Anyone know a good counter for 4-5-1 flat?

Had a few games this season against it, try mirror didn't work tried 3w-5-2v draw, didn't tried anything narrow, maybe ND or even a strong 4-4-2 will do too.

Phew! 2-1 home win to give me a slight edge. Only problem is I may not be able to attend 2nd leg due to the match time and an away goal could kill me.
My team didn't play very well, I almost took Elizondo off as he had a rating of 6.4 then he scored a screamer. I might try 4-5-1v against 4-5-1 flat in the second leg.

Well advice you not to play 3w as it doesn't work anymore, maybe 4-3-2-1 w , I never tried but it looks good

Had to play strikerless for the last 8 minutes, Kamyabinia was replaced by DC Pengilley (yellow triangle), playmaker Portillo injured... This draw is no lesser than a win

That's what the guide says but it sounds risky. I'll give it a try, I have more quality anyway.

Just now remembered I played 4-4-2 in the first leg of Cup semifinal, won 3-0. Whenever I have doubts I play 4-4-2. But that isn't really a counter.
You can field 3 DCs since he doesn't have any winger. Also I suggest to field 3 MC. So it turns out to be 3-3-2-2. I'm very afraid to ever field that, so another possibility can be 4-3-2-1. But then put red arrows on fullbacks since they don't have to mark anybody.
