    Sorry El Pistolero, I did not mean to offend, but it is a misconception in England as well. It is one of my bugbears. Virtually everybody calls it the Union Jack when it is the Union flag, can you imagine the outrage in France if the Tricolore was called the Tricolore Jack

    no I thank you. You reminded me of a memory of my grandfather correcting me. It was so typical of him even though he worked on planes not ships haha

    Ha Ha Ha, believe it or not I am also a grandfather. I currently have 18 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren.
