You'll probably need only 4-5 of them, the first 2 must-haves — FK specialist, CK specialist, Defensive wall, Aerial Defender, Shadow Striker. Yea you're success rate isn't 100%, but they do work. I don't think that they're just visual.

A good defence is the best offense.
it's something more but can't figure out.Mythbusters, Nik?
But you can't judge from only one negative example as Gert post or a positive example like ponzu said.

The SA abilities absolutely light up in live game. When an opposing side does not score on a FK, the "Wall" will often light up (if one of your D has it, of course). And the other way around: when your guy with FK scores, it lights up. I think I have seen "aerial defender" light up, can't speak for the rest.
I like to imagine an SA gives a significant % boost to a skill. I rationalized this way (and it's not based on any reading or testing, just my fancy). If it takes roughly as many skill points to earn an SA as it takes to upgrade by 3 Q points, it should give a roughly 3 point gain to the skill, to which it's tied. What do guy think of that?
Of course, at high numeric Q values (mine are in the 50s, yours could be in the 100s) it all becomes relative.

You 're right about the live but those abilities are also in players that don't have the sa.
For some of them, you can read in comments.
"Your DC" aerial defending (or defensive wall), throw the ball away (or something like this).
But we can't figure out the difference between a player who has a talent (internal programming) in a sa,
a player who has sa by "nature" (scout or nordgen) and a player which we give the sa.

For the visual part. On penaties my keepers one on one stopper ability becomes visible?
Question could now be, whats the difference between penalty stopper and this, is one on one just bettet all around? Or is this just for show?

Actually works but depends on players performance too. You don't have to do any super extra duper test you can just play on Top Eleven 2015 live animated match and whenever a player is using the special ability you will see it live on that player.
From 11 only 8 have a visual display, if I am not wrong.... play maker, dribbler & corner kick specialist.
Show and work (makes a difference) are not the same thing.
And I am still unsure, that the same player without SA wouldn't do the sam, just without the visual.
Both my flanks score the same, one shows his SS SA, the other doesn't but scores just as much

Is like me now that bought.. 3 or 4 ST's with one and one SA....
My theory, added in the thread "Theory of the internal proggramming applied" say that all players have all SAs in hidden mode, and every SA is asociated with comments/actions so internally a SA can be " dominant" despite that the external SA that give a (+) of % benefit to some of these SA's is applied due that, the external + internal is too low. Thats why some playmakers play like dribblers, or so. (at least is my theory) by my viewpoint a player have to have a form to play determined for some facts + min/max %'s of developement and appearances/contribution in matches so I've tryed to understand that/solve da mistery to understand the game as it is and play in the same wind direction as the game in the place tha go against.
Well more or less thats what I wanna say LOL,,, more in the right more in da left.
The question maybe now is, should be different? or better question, is better train a SA in a player that "of base" play in a way, to increase internally the dominant SA adding the external?... or a player that have nothing as playmaker "adding 5o (sorry I dont have zero in keyboard at now thats why the "o" in 5o lol) cones to the external SA" can be converted in a good playmaker suddenly?....
Mistery comin' :3
First of all I have to say that I want to belive in SA, but last season I had a game for the Cup, which i lost with penalties. My players missed 2 penaltues from 5. The two players that missed the penalties was the the only one with SA penalty kicks specialist. One of them was bought from the scout list and the other from the auction (nordgen) both of the players are good with high raiting. I think that this is example shows that SA is just a visual and dosent work as it should. What do u think Nik? Can we say that this myth is broken?for me it looks that it is.
