It's a Geometric progression:
1.13*(1.01)^n=7.59
1.01^n=6.716
ln to both flanks:
n*ln(1.01)=ln(6.716)
n=191.4 ==> 192

I havent touched math in ages...daily life requires simple math. what's ^n? and how did he get ln? I know what n is, but his way is strange to me.

^n is 'to the power of n'. ln is that logarithm thing, I used 'log' instead of 'ln' in high school.
