Ghost Goal

I've just benefitted from a ghost goal which gave me a 2-1 win away. I'm top of the League, playing 3rd place. I go 1-0 up then he equalises in 85th minute. I see the confirmation that I've drawn 1-1 at the end.

But wait..... I am back on my home page showing 1-2 win for me. A quick check of the game stats confirms I got a second goal in 70th minute. The League table also confirms this.

First time I've benefitted like this. It once happened against me. The other Manager attended so I wonder if he saw 1-1 or 1-2.

I'm not complaining.

Sometimes your Top Eleven app can slightly lose connection with the server, and some events the server is sending may not be properly collected, so they don't show up in your live match at that moment.

This is what probably happened to you on that match: when the server sent you the 2nd goal event, your Top Eleven app was "disconnected" and you didn't see it. The other Manager probably saw the 1-2 straight away as it happend.

This is implausible at best. Every day I have disconnection issues even though I have good 4G or broadband coverage. Yet I have experienced similar "ghost goals". Not good enough for people at Nordeus to claim this is perfectly normal and simply a disconnection issue when clearly it isn't
