Day 7 - Palace teams report (1/2).
The Management seems to have got the hang of the new training system, but is worrying about all the green packs that are needed to make sure that the team is ready for each match...
Palace Casuals were away in their Champions League Group stage Round 3 match, and got their first win for 6 matches, left-back Lukas Lembacker opening his account with a header from an Andrea Denicola corner, and midfielder Borislav Raykov doing likewise with a power strike that earned him MoM, just one match after getting the naughty-boy award...
Palace Terriers entertained the 13th place team in the League and put out the reserves, winning convincingly 7-0. Right-winger Declan McGranaghan took MoM with a perfect score after his hat-trick and an assist; striker Kamel Hamlili scored and then was injured; the visitors had three defenders with Defensive Wall SA, but they didn't prevent left-back Andre Forsmark putting two of the three direct free-kicks he took from ending up in the back of the net.
Oh, and another double yellow for Gert to chew over...![]()
