Finally a good negotiation offer..

What frustrates me is the amount of offers you get from teams on the same level as you for your players.

If the player is the same level as you then they can see that the player that is one cone off 6 stars for them is ALSO one cone off 6 stars for you.

To then offer 0 Tokens, or 1 Token for that player, knowing that it would cost you at least 1 token to bring in a replacement player who would have to be a worse quality (Or at best the same, being 1 cone off 6 if one came on the market), or cost you 40+ more in a scout etc.. is down right insulting.

When I look for players on the Negs list I always look at the level of the person who holds the player and also the quality of their team. If I saw a player on the Negs list that is 21 or under (Those are the only ones I am interested in) and that player belongs to a team that is the SAME level as me I NEVER put a bid in, unless that team has every other player 6/7/8 stars - as that player is important to that users team if its only one cone off being scout. I would not sell a player like that in my team for a couple of tokens, so I wouldn't expect anyone else to sell me one.

Should I find a player 21 or under on the list and he belongs to a team a level /2 levels or more above me and my opponent has better in his starting eleven then I put the bid in as its worth while for both me and him. I often get those players for minimal token outlay, plus sell my players the same way to others.

I've had 8 bids today on two players who are 1 cone off 6 star from players on the same level as me and not a single one of them has actually offered me any extra tokens - just cash. Why on earth would I sell a player like that, when a replacement would cost me more? Use your bloody brain people! Even 2 or 3 tokens given to me for this sort of player is simply not worth it. I will only sell if the player is not important, or a first teamer, so that means they need to be approaching being 4 star or 5 star, but being one off a scout for teams a level or two BELOW me.

I find it really rude to get continual bids for players that are down right insulting. I had one idiot a few seasons ago who battled me for 3 players on the auction, all who were 1 cone away from being scout players, where it went to rounds 8/9/10 each time. I won all three players and within minutes of winning the auctions he had put negs offers in for them offering me cash but no tokens for them! Why on earth would I spend 10 tokens on winning the player on auction, just to then sell him to you moments later for game cash? Idiots.

Any decent offer for a lower player I will accept or negotiate with. Any offer I get for a player from a manager at a same level as me gets their offer ignored and sees their tokens tied up for 24 hours for stupidity.

I also do not place an offer for a player on neg. before I determine if there is a chance that manager will sell the player I want.
this morning I bought player from neg. because I saw that manager has players 6/7/8 stars and only one 5 star player, gave 2 tokens for him and few hours later he agreed.

i got a non token youth GK through and within 10 minutes of signing him i received a 20 token offer, i have to admit i had to log out and log back in 3 times just to be sure it was not a bug as i could not believe what i was seeing

yep these teams that bid no tokens are a joke, i spend time and effort to train and improve for them to bid and they come in with this rubbish

I've bought many players on TM whose Q was near scout for few T while initial bid for such player costs around 10T+
I'd maybe pay ~10T or more for player who is able to play 3 positions. Yesterday I've bought DML-DMC-DMR playmaker 5* (for 1T) and AML-AMC-AMR shadow striker (for 2T). 3T together
No wonder that almost no one bids tokens in negotiations.

That's the point, there. These are unwanted and senseless bids from managers who don't/can't appreciate the outlay that we would have to make to replace the players they are making these derisory offers on. If we needed to sell the players then they would be on auction in the TM, not holding out for any tokens we might [not] get from negotiation...

If I have a player that is eligible for the Nego list and I get an offer on him, I might sell - depending on whether I can afford to release the player, the offer, and whether there's any ready replacements in the TM. A couple of times I've been able to buy a replacement in the TM (so I know how much I've spent), and then evaluate the offer and either accept, or set a selling price, turning the decision back to the prospective buyer.

It's about the only thing I'm pro a messaging system for - oh for the ability to send them a message saying 'are you <censored> serious????'
