Team Quality v Starting XI Quality.

I read many posts on here about how teams compare and how they are better, and should win. But how many bother to work out the TRUE difference in each team's quality?

Take me for example. Tonight I have a cup match against an "inferior" team. My team quality is 62.3 while hers is 59.9, which shows I should have a slight advantage. However, her average is based on a squad that has very low quality reserves.

If you take the 11 best players from each of our teams, it makes completely different result. My starting XI is 65.0, while hers is 65.27. So what I am saying is, don't always base your assumptions on team quality, just on the overall squad figures.

i never bother checking the team average - only those players who will start

I always do that..
I actually have a game today against someone with 45 quality, first 11 quality is around 51.. mine's 47-48, better start praying.

Team quality or even start 11 quality don't make a winning team. look at his form, standings, and trophy room. If he's doing well good luck beating him with a better quality squad.
