Whats wrong with my team?

Hey there everyone!

I'm just wondering how does this game works...

I would be very gatheful if someone could explain me... The thing is that my team is very expesive now (almost 100M on lvl 4) , i'm buying the most expensive players. I've heard that the more expensive they are, they train better and faster. and also when i'm buying them, im watching their statistics. Usually buying players who had a 8-9-10 statistics in previous matches. but i can't understand why, when they get to my team, they start to play like monkeys... Yes, they train fast, and they are expensive and with good quality, but i can't score much even when i'm playing with opponents who are much weaker. not even talking about the matches when the opponent is stronger... I have a very expensive AML\ST (11M at lvl 4) with good stats. but he isn't scoring at all and playing on 7 average. But when i buyed him, he had only 9 and 10 statistics in all hes last matces. my high quality defenders often play on 5... Before aech match i'm choosing the counter formations to beat opponents team but still it doesent work in 50% matches. What am i doing wrong?

It depends of many factors
I've figured out than my best players performing best against stronger team, so against weaker ttam i try to substitute some of them by weakest players

well the one wich costs 11M was bought for tokens... but others are around 6M for each. And i bought them on auction

your formation ?? and sometime, new player need some time to play in your formation or sometime they are totally not fit in your team ~ try play several friendly against very weak team to see how your player perform.... like... if you AML can't even score against 1 star team in a row.... surely, i think he is not fitting in your team...( and even same position, they perform different, last 7 season, my top AML score average 1 per game, i sold him this season (age 29), and got my new AML, he score less then 1 per game even both are the same star )

Well i use diffirent formations. as i said, before each match i look what formation does the opponent have and then im trying to counter him with any counter formation. Talking about my AML. today i had a match with a team who was 92% quality, and my team is 105%, he played on 10... and i won 6-0. but sometimes when i really need to win, my team starts to play awful, players play on 5/6. fiew days ago i played against same quality team, and i totally lost. although i used a counter formation to he's tactics. All defenders where playing on 5. Atackers on 6...

Talking about my AML. today i had a match with a team who was 92% quality, and my team is 105%, he played on 10... and i won 6-0. but sometimes when i really need to win, my team starts to play awful, players play on 5/6. fiew days ago i played against same quality team, and i totally lost. although i used a counter formation to he's tactics. well.... to say the truth.... i only used 1 formation since season 2.... and now is my 16 season, i won all league since season 3 and get into CL final 13 or 14 times (and only lost 2 times in CL final) ... I didn't change my formation to train my players....(the only 2 times i used different formation was in CUP last season...which i was against 4 LV above me ... which no way to win(used to...but just want to try something new)....so i use DR, DC, DC, DL , DMC, DMC, MC, AML, AMR & ST to see if i can hold a hop....LOL ) other than that... I don't care i am facing 4-5-1 V shape ~ 4-4-2 classic, 4-1-4-1 or 4-1-2-1-2 diamond or what ever, i use same formation and same tactics.... so.... i think if the player is stable and perform well in one formation, they can face what ever formation~

and talking about the Q...105% to 92%...there is actually no different in between at all... and last 2 week, my team was doing really bad in away game.... hard to score in away game..., i used to have that period every season, but not that long period for 2 week.....so...get used to it and test a way to get over it....

also, if you really want to win a close game... try to boost up the winning $$ for the player...they might perform a little better (even T11 said there is nothing effect)

Players could have been from a lower manager level where their skills were inflated more than in your league.

Alright...let me tell u something...fast trainers are only useful to increase ur teams quality.....if u want them to perform ...u just have to keep them for atleast 2 seasons.....

Fast trainers rarely perform in their first 2 seasons.........but if u keep them long enough...they perform like crazy....

Next thing is...at level 4...fast trainers are around 8 million.....so there's that!!!!

And one other thing.....just make sure u play the right formations and tactics...if a player isn't playing well by half time just replace him...and try to get a free kick and corner specialist as teams often get more than 2 free kicks and corner kicks each game......

Talking about formations, well i usually use this forum to choose the formation and also the counter formation tab. i have 3 free kick specialists and 1 corner specialist. last season they scored a lot from free kicks, but in this season most free kicks are gitting caught by the opponents goalkeepers
