Day 9 - Palace teams League report.
Palace Casuals played at home against 13th place, probably the first time this season that they have had a significant Quality advantage over an opponent. Angelo Musto opened the scoring with 20 minutes on the clock, and Nikolay Levterov doubled the lead four minutes later. The second half, though, belonged to Jack Auger, his brace bracketing a penalty consolation goal for the visitors in a 4-1 win. Casuals pull away at the top, taunting the rest of the League, 'catch us if you can' (and they probably will...)
Palace Terriers played away against their 11th placed opponents and boosted their goal difference with a 6-0 win against a poor team. With several second string players in the Starting XI, Terriers were at the home side from the off, Samir Gross netting the first goal 5 minutes into the match. Esneider Gil then added the first of his brace, Gross adding three more goals before the final whistle, to take a significant lead over his rival in the Terriers Highest Scorer competition.
