they lose by a big margin for a bad goal differential.
Things were easier in the league. The team won 3:1 against the fourth-placed team. Forsberg had yet another strong game. I kept Franken in the lineup to see if he would improve his anger management skills and he scored his first goal in a Red shirt.
It remains tight at the top, though. A one-goal difference between teams that won all their matches. A good reminder that having the best defence is important

Just sold a 22Q 25 year old left footed dribbler MC for 35% over his value. Lvl 1s be hungry, had 3 bidders all the way to round 8 lol. Enjoy my tribute Lord Nordeus. I was only selling him to make room for free agent flips too.
Palace Casuals report:
Monday: First win in the Champions League this season, a 5-0 away win breaking the 3 draw sequence. Kamal, Dinamarca, a brace from Petrovski, and Shaqiri score the goals that keep the Casuals within sight of the top two in the table. The evening League match sees the first League defeat of the season, Cashman opening the scoring, but the opposition replying with 4 goals for a 1-4 defeat.
Tuesday: One defeat follows another, despite having the lion's share of possession and chances, an 88th minute goal for the visitors means a 0-1 home defeat for the Casuals.
Wednesday: Next round of Champions League matches, and a mammoth win over second place means Casuals take over top spot after the previous first place team were also defeated. Playing at home against a team with near-4Q advantage, De Wree and Shaqiri put the Casuals ahead after an early opener by the visitors, who also put an equaliser of their own in the net just before half-time. The second-half was evenly-matched until 15 minutes from the end, when Zhelev was injured in a tackle, and Dinamarca took the opportunity to bend the resulting free-kick around the wall and into the net to make the score 3-2. Despite a final ten minutes of intense pressure, the home defence held firm and Casuals register a fabulous win. Back to the more mundane business of the League, and a 2nd minute strike by left-back Kaminski was enough for a 1-0 away win in a hard-fought match.

Desert Rats FC report...
Monday: Home game against the other Real Madrid team in the League, 3-2 win, Ivory scoring at each end of the game, and Mathias scoring an equaliser mid-way through the second-half.
Tuesday: Weakened team completes 6-1 aggregate win to progress to next round of the Cup. After going behind mid-way through the first-half, Pelissier, Martin and Taylor score to register a 3-1 home 2nd Leg win. Top-of-the-table battle in the League, away visit to second, Desert Rats take 2-0 lead in the first half-hour. Injuries to Hammes and Woolley upset the balance and the home side were level by the hour mark. Final score 2-2, and Desert Rats hold on the top spot looking shaky as sides from 3rd downwards catch up.
Wednesday: Come-uppance time, as a second away match against a top-four team results in a 2-3 score, and Desert Rats first League defeat of the season pushes them down to 3rd. Ivory put the visitors ahead, and after an equaliser, Pelissier puts the Rats ahead again. A second equaliser before the break makes the second-half more interesting. Despite a couple of substitutions by the Rats Management to try and shake up the game, the home side go into the lead for the first time in the 73rd minute and hold this to the end.

Wow this season has really been difficult, finding it hard to find a defender that performs well on a regular basis... Anyway, got 2 4-3 wins, very tight indeed. Yesterday got a clean 3-0 win.
Beginning of the season wasnt around for the 1st 3 games and lost all. FIGHTING BACK!!
