In my case my players are well balanced!
I play with two tactics, the 4 5 1 V and 4 3 2 1 where use quite the AML, AMR and ST.
I've been playing with long passes and flanks. :cool:
Yes is true, last seasons AMR / AML are scoring more then usually. Is just part of the game, I guess is something you always have to be carefully for a season to another to find out what changed because these changes decides who are the best managers.
I was a big fan of 2 ST's, I always plaed like that or even 3 but never one until last seasons when I saw that is pointless to play with 2 ST's.
My advice for all managers AML + AMR + ST is the best you can have at the moment.
Why AML/AMR score more then ST's NOW? - That's how the games works at the moment.
Because something is wrong wit the STs lately.

I was thinking that something has to do with the live animation.
This was a bit earlier than STs disease but I can see many comments of friends who are watching live (I don't have it)
that when ST is infront of GK, he 's giving pass to another player or back.
So he lost his one to one ability.
As PGC saying, must play with AMR-AML-ST (or AMR-AML-AMC-ST).
Yes, the ST issue is very funny.
Sometimes when a ST (does not have to be my ST), who is just right faced to the goalie, he always, I meant he always passes the ball back to someone else behind ... What is the point?!

It is sth I'd call team chemistry. There is no better explanation, team just plays good and it is in form and as long as it wins, don't change anything LOL. :D
Attacking midfielders usually score more goals with shots from a far distance than the strikers.
In my experiences:
- Form 4-5-1V: AML/AMR have more goals than the lonely strikers
- Form 4-1-2-1-2 (narrow diamond): AMC has more goals than 1/2 strikers
- Of course, AMC/L/R had more assists than ST
In fact I always love the attacking midfielders, in game, and in real life too

Jokes aside, my top scorer is AML/ML Marcio Franco. Has 14 goals in 7 league games. He is shadow striker. Yes, that's why the AMs score more. All i think of is that they promoting recommadation player. Most if not all is striker although they come with duel role bt the main role is striker.
I dont go for striker anymore just used 3-4 star they do the same job as 6star. Train only my aml/r.
well... yes...my AMR/AML score more...but my ST right now (the 1st recommendation....(the 2nd one still horrible right now...)) score some ...and he does more assist ...and he hold the best assist in my team =.=....just not sure why...but he is too "teamwork".....i mean...one-on-one facing the GK....he passes the ball.....some time....he pass to the one who will score(usually winger or AMC)....sometime...the ball is sent back to middle field which look like he is defensing more than attacking in opposite's box =.=

So true. I'm thinking of which player I should give the free extra role for the League Top Scorer racing and my single position ST came to top of the list.
Besides that, I'm playing 4-5-1v style most of the time but still don't feel that I'm using the right tactic for this formation to shine in scoring like my 2 main opponents in League and Cup. They scored a lot with the same 4-5-1v.

Oh, if 451v didn't work for you, just give your ST; an AML/AMR/AMC. instead of using 451v use 460 since ST is under appreciate in this game.
STs recently started to work as they should. Some of them are assistant players while others are the scorers.

For example nor in liverpool nor in manchester city strikers werent those who scored a lot, wingers did the job and they both played mostly 4-3-3 (something like 4-5-1v here).
When you use formations without aml/amr, than your strikers(s) become scorers as it should be.
That's lower level hence you think ST is good but having an AML&AMR is way better in Top11, the most I can get from ST is 1goal per game but the AML&AMR will score 2goal per game in the same squad, oh ST also looks good against inferior teams in lower quality leagueQuote:

It takes years for Nodeus to finally make that headed score goal live animation frequently for ST to score from crosses.
Back then you can only do that in a friendly against 1% or 1* because for whatever reason the ST can't beat the DC in 1on1 aerial duels.
Oh, and if you want ST to score more, better to have ML&MR compared to AML&AMR in your squad.
Because ML&MR crosses & passes more while AML&AMR does Robben more, cuts in & shoot from long range and score, (hence why people like to put Shadow Striker ability on their AM)
If you have striker with 178 height and low heading probably you wont score those headers at all.
Ml/mr even dont have highlighted shooting/finishing abilities. So they like more traditional wide midfielders like Becham was who run down the line and cross.
You do know that the height is cosmetic in this game right? I've seen short GK & DF perform well over the taller one. Not just slightly. But by a lot!Quote:

Height and weight are cosmetic, we had a "ask the devs" years ago and they confirmed it. The only thing you do when you train a SA is unlock the animation and add a hidden +20% to some attributes, and the aerial SA is specifically to defend corners, and wall is to defend FKs. All is about hidden lists, that the game uses to create the matches, and dominance power and contributive power assigned to each player, so once you unlock a SA the list of priority in animations basically changes of there is enough power assigned to a player, giving priority to a player or another for attack or defense actions. Remember that that's a game.Quote:
