Is that I have 4 players with yellow for the 2nd CL match and as always one want have the best team for a posible final... I can not play it without Beckham MC, Giannistanis MC, Tokgonul AML or Malka AMR... Malka will start as sub and Correa will play... thenlets see wth a advantadge of 2-1 if we can keep the result, and if can do sub's or so LOL

3 injuries in the last 4 games. Sold a striker at a loss that jumped over negotiation level, oh well he got a clutch goal in a 1-2 win so worth the 7 million net loss lol. Added two young fast training 3stars to develop and sell on next season and drop overall quality as all of our first team are scout level.

Just overtaken the leader for first but I have a feeling I will end up 3rd as I play 3rd place team and he is an active manager with a superior squad that is responsible for the club's only loss of the season. Who knows though, the return tie is at home and the players are sizzling lately.

Day 25 - Palace teams report (1/2).
Palace Terriers played their away 2nd Leg of the Champions League Semi-Finals and won 5-1 to progress to the Final with an 11-1 aggregate score. Striker Samir Gross claimed MoM with a brace, and midfielder Lukasz Sapela, left-winger Nikolay Radev and DMC Philip McKay shared the other goals. Defender Onder Chamoun provided two free-kick assists.

Palace Casuals were at home against the bottom-place team, and won 6-0 to continue their good recent league form. Right-winger Maarten Wiegman went one better then his recent braces and netted a hat-trick, defenders Rene Jensen and Jonathan Garrido, and midfielder Felipe de Vasconcelas Leite bagged the other goals. Once the other results were in, Casuals go up a place to 6th.

I was simply destined not to be in the champions league finals.... I was really better than him, but my players were just woeful today. All of a sudden they decided to play bad even though I won with 4goals in league. Flying Eagles has stopped flying, while Golden Eaglets has shown their golden talents to be in the finals.

What a defeat! We were able to take it easy in the league match today, but I really underestimated my CL opponent, that took the lead soon after the beginning of the second half, and after I score the 1-1 I was unable to score again. That took me to the PK...and I lost! I thought it would have been an easy match, but even with the absence of the manager I couldn't really have the upper hand. My fault, only my fault. Goodbye CL final! Thankfully I will not cry too much over it, I won 3 already, but another trophy would have been good too.
Same for World United, after losing 2-1 in the first leg I was able to recover and even take the lead, but I still lost conceding 2 late goals near the end of the game. This one was a slightly harder match.
However I conquered the league in advance.
Tomorrow though I can concentrate on 2 cup finals, hoping to win at least one! But I think it will be very difficult :(

Day 25 - Palace teams report (2/2).
No Champions League Final for Palace Casuals, the first minute yellow card and free kick to the opposition heralding the 'it's just not your day' match. Casuals dominated throughout, were 0-2 down in the first half-hour, and to add insult to injury, had left-back Lukas Lembacker injured in a foul tackle in which the opposition perpetrator was not punished by the referee. Final score 0-2, aggregate 0-3.

Palace Terriers had an away League match against 8th place, and had to work for their 3-2 win. The two wingers combined for left-winger Nikolay Radev to open the scoring, and after the hosts had equalised from the penalty spot, striker Brian Horne went through the defence and beat the 'keeper to put the Terriers back ahead. Another equaliser for the home side made it 2-2 at the break, but right-winger Declan McGranaghan scored what became the winning goal in the 57th minute.

Both the favourites are in the Final of Terriers' Champions League. On paper, Terriers are the weaker of the two, but it should be an interesting match.

Preparing the team for CUP final which normally should not be a big problem but you never know with Top 11 :o

LOL, for the second time I lost the cup final at the penalty kicks! That thing is unwinnable! After struggling for 6 rounds I meet a strong team which I could contain for a 1-1 and then lose for just 1 missed penalty.
Try again the next season? No way, I'm level 11 and I meet level 16, what next?

AEPRE FC Returning Announcement
AEPRE FC will celebrates its 3rd anniversary of its creation in the upcoming season. This means the club will make its return to the Top Eleven scene once again.
At level 13 (or 14 if we managed to win promotion), the highest level ever played and achieved by the club's manager, and several leftover players remained in the team from the last season we played.
Troye Sivan at 6* 87, will be the one who will remains in the club for our return at this current moment. Huliano method will be used to gain favourable draw in the league.
AEPRE FC is hoping to play for two or more consecutive seasons, and attempting to win the Champions League. It is also rumoured that takeovers may be used in the season after if the manager decided to continue, and the board also have the same idea for the season later.
The original AEPRE FC was created on the evening of 23rd of March, in the wake of the closure of an another online football management game. To date, it is the most successful brand the manager has managed. The second and current AEPRE FC was started on the 8th of March last year, also for the purpose of club anniversary.
The second AEPRE FC were forced to play on a tank-and-play basis as a result of the new league draw update last July, which upsets not just AEPRE FC, but also several clubs in the Top Eleven world and the community of managers.

We managed to grab ourselves a 3-1 win aganist Marci FC. We're now 7th placed team with 42 points, just one more point and it will seals the promotion. Mathematically, we may still qualify for the Champions League but it is practically impossible as either 4th placed FC Kuba (47 points) and 5th placed Carlos FC (46 points) will be the two teams battling for the place.
Now, after this burning defeat in the cup final we try to regain morale to win the league, so we don't throw a "Bayer Leverkusen 2002" at this season.

With 3 days to complete my journey in T11, the trend of my team is interesting. I am not able to win 1 more league in this season. But I may still keep them in Top 4 in this final season.

The team won the 2nd placed team today, moved to 4th place, and is just 1 point less than the 2nd place team. It may move back to 5th place later today. But it has a good chance to challenge for runners up in league because it face weak teams in last 2 matches.
For the team started the season with 1W2D6L, I am delighted with the current 13W3D8L. The decision to acquire high quality but old defenders to upgrade the team seems correct.

In league, after losing 6 matches in a row, the team finally draw with the 3rd placed team today. It temporarily moved up to 4th place, but it unlikely stay in this position by season day end. I no longer interested on league now and even consider to allow the team to continue to break the losing record. But my team still need to compete CL Champion tomorrow. I cannot let the player form to worsen continuously.
I have already brought the first ever player through negotiation. I even consider to buy scout players but these are still not worthy in my opinion. I rather keep the token to change my team name, player names, stadium names, etc. before I will abandon my team in coming season.
But my defender and goalkeepers are really too inconsistent. I tried to buy some new ones through negotiation. If I am success to get new players, I may sell some young fast trainers to the agent. This is crazy.
BTW, the coming CL final will involve two teams from Group H. Maybe this prove again Group H is strong.

What a competition! Never give up is my only advice. After 8 games I was at 13th place with 3 wins and 5 losses. 2 rounds before the end I am winner of the league. OK....... weird but NICE! :) :) :) Never expected that. I am hardly mentioned in all the top 5's of players and my scoring has been sub standard with only + 32 goals. 8 games ago I was only at +13 goals. Strangest season ever. Now only the final left in the CL and I can call this season very succesfull again. The loss against a 3 level higher team in the cup is forgotten.
My second team is almost champion with 3 games to go and 7 points ahead. Things can happen though.
We did it! We retained the Cup trophy!

6-0 Cup win using our new Liverpool away kit for the first time. League won, Cup retained, all that's left is the Champions League to secure the treble!
Despite the huge disappointment from Winning Eleven after losing another cup final, World United was able to throw an awesome match against a stronger team! 24.0 vs 27.2 and with an active manager. Playing defensively with counter attack through the center of the field was the key to victory right from the first half, and our opponent was never a danger.
Congratulations! Although I hoped to see my main team winning, but this is a sign that even if the team is stronger and richer it's only a matter of luck and playstyle. Surely this game knows how to award those who don't deserve it.

Reducing quality is the only way for stability. I've been there, always going out in prelims facing teams 3 levels above me while I had a 4* team.
You don't have to sell your whole squad, you don't have to sell your best players. If you keep 8 of your first 11, replace the other 3 with 3*s and have 3 3* subs and no more than 14 players you'll drop overall quality drastically and you will face fairer competition. Keep those 3*s as long as possible eventually they will be 1* and it will be better and better. As soon as day 3 comes I bid on negotiations for decent players who will appear as unwanted low quality to other teams. Fill up your subs, try to get players with more than one position.
I have a DC/DMC playmaker, DL, DC, DR def wall 31 year old, ML, freekick taker MC and a freekick taker striker. That is all I need.
I will have to sacrifice these players, even though the sub MC has over 10 goals.
Not sure I will try the next season, maybe other one. I didn't even planned to win 3 consecutive leagues, but apparently it just happened, I'd take a break, refill all the packs and try again.Quote:

Sorry I just vented a little :) 11 seasons, only 2 cup finals and 2 defeats at the PK, when in the meantime I win the other tournaments as I side effect.
I'm level 28 and I always lost to teams divisions above me. I started decreasing overal quality 2 months ago and I've won 2 cups in 2 tries since.
I've probably won the cup 3 times and CL once but won the League over 10 times.

@Tyltyl also never let go of the academy players. No need to even waste tokens to reduce Q. Usually a goalie, 2 defenders , one or two midfielder(s) (DMx-Mx) and 3 attacking players (AMx-ST) [ie 7 players] should be always present in most of the games. That's where multiposition players come handy. I tend to buy DL/DC, DC/DR the most since it's quite limiting for me. For that reason I'll let go of Kroos(DL), who's been in bad form for the last 10 days or so. The only single position players I'll recommend are DC, MC and ST. It's very hard to find multi position attacking players, so don't let go of them.Quote:

A good test before the Cup game, the boys won 7-0 away against a(nother) tanking team. Tiago had to be stretched off the the 5th only and we got an early goal from a free kick. I didn't knew that the "1-0 down. 2-1 up. That's the way we're gonna win the Cup." will hold true for me, as exactly that had happened. With a goal being scored in the 4th minute itself from a CK, and the bench being better than the starting wingers, I decided to double sub them in 21' itself. New recruit Kayis for John and Tiago for Bircan. Tiago striked in the 33' itself from an incisive pass by David, and the latter player confirmed his MOM position by scoring the winner in 65', pushing the defender very close to the goal and then shooting from his right. Such a close shot could not be saved by the goalie, and the bench again erupted to joy as we did three seasons ago. Apparently, in that time too we were trailing 1-2 only to win 3-2.
