How far is this being true? (Imagine if we have both players with a corner speciality and have the same crossing %, but differ in left/right - footed.

It doesn't matter as long the player is good enough to cross. Wingers and wide midfielders are ideal for this role, since crossing and creativity are important attributes for them.
Lol corner kick is just a kick not dribbling so foot not matters lol.Maybe it matters very much in real life but its a game.
You tested this? I know you like your CK specialists. :)
I'm still relying on an old guide, stating:
http://forum.topeleven.com/tutorials...-opponent.htmlQuote:
Corner kicks: They are crosses from either side of the opponent’s goal. Your corner kick takers should be right footed for right corner kicks and left footed for left corner kicks and in both cases have high crossing skill. Using the correct footed player is very important, as a plain right footed player will be better crossing a right corner kick than a left footed corner specialist (unless he also has a much higher crossing skill).
It would be great if anyone could convince me otherwise.
I have two, a AML/ST and a DL/DC. The defender had played way more games that ths winger last season, yet the winger came first for the club with 12 assists. Both are right footed, long day since I've had a left footed attacker...
But do they assist equally from both sides or mostly from the right?
This game seems to favour out-swinging corners. The same applies for cross free-kicks and direct shot free-kicks, though logically a left-footed player would more likely be suitable for making a shot from the right, and a right footed-player would more likely be suitable for making a shot from the left. This is also a matter of preference.
In real football these days, a left-footed player is usually preferred for taking corners from the right, and a right-footed player for taking corner from the left. This is to be able to do in-swinging crosses. Also, some players might find it easier to do in-swinging corners than out-swinging ones.
The advantage of doing an out-swinging cross is that the ball curves away from the goalkeeper, making it more difficult to catch, but one disadvantage is that the ball may go out of play before curving back in.
To answer the question briefly, there are indications in the game itself that show that footedness probably matters, but this has been said to be a myth by some users here. These indications could also be there just to fool the user. So, it is not confirmed whether footedness makes a difference in this game. Experiment yourself, and use what you think is best or what is working the best for you.
I agree about your football analysis but don't agree about the game theory.
As we have non official answer from nordeus devs and no member/player managed so far to prove something like this (or at least to have some clue), I consider this as just some scenario.Quote:

The guide Duncton mentioned is very good but as in the other good guides, some things are arbitraries.
In one season for example, I wanted to stay in the same league with a reserve team and I set my 2nd GK to kick the corners and fouls.
He wasn't good at F-K but he had some assists from C-K.
After all, it's a simple game , doesn't need so much analysis but I like it this way.
The strong point is the "human" factor (like the stories of my thread about the manipulation of CH.L., you know )
What are you talking about? Part of your reply does not make any sense to what I posted. Did you read only a part of it? There are indications in this game concerning footedness; it is up to you to find out. If you can't or you didn't, especially after playing this game so much for such a long time, then your loss. There is nothing wrong in what I posted.
can you share some about footedness and C-K ?Quote:

I agree with those who say right footed or left doesn't mean much in this game ,, you just need to choose the player with high crossing skills and then wish good luck
Some are in the comments. You already noticed one of them (this was for free-kicks). There are others too (for example, corners).
Some are visible in the 2-D highlights also. Observe and you will see.
I have said so many important things directly or indirectly, based on many observations, in several threads. This is called the scientific way of doing things; experiment, take observations and make deductions. Yet, some users, including some so called 'experienced users' fail to see some things.

There aren't comments about feet and corners.Quote:

About F-K yes but probably random
Check this,

Someone from Nordeus said that it is up to the user to find out such things. They won't confirm things or give significant clues about those. The same applies for things like arrows and so on. Remember when you told me that putting an 2 arrows in one formation make this be the same as another formation, and what I told you? Yet, I'm sure you still don't see it this way. Don't you think that if it was only a matter of arrows, then why do other formations exist? There is a difference between a red-arrowed MR and a neutral AMR. The same applies for the other positions. If you still can't see why, look more. If you still don't see, it is ok. Not all people are on the same level. You helped me, and I returned you the favour by telling you something that you did not know. Do you think that I would tell you such a thing if I was not sure about it? If ever I say something that I am not sure about, I will use words like probably, maybe and so on. So, if a user don't know when such words are used and why, that is his problem, or maybe should I start doing some English classes here as well? Do you think that I want to mislead you or other users? I will never mislead someone though I might stay quiet on some things because not all things can be revealed to anyone. I made many conclusions about this game after a lot of observations; I shared many of them. I do not post the data part, but this does not mean that I don't have enough proof of some things or things like that. Users are free to believe in what they want, but if ever they are penalised for believing in something that is wrong or is bad, then they are responsible to some extent. One main problem in this world is that people tend to believe more in lies rather than in truth.
By the way, even people from Nordeus tell lies to users. I won't say who and who, and on what. But, I have noticed some things. So, do not always trust what comes out from them. Always take everything with a grain of salt.
There are, though they are not very evident. Observe, and you will find out about those that you did not notice. Why will I lie to you? Like I said above you helped me recently, and also you helped me in 2015 too when I started using your preferred formation - 4-5-1(V).
yes and I found out that footedness is random for F-K.Quote:

But don't change subject or speak general.
This thread is about footedness and corners and I 'm still waiting some indicator for this.
I have brought something else into here because it is related and also there is something in there that I want you to see. But, it seems that you still don't see it.
You can either wait or you can try to observe and see. :)
I have already told you there are for corners too. Don't wait for me to tell you what exactly it is. If I do things like that, then this game will become too easy, especially for some that already have other significant advantages compared to others.
About the randomness as such in this game, from my observations I can say that it does exist, but not to the extent what you think it is. Experiments can be done to eliminate the doubt of something occurring due to randomness or due to randomness mainly, be it in real life situations or in this game. So, you can start doing things the scientific way too (if you want).
ok, if someone else understand, please explain to me too.
Hahahaha.
You don't like Physical Sciences?
For sure, it is relatively tough, especially for those that don't have the proper way of thinking or don't have enough logic; even some experience is needed. I have done Sciences at college level and I'm now doing Chemistry at university level. Thermodynamics is in this course too; it is in the Physical Chemistry modules mainly. If someone takes his time to read and understand the concepts and so on, it is less tough. The problem these days is that everything is being rushed, including education, most probably due to the business side of it. I think that some BSc degrees should be at least 4-5 years instead of 3 years. As it is now, many students have to rush through things. This is not an appropriate way for learning new things, especially things that are relatively tough or are classified among the higher levels.
In my opinion, Chemistry is one of the toughest subjects.
Numerical chemistry is tough lol.
I like physics theroms and derivations.
Objective chemistry is easiest according to me.
Chemistry is difficult at university level; Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry are quit tough. Analytical and Environmental Chemistry are easier but still the level is high, especially in Y2 and Y3. This also depends on the University.
Indian unversities are toughest to study in world,eg NIT,IIT,IISM.
I don't know about Mauritius,
If foot matters in game then it will be great shock.
There are indications from the match highlights (comments and also 2D) that show that at least in some cases (for instance, free-kicks and corners, it might have an effect. This is not confirmed though. Like I said, the indications might just be there too fool the user just like some things seem to be in this game. So, for now, best for a user for the case of footedness and corners, is to experiment and use whatever works best for him. Many users here seem to be responding based on their own past experiences, not on scientific experimentation results.
So, my last comments here in this thread concerning this topic will be as follows.
To users concerned with this.
Use whatever you want due to whatever beliefs you have. If ever you did something wrong and get penalised for it, that is your problem. But don't come and say the game has trolled you or things like that when in fact it could be due to one or several mistakes you have made. For sure, there are situations that can be classified as 'trolling' or 'fixed' or things like that, but not of them as reported here on this forum are as such. I have seen some possible mistakes (tactical mistakes) made by users from their images they have posted on this forum concerning 'trolling'. Of course, this does not mean what happen in those cases are necessary due to only the particular mistakes that can be seen; this game is different to other football management simulation games and also different to how things work in real life. There are a lot of things involved when an outcome of a match has to be decided, including some non-appropriate things.
I have posted many important things here on this forum, and yet many users failed to see them like they should or in fact they don't see some things because they are too stubborn or 'blind'. It is their loss. Maybe they should be awarded the 'Ram' achievement. Some users will only see what they want to see; they will only believe in what they want to believe.
From now on, I will avoid posting in such threads. I think that it has been a waste of time and effort to make some users see things like they are in this game.
Also, like I have said, in this world people tend to believe more easily in lies than in the truth.
As this thread is getting out of topic, did you see the first part ?
me either, too stupid.

Now they 're back .
I was for some period away from the forum, I came back and find them both back, keep talking and trolling everywhere.
Heeelp
no sense of humor
:(
just didQuote:
I am back! Cmmon greet me
What ?Quote:
Ban him he is really bad.
You 're trolling this guy's post - he only asked a question, how to choose the players for the corners and you started talking about Chemistry and Universities
and ban me ?
That's logic
My thinking was not bad man xD
I don't consideer you too bad person to plan something bad, really.
Just you have a curious way to post, that is different, and thats not something bad.
As me, and as i always said, when one post in a way, polarizes the people, I know it and you should think in it, in this factor.
Then I too, knowing this, use it to play. Polarize people means some are more near your idea, and some more far away, but all is more nice if you are conscient of that.
Psichollogy is all. For me as said, I did not think in a bad way, don't see you trying something bad, just maybe some people don't understand your viewpoint or intention :)
About the thread question, no. No matter the leg as the game have enough things to take into account to do the simulation... (I did a list... I think is in the FAQ I did in the spanish forum...) so if affect?... how can affect...¿? 2%... then, as I mentioned in the thread... there are the skills, internal side, morale, condition, and many more things I wrote... is like the captain... somethimes one think that affect in some way but, my opinion is that is simply a imagination effect.
As I always defended, when season start, one have to test and fing 1 man for the corners, 1 man. Because the game is made to make ou manage and manage is = find the betetr options, and theres one that usually is clearly better in corners, and 1 in fouls inside the team. This can change suddely if you add a new player in the team or, for natural reasons so you have to search again if the 1st started failing.
This game is not so paranoid, is very lineal in the way that players plaay,,, so, players keep the line all the carreer if you keep their level in contribution terms.
At least this is my experience after 44 seasons.
Why he always make fun of me?
He is very smart is harrasment.
I don't want to show my bad side as I am younger than you.I respect you but I don't worship you.
@khris will you ban him?
