the arrow is just an indication where your team is attacking.
nothing influence the game thats what i know.

The arrow shows in which way YOUR TEAM is playing its there cause the animation tends to be a bit messy

It is not as obvious to many here because you can only see that arrow when watching on the computer. I don't see it on my tablet or phone

attack direction of your team or the team you are supporting, nothing else
