The bad performance can be that he was a lone striker, against a 3 man defence (DR-DC-DL).

But the text "not motivated enough", and looking at what I did prematch, leaves me with the feeling that there was nothing I could do to motivate that player. If the result of a match isn't based alone on factors that I (and opponement) can affect, what role does this leave me with?
Might only be able to affect 90% of the factors that makes the result of the match, the rest is chance/luck?

In my opponion managers should affect all 100% that makes the result. Since this is a game, chance/luck/randomness shouldn't be a factor like real football games.
