even tho im using same tactic as my main team but still..
Just incase you tought you'r the only one with 5/6 stars team and constantlly losing to underdogs.. you arent

I take this thread as an answer to mine a couple of days ago. In real life, there is only one response to this kind of start of season (which looks really like mine): sacking the coach ! Is this really the only option ?

Haha.. could be Here's another game i played with my 2nd team today, lost 0:3 in CL.....rofl
with pretty strong team i got 7 wins 3 draws and 4 in this season.. /Disappointed

your plan is very weak againt 4-4-2 flat , so if you play against teams with flat midfields just change your plan .

Quick fix for you:

1. Remove all arrows on your defenders, AMLR pair and DMC.
2. Sort your team by quality, and assign the top 5 players as captain in that order.
3. Change team mentality to "attacking", mixed passing and zonal marking, the rest as default (no counter, no trap).
4. If your DMC gets bad rating after the new arrangement, put blue arrow on him.

Those orders work perfectlly on my main team but not on 2nd and 3rd. will update some results once i try out the new tactics.

Honestly, I dont think tactic change is the answer to the kind of start of season Beckstar and I are experiencing. My tactics destroyed all 4-4-2 you can think of that I faced in my first 10 seasons and now, impossible to win ! Moreover, I dont see why his tactic is weak. He's got 2 lateral AM with no one in front of them. Like me. And usually, they get the opponent keeper a sore back fishing the ball in the back of his net.

Never have done when I play against it - the counter-formations listed for 4-4-2 are 4-5-1V (defensive against higher Q) and 3N-4-1-2 (normal/attacking for lower Q opponents), or 3N-2-2-2-1 Butterfly (never found this one to work) - but then again, I'm starting to think that the counter-formations aren't all they're cracked up to be nowadays...

When I use 4-5-1V the only arrows I use are red on the AML/AMR.

I also think that there's something broken within the team itself that has caused the three-season slump that Palace Casuals are on. When you're in-game and you make any sort of player sub, positional change, formation change or tactic change and more often than not, nothing seems to happen on-field afterwards, then there must be something else wrong other than the players, formation, and tactics you are using, when they've been working perfectly previously.

well need is a strong word, it just collapses their defence and stretches the field vertically. Combined with a good CF with good positioning you will have no trouble pushing the ball up the centre. If they go man marking to counteract it, you just push up the field and press.
