Ghost Goal

I've just benefitted from a ghost goal which gave me a 2-1 win away. I'm top of the League, playing 3rd place. I go 1-0 up then he equalises in 85th minute. I see the confirmation that I've drawn 1-1 at the end.

But wait..... I am back on my home page showing 1-2 win for me. A quick check of the game stats confirms I got a second goal in 70th minute. The League table also confirms this.

First time I've benefitted like this. It once happened against me. The other Manager attended so I wonder if he saw 1-1 or 1-2.

I'm not complaining.

Sometimes your Top Eleven app can slightly lose connection with the server, and some events the server is sending may not be properly collected, so they don't show up in your live match at that moment.

This is what probably happened to you on that match: when the server sent you the 2nd goal event, your Top Eleven app was "disconnected" and you didn't see it. The other Manager probably saw the 1-2 straight away as it happend.

Well I got another too. I was managing my club's match in a Cup and it was 1-1 draw, then when I reopened the app, the result was 2-1!?

This is what probably happened to you on that match: when the server sent you the 2nd goal event, your Top Eleven app was "disconnected" and you didn't see it. The other Manager probably saw the 1-2 straight away as it happend.

This is implausible at best. Every day I have disconnection issues even though I have good 4G or broadband coverage. Yet I have experienced similar "ghost goals". Not good enough for people at Nordeus to claim this is perfectly normal and simply a disconnection issue when clearly it isn't

I got a goal scored once I didn't see in FA, made a change, noticed it took like 2 sec for the game to save the change, during that stint I see on my other account that this account made it like 3-1, but on the screen it was still 2-1. Then the other guy came back and made it 2-2 and I thought I was screwed, but got the win 3-2.

Got screen shots somewhere of one screen saying its 3-2 and the other its 2-2, looks pretty funny. Fortunately it don't happen that often.

The same thing just happened to me in the Cup. I drawed 1-1 against Cerberus.
But now it says 2-1... This is more than phanthom pain!

For me its like 1 ghost goal every 10 games I watched .
One example at live games 60th min, the score is 1-1, then suddenly it was 2-1 with the ghost goal scored at 45th min, lol
The goal travelled back in time.

A ghost goal cost me a League title once. Very annoying when it happens.
