As 4-5-1 V style beats 4-5-1 flat, 3-5-2 V style beats 3-5-2 flat. Specifically 3W-3N-2W-2. Reds on Dr/Dl only. Red on DMC too if you use it + 2mc, this if he has 3N defense. If he plays 3 wide behind you can sacrifice a ST for a AMC and play with 3 ams, mixed.

Alternatively you can go for 5-3N-1-1 with reds on Dr/Dl, and on the Amc. Defensive, own pitch, counter, long pass and through the middle if he has 3W behind. 5-4w-1 with reds on DL/DR/MR/ML and through flanks if he has 3W behind

I faced it lots on my alt account using 4-5-1 V and i never had a problem. Problem poses if you further motivate your AML/AMR making them act as almost lateral STs, or when you don't motivate your DL/DR s . That way you create a huge gape between DL and AML and DR and AMR and that's exactly where the motivated MR/ML play the ball. But having full pitch pressing with red arrows on defense and none (or blue) on AMs prevents that.
