Every season, you can't have easy or normal competitions. Else, it is likely that you will win most competitions every season. Once in a while, there must be some different challenges. The problem is when the situation like you posted above repeats itself almost every season; then, this is not acceptable. What if the opposing team shown on the picture you posted was grouped with teams 4-5 levels above in almost all the past seasons, and this season this team has been given a better chance?

So, briefly, you can't always be the favourite to win every season. What I mean is that there must be a proper balance between the opportunities given to each team.
