My best performers ATM in the team are:
Groß (MR/AMR - Corner taker): 101 goals in 169 matches
Chahrour (ST): 98 goals in 140 matches
Lapin (ML/AML - FK taker): 63 goals in 55 matches (1.15 goals/match!)

All three were in the top 5 scorers list (with Lapin being the top scorer and Chahrour the 3rd) + best classification in the league and Lapin and Groß were in the top 5 assisters, Groß being the leader.

I <3 Escobar, he topped the assist chart tho.
I keep a record of the players not by goals and assist, but a point system where a goal=2 and an assist=1.

If I did a point system Escobar would be in a class of his own.
He was the first ever recommended player at a bargain 35 tokens and he was almost world class. He hit the ground running and hasn't looked back. A true legend and I am trying to keep my team going season after season. I have replaced just one player, a near Scout 19 yr old DMC/DC def header for Malacort a DC/DR def header.

I am so pleased with the popularity and response of this thread, thank you to everyone who took an interest. When either player breaks the record for most goals I will post the result in here

My both Aml/r are on top goal chase this season.
This 20th season is started with great suspense.
My aml is shadow st,he scored 11 goals in 5 matches.
My Amr is free kick taker,he scored 10 in 5 matches.
Lol last season my aml did 30 goals and amr did 31 goals.
Both wings on head on head challange

It seems that the recommended players are breaking havoc on TE. David has become a legend at only 21 years of age.

I don't think so... I haven't keep a record (will do it from now on though!) My first star was a Scout buy, Japanese guy called Morito (DMR, MR, AMR, FK specialist) he was near Lapin in terms of Goals per game but since he played more than 4 seasons for me he might be the record holder.

However I am rooting for Lapin to become the next record holder, as I started with him at 18 (really nice Nordgen finding. Was ML, I fast trained AML + FK ability) and he has a better goal/game ratio than any other player I've ever seen. He might hit the 100 goal mark this season with only 19 of age!

Shadow striker is one of my favourite abilities. I have ML, AMC and MR with it

Yeah, I have signed maybe 4 or 5 and only 2 remain. My second was a flop though AMC/ST penalty kick

I think it's best to have enough just incase. You just don't know what you might find on recommended and market. Sometimes I use negotiations which requires a lot too. I bought a MR/AMR shadow striker for 20T and £200m which probably cost over 35T

You should find out your current record and print screen it and keep it. Try to break it and print screen the new record
