Working wonders is over. After 9 consecutive wins I lost a match against the number 9 of the league. Although I was a little stronger the score was 3-1. My whole team had an off day. It happens. Next game was a win again with 2-0. I am number 2 still though with the same points as the number 1 but he scored 18 goals more then me. Not bad. First half of the CL was 2-0. Looking good to get to the finals.
Second team is consolidating its league. Number 2 tied where I won 6-0. The end of the season is going to be nailbiting though. In the last 4 games I will be facing the number 2,3, and 4. Coincidence again? It often seems that this happens in the end of the season. Last season my last 3 games were against the number 4, 2 and then 5.

Palace Terriers played their Champions League Semi-Final 1st Leg at home and also had a 6-0 score to put one foot into the Final. Right-winger Declan McGranaghan and striker Samir Gross each bagged a brace, and left-winger Nikolay Radev and centre-back Onder Chamoun got the final touches to Andre Forsmark free-kicks for the other goals.

Just over three hours after their League match and Palace Casuals were in action in the Champions League Semi-Final 1st Leg away. Obviously tired legs were in play as they produced a lacklustre performance before going down 0-1.

There was good news as their 7th place was confirmed when the only team that could overtake them lost in the final League matches of the day.

Palace Terriers played at home to 4th place in the League and found themselves with a 1 point deficit on starting XI quality. The opposition manager turned up with a groupie and wiped out most of the possession advantage, so the Terriers Management made up for that with playing high with offside trap and repeated applications of possession bonus. Goalkeeper Aurelian M'Futi did the rest, winning MoM by making 7 saves to snuff out any chance of the visitors scoring, but their defence was also making the Terriers forwards sweat for their money. Striker Samir Gross latched onto a long clearance from defence in the 17th minute and rammed the ball home for the only goal of the game.

Looks like you guys (Gert, Talisman) are getting the results I was getting in the first half. I have the good results in the second half, 11 wins out of 12 games and I am back in the lead. WONDERSSSSS, WORKING WONDERSSSSS :p All I can say is that I hope for you guys that the bad streak will be over soon.
CL semi finale was strange also. Opponent scored 3 times and all the time I was trailing. So 1-0 for opponent, 2-1, 3-2 and then my team got the spirit and the game ended in 3-6 for me. So even if opponent wins the away match with 0-3 I am still through to the final. There I will propably face a token buyer as this guy has a full team of 6-7 star players and all players have
league....only 1 pt clear at the top...so...easy to lose the title... CL...i think i will go into the final...as first leg 4:0 at away..... CUP...well...i don't really care now.... first leg away game lost 2:1...and my ST was sent off...and DMC also got enough yellow card.... but LV9 in LV 13 CUP... semi-final is not bad at all... just hate the CUP drawing system....cause it is not giving a chance for lower LV..... LV9 face LV13....how many Q in different even always said Q is not the only element to win or not.... but still.... that make the LV13 has a upper hand and bigger chances to win~ well... if i am facing a LV 9 with all 8 or 9 star...i won't say anything same LV...just one likely to spend..... but LV13 is in a different Q standard ....

Yesterday Winning Eleven easily won 5-0 in the league, so we kept the league. However we only made 1-1 in the CL semifinal, hopefully that away goal will help us through the final!
World United has been very unlucky! Lost 1-2 in the Champion's League vs a stronger opponent. We took the lead and we were able to defend, but for some reason the game went out of sync, it froze for a good minute and then it went on, while the other manager was watching. The opponent scored 2 goals in a split second, I wasn't even able to change tactics or players, probably thanks to that freeze. In fact to me the game ended at minute 79° and the final result was already in the homepage while the live match was still available. Is that fair? Probably nothing would have change, but I don't think it's fair that the other manager can finish the game while I'm 1 minute late.
That's it, I have to score 2 goals in the away match and the opponent is stronger. Likely it's goodbye Champion's League for World United!
The good news is that we keep the advantage in the league, and we are going to win in a few matches.

Palace Terriers played at home against 12th place and coasted to a 4-0 win. The Management tried out a new set-piece taker, and centre/right-back Onder Chamoun obliged with a direct free-kick to open the scoring, and two corner assists for the last two goals, and received the MoM award. Wingers Declan McGranaghan (2) and Nikolay Radev were the other scorers.

Today the Cup game was a cracker of a contest, with Atlético Kolkata winning 4-3 away, tying the agg 5-5 but the boys progressed to their second Cup final on away goals, 4-2. Palace Casuals went away to 4th place, and despite being labelled the Favourite on the pre-match screen, for an hour were definitely out of it. At 0-2 down and tired of the AM saying 'just keep patient, a goal will come', the Management decided a change of tactics was called for, and changed to attacking and slapped on an attacking bonus. Goals from right-winger Maarten Wiegman (2), left-winger Andre Faisca and striker Massimiliano Gerini (2) followed and the Casuals won 5-2.

What an incredible season day! Winning Eleven took a little rest waiting for the important cup semifinal. We won 1-0, nothing incredible, but it was all we needed to keep the lead. Lately we had to recover the 1-1 in the first leg of the cup semifinal and what an incredible match! We took the lead, but thanks to a stupid penalty at the 85' minute we had to play the Extra Time. Thankfully, another goal from my AMR gave us easy access, as Fulham had to score 2 goal to beat us. Only at the very last minute he was able to tie for a 2-2, but enough to let us go to the final thanks to the 2 away goals!
World United instead had easy life in both the league and the cup. Still in the first place and almost unable to be reached, and also in the cup final!
So, now I have 2 cup finals to play! Hopefully, I can win at least one, but both teams have really really hard games to play as the opponents are much stronger!

I had a single day like that this season and that cost me the CUP, lost without even see the ball, and being much stronger, about your tackling did u try hard tackling, maybe your players are getting late a bit trying not to be carefully tackling, also do use any arrows if I make my attacking players to defend a get a lot of cards too. I was having a look at our rivals group stages and he was his substitute striker too.
And this is the highlights of the semifinal, 3-3 on aggregate that leads me to the final.
