Your question is coming from a bad angle. Is pointless to say like this because abilities are not related between them like you assumed that might be.

But like an answer, yes it can but not because of the special ability but just simply by his stats and that's all.

Also despite the abilities looks like something permanent they are not, they are just something temporarily during the game and they only activate when you are in a specific situation.

Defensive wall - Against free kicks
Free kick taker - When you have free kicks
Penalty kick taker - At penalties

And so on

Do you believe at all in SA? What makes you think that they are not just visual? Because I play this game over 40 seasons and have not seen evidence that SA really work.

They do work and you can see them in live match, when they activate you see over a player an icon that represent his specific special ability.

First of all I have to say that I wanted to belive in SA and I liked them, but last season I had a game for the Cup, which i lost with penalties. My players missed 2 penaltues from 5. The two players that missed the penalties was the the only one with SA penalty kicks specialist. One of them was bought from the scout list and the other from the auction (nordgen) both of the players are good with high raiting.

So, I think that when SA activate in live match it is just visual effect... Unfortunately!

Agreed! The idea and visual is great. The reel effect is sadly absent

IMO SA work with right players and on the proper positions, all my team has SA and I try to explore that a lot shadow striker always score from long range, free kick taker usually scores, corner kick works well and on defense only aerial and defense wall, some people do put others SA for defenders but I think it's a waste and for me even dmc should only defend, the only ones I don't like much is dribler, and playmaker I think they don't work att all.
