Random, that simple, this season I do not have CL LOL so I can not read what the rules say, but in this case is suposed that the game select 1 team to be 2nd and one to be 3rd, I don't know now if rule say alleatory or with a match simulation (not played) to decide who's 2nd.

I have the same type of scenario, my goal difference is superior to the team in second. He beat me 4-3 (away) and I beat him 4-0 at home. I have logged a support call with Nordeus over this one.
