    Day 15 - Palace teams report (2/2).

Palace Terriers second match of the day was a Champions League 'Top-16' Round 1st Leg away, and after a bright start, a first half collapse brought three goals for the home side, and after adding a fourth in the second half, a Terriers substitution and formation change finally brought a positive reaction, and substitute Nikolay Radev and midfielder Lukasz Sapela pulled in a couple of away goals to give the visitors some hope for the 2nd Leg.

Palace Casuals rounded off the first half of their League season at home to 13th place, and a 3-0 win boosts them up into the Champions League spots. Striker Jack Auger bagged a brace, one from striker, the second from right-wing after the Terriers Management decided to give the stuttering Maarten Wiegman a rest. Left-winger Angelo Musto scored the other goal.

If some players could still run, they did IMHO not perform well. It's another stupid comment ass man!

I'm surprised they could run more, as they were on hard attacking most of the second half...

One thing I've got to sort out is why the Terriers have started having problems with 3MC formations - all but one of the defeats this season have been that way, and have not had any issues previously...

What formation are you using, 4-5-1(V)?

Not that match I wasn't - 4-3N-2W(AM)-1. Normal/flanks/mixed passing. Changed to 4-2-2-2 Hexagon Hard attack/flanks/mixed (nothing to lose...) with the substitution and then started dominating.

Yeah, 2 vs 3 in midfield - but it seemed to work. Strange?

I have noticed that 4-2-2-2 (Hexagon) appeared to be overpowered lately. But, keep into consideration that this was only observed on the highlight parts, and hence on the scoreline, or based on the results of other team using this formation, but not necessarily in the match details (possession and so on). This formation used to be inferior, especially when faced with formations having 3 in the middle, but it seems as if something has changed. Recently, I got a draw against a lower quality team that used 4-2-2-2. This game behaves strangely at times.
