First players from youth academy!

Today I've just received for the first time two 18 years old guys from academy.

The first one is totally crappy: DC, 2*16, 170k.
I don't have to pay any token so I've made him a contract and instantly put on sell.

The second one is quite good: DC DR, 4*28.
And now to the hamlet doubt.. to buy or not to buy?

I should spend 24 ts.
With 25 ts I can buy 3M, so it is absolutely not worthwhile to buy him just for selling.

In this moment you can find a DC, 4*27 on the market at 780k which means that I could get it for 850-900 and less than 10 tokens.

In consideration of the above, apparently this players are totally useless but I'd like to hear your opinion.

Well its all up to you, but is the -DC DR, 4*28- far/close to next lvl (5*)? Then you should consider if it is worth to purchase him for that kind of amount or are there other/similar players on the TM for less? Otherwise, for +26T you can buy yourself a scout instead of the academy player.

Even getting more than 1 skill per day he will get the 5th star just in time to lose it next season

i spent 21 tokens on a dc from youth power trained him to the match same level as other team and he`s now one of my best players, i only signed him as needed dc plus see what his training was like if he slow then easy sell, and more imporant for future youth players that i needed to use tokens for, so if you need that position sign him and power train

Well he isnt bad, I´m confident he can reach/become scout in a week (or less). But its your decision

My 19yrs old DC+DMC (M.Nastasić) gets like 3skill points per day (2 for playing 90min + 1 for training/cardio). He went from 25Q to 28Q in about 4-5 days, soo hopefully he will reach scout lvl next week.

something is wrong in your count....

assuming that Nastasić gets 3 points in 5 days it means that it gets 0.6 points per day (as you also said)
from 28 to 35 (scout level) he needs 21 points (105 skills)

which means 35 days....

The value is very good, 2.65M.

He's a fast player for training growth but not so fast. My 21 years DC-DMC has more or less the same speed

but come next season, your power trained youth should be too bad in comparison to what you can buy on the TM right?
