You can never pass 13, bad luck !

At last, Winning Eleven won the league after struggling 5-2 vs Rebes with the last 2 goals in the last minutes. A draw would have been a catastrophe because I would have risked the title against River Plate in the last match. Luckily, they still make a 0-0 raising my lead again to 7 points.
World United confirmed it's leadership, and if we win tomorrow we will even end the season unbeaten.
Out of 6 trophies we won 3, that's surely a positive result, but too bad we wasted the CL out of my underestimation and even bad luck, and a cup final that went to trash to the PK.
Not bad however, Winning Eleven confirmed to be a very strong competitor in every league, 7 titles out of 11 seasons and 1 second place.

After failed to win within 90 minutes for 11 matches (including 7 consecutive losses in league), my Level 24 team finally defeated the league leader by 3-1 today and climbed to 6th place with 1 final league match left.
Since the CL Final yesterday, I finally seriously consider how I can fix the extreme bad form of my team and prepare matches against 2 strong teams with 4-4-2 formation. In last 2 matches, I still adopt DR-2DC-DML-2MC-AML-AMR-ST which is one of my basic formation, and still use my usual hard defending strategy. But I really try to further strengthen my defense. I set blue arrows which I rarely use before on some midfielders and defensive midfielders. I set focus passing to long because I want to give up my midfield and play directly. During the match today, I even pull my AMR back to MR as I notice opponent's ML played well and I suddenly realize that my AMR is always surrounded by opponent's DL and ML. My team finally played reasonably in these 2 matches.
My team will play against the 9th team, and will still be possible to fall to that position and fail to promote for the first time in T11 management history.
Even though I reduce the ticket price from 78 to 70, stadium was just filled with 224000 today. I forgot that this was the team's last home match. Otherwise, I would set the ticket prize to free to thanks for the support of my fans in these years.
Edit:
Just notice that the last league match will also be home match. I will set ticket prize to 1 which is the minimum to thank for my fans.

My two teams lost the champions league and it so painful. Golden eaglets were in the final as favourite, but somehow my best midfielder got a red card which was my first in any competitive match and I subsequently lost by 2goals to nil. Arrghhh[emoji83]

World United beats Yu FC 4-2 and went unbeaten for the whole league with an astounding record of 25 victories and 1 draw! Better than anything my main team Winning Eleven has ever done!

Now to take on Mourinho and win!
First try 0-3 LOL
Final seasons have completed. I failed to lead my teams to win any trophy in this season. But they can promote in every season except one season in which I managed my new team for 1 day only.
Level 32 Team: NT Bulldog
Final Result: League - 3rd
Comment: Delight to see my team slowly moved up league table since mid-season after a very slow start. Also delight that my AML/ML Forte who joined the team near mid season played sufficient league matches to claim the title of top rated player
Attachment 63640Attachment 63641
Level 24 Team: Beauty
Final Result: League - most likely 6th, CL - runner up
Comment: My team suffered a 7 game losing steak in league within this season. But it finally bounced back from league round 25. The victories in final 2 league matches ensured it continue to promote. In CL, the team walked through a rocky road in playoff before reaching the Final. It won by penalty in Top16, won by 1 goal in Top 8, and won in extra time in Quarter Final. In Final, as underdog, it played quite well and was only defeated because of 1 late goal.

Atlético Kolkata Day 27 & 28 Report
These two days (or games) were warm up matches for the new players, namely, DMC Andrea Pirlo, DC/DR Roberto Carlos, AML/ML Kayis, MC Stokke and AML/AMC/AMR Rusu, and reverting back to 4-5-1V. But this time I've planned to keep such a squad so that both 4-3-2-1 and 4-5-1V can be played.
On Day 27, we won 2-0 at the last home game. Pirlo scored on debut, assisted by David, who himself scored later on from a DFK. MOM was the debutant, for the goal and being the heartbeat of the team.
Today we lost 3-1 away. Finally Spartak FC managed to beat us, with a draw and Atlético Kolkata winning all 4 of their previous clashes. The lone goal came from Garayar by a Klochkov corner.
We have a Cup to our cabinet, Eben tho couldn't achieve the double I aimed for:http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/03...197861537c.jpgThis is how we fared in league; nit bad for a tanking team:http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/03...23640dc170.jpg
End of season stats:
Most games: Klochkov and Jaque (42)
Most yellow cards: Garayar (5)
Most red cards: Bircan (1) [that too a double yellow]
Most goals: David Asare-Addai (27)
Most assists: David Asare-Addai (10)
Most MOM: David Asare-Addai (8)
The season can be described as: the striker from England (David) is my Marcus Rashford.
So another season over, and the game joy has been considerably reduced.

Day 28 - Palace teams final day report.
Palace Casuals went away to the League Champions-elect and saw their 9 match unbeaten run come to a halt with a 0-2 defeat.
Attachment 63648
Palace Terriers were at home to 3rd place and gained comprehensive revenge for their only League defeat of the season, winning 3-0. In the absence of the first choice set-piece taker, DMC Philip McKay took over the duty and netted two direct free-kicks, Christophe Ouahbi scoring the other goal with assistance from striker Samir Gross.

Thanks a lot.
The cup is 4 levels higher than mine (I am level 18, the cup is at level 22) so very tough to win. I did not even expect the treble but the luck was on my end this season.
Maybe the next time to win my second treble will be another 18 seasons, who knows, will see...
The last result was 2-13 (for us), long time we didn't had a weird result like this. Normally we don't score so much and concede goals.
No problems in our last match, finished third. Ronchi scored 4 and became top scorer with 1:1 in league (11 goals in the last four matches). Not bad for a striker. AMR/AMC Bourgeois was best rated.
First quarter of this season killed my chances, after that it was a breeze.

Palace Casuals end-of-season report.
Palace Casuals started their 32nd season at Level 28, and were defending League Champions from their Level 27 League.
In the League, the first half of the season was reminiscent of the Level 26 'dark days', the team at times couldn't buy a win, and after the 14th Round were languishing in 11th place and looked like losing touch with those above them. The Management had decided on a gradual replacement of older and lower-Q players, but the offer of a ST/AMR from the sponsors and the appearance of a greatly-needed DC/DR in the scout list prompted a double purchase which went on to both shore up a leaky defence and increase the rate of scoring at the other end. After a win and a loss in the next two matches, Casuals went on a 9 match unbeaten run (8W1D) which saw them climb from 11th to 6th, and with a little more luck, would have seen them in a Champions League spot. The ST/AMR notched up 16 goals in 12 matches, but also forged a partnership with the other two dual-role STs on the books in a triple threat attack which were equally accomplished in both AML/AMR/ST and AMC/ST/ST formations. If this continues the Casuals should be an attacking force to be reckoned with next season.
Attachment 63657Attachment 63658
The Champions League was an unexpected success story, Casuals defying their League form by progressing through the Group stage with only one defeat, and on to the Semi-Finals, where a defeat over two legs to the eventual winners ended their campaign.
Attachment 63661
The Cup campaign was the usual story. Surviving in the competition through the first two days was a Casuals rarity, but defeats in the next round halted them in their tracks as the realities of what was later revealed to be a Level 32 Cup bit home.

Palace Terriers end-of-season report.
Palace Terriers started their 9th season at Level 9, and being runners-up in their Level 8 League, were expecting to go one better this season.
The League season for Palace Terriers was one great success, winning the League Championship with their record number of points and goals scored, going through the 100 goal barrier for the first time. Starting with a middling Quality, the Management's careful replacement policy and the rapid improvements in players due to intensive training saw Terriers' overall Quality increase and they dropped only 7 points all season, with some prodigious scoring feats by certain players never before seen in a Terriers squad.
Attachment 63679Attachment 63680
Success also in the Champions League, winning all their games bar one (a draw) as Terriers progressed to the Final and won a very even and tightly-fought match by a single set-piece goal.

Compared to last season, a modicum of success in the Cup, Terriers going one step further to the Play-off Round.

NEXT SEASON HIGHEST LEVEL, SO THIS IS PROBABLY LAST TITLE:

It feels like T11 orchestrated a wild finish for my Level 8 league. With the new training systems, better understanding of formations and orders, and generous win bonuses, I had caught a monster winning run in the second half and climbed into the top spot for the first time with two games left to play. The previous two top teams kept trading the lead, neither being able to put any distance between themselves and the pack.
In Round 25, I could have clinched the title with a win over a weaker opponent, but the score went back and forth and I lost 2:3 in the final minutes. Probably T11's way of playing silly buggers with us.
Before Round 26, either of the three teams could have finished in either of the three top spots. What a fun way to end the season - provided you win.
Owing to the time difference most likely, I always play the first or the last match of the round somehow. Therefore, I already knew before my final game started that one of my rivals lost and the other drew (and went up a point on me). With a win or a draw I was going to take the league owing to a hugely positive goal differential. I was playing the last place team who was either tanking or luckless. They had LLLLL for their form and probably two or three wins for the season to their name. I had beaten them 5:1 the first time around. Still I sweated it and threw everything at it, including top win bonus and full health and morale for all players. I was not leaving anything to chance. I was not going to give them their fourth win.
I won 3:0. What did you expect? Something different?
This was my 5th league win in 8 seasons. I expect it gets harder.
My second year holdover ML/AML, the 23 year old Spaniard Angel Orue finished as the league's and team's leading scorer, by a mile. He is one of the lowest rated players on the first squad, but continues to produce. He is rated 72% (4*) in the new season, but has already scored in the first cup tie. Unfortunately, he is hopeless in training.
I also finally have a bona fide fast training superstar in the 20 year old Brazilian MC Ildemar Pinheiro. He responds well to power training (he may be the only one on the roster as far as I know), takes corner kicks, and is the only 6* (102%) on the team. He was the MOM of both legs of the first cup tie this new season. But that's stuff for the new thread.
Thanks to all for your support, especially HoofDaddy, Nik the Greek, El Pistolero and Arion.
I am proud you you ponzu, especially for not leaving that last game to chance.
Well done. I hope Atlético Kolkata wins the league this season, since it's now the only competition we'll be playing... Seriously we can be first in 128 teams twice, first in 112 teams but not first in 14?
And it's Day 3 next season. This thread should be closed by now.
I did the treble last season, took me a while to work out the best way to train, but I sorted it out, the cup is always hard because the teams are usually 3 levels above me, but in the champs and my league there never seems to be a challenge, sadly I don't get any teams near my level which I wish I did because I want to fight for the title and have that same feeling I do in the cup, not knowing if I'm going to win.
