Day 4 - Palace Casuals report.
Youth Academy graduation day, and the Management didn't even bother with sign and sell the 0T product.
The Transfer Market is a bust, too. Any 5* players thereon are old has-beens, 175/176Q. I'd take a punt on an elder statesman if the Quality was good (179, even a 178 if he had an SA), but other managers obviously believe there's a market for their low-Q cast-offs...
First up for the Casuals today was a Cup Qualifying Round 1st Leg match at home, with an 0.2Q advantage over their opponents. Left winger Angelo Musto bagged a brace and striker Jack Auger added a third goal as the Casuals kept a clean sheet and take a 3-goal advantage into the 2nd Leg. On-form right-winger Maarten Wiegman became the first Casuals injury casualty this season.
Today's League match was at home against a team with identical Starting XI Quality. Full house in the stadium, Management and one supporter present = 15% home possession advantage; 4-5-1V with usual orders against 4-4-2 Classic. Assistant Manager comment 'it wasn't our day' means 'no matter what you do, you won't affect the result...'
