I think your chances depends on your server.

I play 3 acc. 1 only tokens from surveys but won everything. 1 no tokens win league and CL seems easy finished runners up, cup last year was hard, don't know about this year. The acc spent most tokens on win some, finish a lot in 2nd. so you don't have to buy tokens to play but I don't find it as fun. Weapon race is fun but frustrating.
