Got home cup match tonight. Seems most of the team stronger than me (q26.8). My opponent has q29.7 with classic 4-4-2. I plan to encounter with 4-5-1V, mentality normal with hard tackling. Good luck my team!

Bakuretsu Storm 0 - 4 New Team
We abso-fkin-lutely did it this time! New Team pulls out a perfect game against the 1st on board and eternal rival Bakurtsu storm, not only turning the bad luck away, but even imposing its play and piercing 4 times a defense that, untill now, had taken 0 goals in league and one among CL and CUP.
Coach MAd took all the day to prepare for this match. Knowing his friend/rival tactics, it was a war for the surprise! Bakuretsu Storm opted for a 3-5-2 V instead of the usual 5-4-1 V, while coach Mad as wel changed from 4-1-2-1-2 to 3-1-2-2-2. Furtherly, NT's boss risked out and pulled off a man-to-man mark to guard against the 2 AMs and the 2 STs, young and dangerous.
The first half stalls at midfield, with neither the two teams able to get through, with just a couple of sporadic shoots coming form both ways which don't really pose a threat. It seems like everything will be decided in the second half when suddenly the forward duo of NT pulls out the magic: Lenders receives from Becker, turns around and serves/shoots towards Oliver Hutton. New Team's captain elegantly avoids the tower defender Sevr, and draws a perfect curve ball under the bar, it's 0-1! (43').
In the second half, Bakuretsu Storm's coach gets out one of his defenders for a 3rd AM, getting into the central position. Waiting for the move to come, COach Mad switches rapidly to the beloved 4-1-2-1-2 Setup, asking the genius regista Julian Ross to cover more the defensive line. Bakuretsu has no time to try at it at all. Forced to commit a foul on Diamond, the defensive head and free kick specialist Callaghan doesn't miss the chanche: his ball goes around the barrier and beats the unguilty keeper for the 0-2 (51').
Bakuretsu feels the punch and takes a while to reorganize. After a double sub, keeping the same module, New Team seems to be holding the game anyways. And the golden trio shines again when Oliver Hutton exchanges with Tom Becker, which pinpoints an awesome one touch passage to Lenders. The shoot is so powerful the keeper doesn't even move, it's 0-3! (64').
At this point, the opponents became much more aggressive and coach mad set orders to defend and act on counters. On the very first ball taken back, a long feed reaches Hutton who flies for over 50 meters avoiding all the defenders, just to easily surpass the keeper to for the final 0-4 (73'). The rest of the match is pretty much give-take. The first match ends with New Team trashing their opponent and putting a SERIOUS comeback on the league's title.
Statistics:
Scorers: Hutton (A:Lenders), Callaghan (FK), Becker (A:Lenders), Hutton.
MoM: Oliver Hutton - 9 - New Team.
-WIth the large victory, New Team reaches Bakuretsu Storm on the first place, and due to a total gain of +8 goal difference between them, surpass them by one goal difference! A thrilling League!

Cup, 1st leg - Perfect Tactics (L5, 46.7) 1-1 FC alemanu (L8, 47.1)
Goals: Pisha (24'), Mata (63')
MOTM: Saa
Not a lot to discuss but we should have won when Mata was put through right at the end but his shot went over.
Our first draw in over 2 seasons and we have to do something special if we want to progress to the next round. Still unbeaten at home since level 2
This it the top of the table clash for July Fourth, away at ALDEAS... Hopefully we can get the job done in spain and start to put a bit of daylight between ourselves and the rest of the league table, Funnily enough, my opponent has left a suspended player in the starting XI and that will get replaced by a player that will play OOP. Think we will get a lot of possession here if this is the case.
They have an inform and league top scorer Mayer Saavedra on their team who is a 6* player the only 6* player they have. rest is 5* and benched players are 4*.
ALDEAS FC 0-3 July Fourth League Round 10
ALDEAS FC 95.1 4-1-4-1 - July Fourth 103.6 3N-4-1-2
This is the game that would decide how hard I would have to work this season to ensure that I would win the league, we started 2 points ahead of ALDEAS who had started the season well, A win for ALDEAS would put them back infront of the league by 1 point, a draw would keep things as they are at 2 points for July Fourth also a win a for July Fourth would see us move 4 points clear at the top of the table as Maxim FC are almost certainly going to beat struggling Les Bleus near the bottom of the table and ALDEAS would be 5 points behind July Fourth along with Colin FC. So an important '6 pointer' indeed this was for us.
ALDEAS started the game the stronger of the 2 with McWilliam being their best player of the game always getting into space and beating our midfield and creating chances, But once we survived the early the attacks we hit them on the counter with Papaleo using skill and speed to get by the ALDEAS defence and put us infront, after that ALDEAS were most likely to score through the first half, with McWilliam again being the performing player and Saavedra missing a chance and also a ALDEAS corner with Oulouphi arriving onto the cross in and Seaman somehow kept it out and this was important for us as we have thrown 2 games this season having lead 1-0 at HT. There was a few chances that Norris created at the end of the first half for July Fourth but they came to nothing, Second half begun with Papaleo hoping to put the game beyond doubt for July Fourth, one shot was blocked and another shot went wide, Tchoumi's shot from disance was blocked, then the decisive moment came in the game with a long range drive from around 25-30 yards from Miku found the back of the net after a powerful strike to put us 2-0 infront, 9 minutes later and Michu was the player that made a run with the ball and was able to take it round the keeper to make it 3-0 and game over at this point, There was 2 more chances for ALDEAS at the end, firstly by Oulouphi but was tackled by Papaleo strangely enough... then McWilliam got a shot on target but blocked by Novotny after he headered it out the way.
Goals: Papaleo (11) Miku (60) Michu (69) MOTM: Novotny - but MOTM for me was McWilliam
Forgot to mention that my youth players turned up from the scrap yard this morning.
The token one was pointless 3*88 DC for 12T, not worth buying him to train up to 6* and for him to lose a star again in 2 weeks, no guarantee of him being the fastest of trainers being a 12T youth. The free one is actually a good one for a free youth player, 2*83 and he happens to actually be a fast trainer... lol but again not worth power training. obviously the 2* youth player is retained by the club due to our current policy over the new cup format.
Hey July. Can you remember which day it is that we only have a league game, but no cup/CL? I think its around day 21 or something.
Lost in the cup 0-3 against a illegal formation. Probably because he's 3 levels higher than me and then they say lvl difference makes no difference in the game calculation hahahah bull**** Nordeus can suck my Dingeling
we are having probs with game engine
i wish one of that asshole DEVs was living right over here so i could punch him till i get satisfied

Yeah, it really sucks to loose against such an illegal formation. :(
In my last seasons league there was a player, who also collected points despite playing illegal formations. The trick of these people is to bunker themselves in front of their goal, activating "counter attacks" and choosing "long balls".
Nordeus can defend themselves with quoting Almeria - Barca some seasons ago, where Almeria parked the bus and treated Barca with their counters (they also only had 3 men in the opponents half), but 0-3 is simple harsh. Nordeus should consider to fix it.
Dumb retarded nordeus wrote back saying Barca lost against celtic too. I told him that this **** isn't real life football and **** himself and left. Always the same dumb excuses fgt nordeus
Heres an interesting thought? Is there such a thing in real life football as an illegal formation?

LEAGUE: ROUND 9 & 10 + CL ROUND 5
http://i45.tinypic.com/1j5imd.jpg
Today and yesterday we were playing 3 games: 2 league and 1 CL game and won all of them (like planned):p. In the first two games (yesterday) we tested the 4-5-1 V (motiveted) formation (as explained in "How to Win Against Any Formation?" by A. Gamal) and it worked perfectly! In the third game (today) we used the 4-4-2 formation (classic), mostly because to give every player some playtime and keep up with the "team rotation". Also, our new signings: Petar Georgiev, Branislav Ivanović and Mario Mandžukić made-a-huge-impression-on-me. Georgiev scored twice and assisted 5 times as well. He was rewarded as the man-of-the-match (grade 9) in our win against FC JerseyShore. The defender Branislav Ivanović and the striker Mario Mandžukić made a huge effort in our CL - game against the Polish team, "FC Andromeda" and M. Mandžukić scored as well in the latest league game against "Hantam FC". Overall, I´m pretty pleased and delighted with my team and the great work and effort they have done and showed me so far. Our goal for this season is as I mentioned earlier to win our 3rd league trophy and hopefully win our first CL trophy ;)
Tomorrow we are facing the Kazakh team "FC BOLA" in the Champions league and the Thai team "Man U FC" in the league game and we are aiming for 6 points.
Over & out! ;)
7-0 in league today :) against 2nd.
Mmh, really illegal would mean fielding 2 keepers or something like this or having not enough players on the pitch (the match is counter with 0-3 then, discussion in another thread). But a formation that leads to a loss of possesion? I can only think of some cases, but there it depends on how the other team plays.
1. If you leave a part of the team uncovered the opponent can concentrate his game play there and thus deserves a possession bonus.
2. If you park the bus against a team that really plays for possesion, then it is a special case of 1 (in terms of possesion). But due to the compact defense creating chances is not easy, standard situations decide these matches quite often.
3. If you put a field player not at his usual position it depends on how the player fits into the other position. Normally not well if the position is very difficult from his original one, but some players are multi-talents. I remembered Michael Tarnat doing quite well as a goalie for Bayern Munich in the late 90s when Kahn and the substitute keeper both got injured.
So the thoughts behind Nordeus possession system make sense to me and I can also see some comparisons to RL.
But it remains hard that if one choose evil tactics (descirbed above) can trick the system and still grabs wins.
Short question: Was the 3-0 special for him or does he collect points on a regular basis with illegal formations?
2 more days I think till my contest will be done, I will need to preper a new one...
