SA has nothing but visual effect?

So I have played this game for a couple of seasons now, I have always liked the concept of Special Abilities, but have had trouble seeing any significant effect of it/them.

this season I have made a crude test of the. three players ML/AML AMC and MR/AMR. they have all played the same games, had same respective role and here is the result.







so in my honest opinion, although painful, there is No effect of Shadow Strike

well... i think some SA is good...in my case.... free-kick SA was my top score in my last 2 season (AMR),
my DC 2 season ago...he is still my to assists in my history.... because he has corner SA....
and header, wall SA i think they are the reason why this season i only have 2 conceded in league~

Agree totally dnt really have much or effect at all. I have 2 corner specialist nt working so i assign 1 of my player with the highest rate in crossing to do it. My freekick specialist is the 1 that have highest rating in shooting and finishing.
I dont really fancy SA😃

This is another un-answered question of T11.
I 'm thinking some scenarios like
- sa gives a +1% - +5% to a player, so his talent (or not) & form is much more important..
- sa comes as an action that happening once in a while (don't know exactly but rather rare), during the match

* but it's cool and you can sell easily your players

Take a 5* CK specialist and a 6* no SA guy with the same position (say both MCs, which shouldn't be a problem) to take the corners from each end. (Impossible for me at Level 6 to have a 54Q MC, my best MC is 47)

same condition, same moral, same opponents, same roles, same matches, same quality, same tactics, same matchtime .
so high reliability of the test

If SA should work, there should be a significant different in this test IMO

They are different positions, different ages, 2 of them are right footed and one is left footed, their previous form was different going into the matches, were you using long passing, short or mixed, like i said, inconclusive based on this test alone.

I had a DL with FK, who was one of the leading scorers.

My goalie with "PK stopper" stopped a PK today.

I want to believe SAs are real.
