I just see an option that I can sell my player to an agent. What is this feature? Why should I sell my player to an agent with a low price instead of selling him on an auction with higher price?

If you can not sell a player this is a very good option. Since time ago managers complained when they reached higher levels and the market was not so active to sell players, so, after many time asking for a solution, this feature was added.
If you have no problems to sell your players then you have the normal market
It's a brilliant option.
Means you can now clear out your team at the end of each season keeping maybe 5 'scout' players and 5 or 6 Academy 1* and 2* and still have cash to refill at the start of next season with 5* players a nice low level Cup and league opponent draw.
Did it last season and for the first time in 30 seasons I've got a cup draw with teams my level!!!!!
This option is good that it makes transfer more active and help solving financial problems of some clubs. But it is one of the changes that reduce difficulty of this game. Another example is cancelling the wait time for next training session.
I never had a problem of selling player. But thanks for the replies, I may have problem at higher levels. It is nice to know...
