Almost as bad as "cheating" token buyers!

Sorry still laughing at that thread about the cheating token buyers. On that subject, there is a major difference between cheating and unfair. I think it is unfair to be placed in a league full of token buyers if you are not a token buyer.

What pi$$es me off more than anything in this game are the noobs who bid several times EVERY round.

I am trying to determine if they are just absolutely RETARDED and dont know the rules properly (or dont care to)...OR...they have too many tokens and too much money and feel the need to waste it needlessly.

I have bought some tokens but dont consider myself a real token buyer. I want to reach through the screen and choke the living $hit out of the little punks who drive up the salary/price of the players I want. You know what I mean...you can tell the manager is a tw@t that has more money than brains, but all you can do is win the auction just to spite the b@stard.

I will spend extra tokens just to beat little $hits like this. I think sometimes it is more fun that the game. Just sayin....

Well, that's the eternal story of money talkers : MCFC, PSG, Malaga, CFC, RM, they all suck like hell and have no story :p

I have to agree. But the fact is that mostly of them are kids, and don't know what they're doing.

i know token buyers bidding more time in the same round , is to intimidate the other to leave the auction faster since is showing he can use a lot of tokens ...

cracicot i don`t know why the hell they run over round 15 in auctions ... i stop now at round 5~6 ... even if i have a lot of tokens are many more players on auction , and is much better to bid in the morning !

If it weren't for token buyers you wouldn't even be on this forum complaining about this game, the game wouldn't exist, you're one of those people that everyone hates, don't blame the buyer because they keep the game running, stop moaning and get a job.

lol calm down dude, it was sarcasm, just try to understand it. I just said that teams like PSG, malaga and MCFC have no history and that's true. Do people know PSG? no they don't. Manchester City was in third english league when Sheikh Mansour bought the club. And Malaga... same as PSG, Al thani family bought the club and players, and left the club when results were not enough. So watch your back PSG...

About this topic : i saw a lot of dumb guys who put a lot of tokens in the first round. I never panik because this is just bluff.

And just to be clear : we can have a very nice team without buying any token.

If I were you I would quit the game. You are a few bricks short of a load.

1) I dont say I hate token buyers, I just think that Nordeus should form leagues of token buyers and non-token buyers separately so there is more parity.
2) I am not a token buyer but have been known to buy the occasional token here and there. I dont fill my team with scouts or power train my players until they are world class. I have better uses for my real money.

And I think you give token buyers too much credit, saying there would not be a game without them. I see many free games that dont require the input of $$$ to play. Someone will always come up with a free game, better or worse.

Stop moaning and get a job?? How about you get a life and/or girlfriend? Then maybe you wont spend so much time trolling wasting everyones time responding to your ignorance.

The way I see it on the token buyers vs non-token buyers is...

If your a non-token buyer and you don't want to compete against the token buyers in the same league and competitions, then Top Eleven is not the game for you, Nordeus will never treat token buyers and non-token buyers separately and put all token buyers in the same leagues together... Why? because that defeats the object of buying tokens.

I`m in my 7th season and not bought tokens, i`m just savvie when it come to transfers and with a decent squad top of league 12 games 12 wins ave age 20.3 and i have 237 tokens saved but with so many am i going to mad in transfer market, like hell, does that make me a cheat if there`s a player really need so i out bid other players LIKE HELL DOES IT.

This is the problem...I actually use my brain to think of these things outside the box. It is the close-minded people such as yourself who cant see this game progressing into something better for both token buyers and non-token buyers.

As a programmer, I understand the complications of such a move for Nordeus and know it is possible.
But Nordeus only cares about the $$$. Nothing wrong with that.

It would be so easy to split into 2 websites, one token, one non-token. Anyone can play in both, but the competitions would be much more fair as token buyers only play token buyers.

At the end of the day, the token-buying league would support both websites. AND the harder competitions would be in the non-token league because you would have to actually manage your team without buying tokens.

I think my idea is better for everyone.

So open your mind and use it. It doesnt take much to see the benefits of such an idea.

As you said earlier - you have bought tokens before. So you'd be in the token buyers league, getting hammered every game by people spending $50 a month or whatever. Sounds like that'd be fun for you.

The token buyer league supports the costs of the non token buyer league, why wouldn't Nordeus then ditch the non token league to save costs and make more money? That would leave us, well, what we have now.

The idea may have merits for the player (so long as they have never bought a token) but is surely unsustainable from a business point of view.

Whether they can afford it or not is immaterial, they can afford to host a website to raise money for orphaned badgers but doesn't mean that's a sound business decision. If now you're saying that they could have the non-token one still at profit without the other, then maybe they could, but again - if it makes less (and it would) why would they? ALL online games are paying games and they are dedicated to the buying and non-buying managers so they can all have fun in their terms. |For the non-buying managers, there are so many places where you can get tokens for free just look around. As for the paying managers, it's their money and they can do whatever they think it's k for them to have fun. I am a paying manager and I spend around 20-30$ for 2 seasons so yeah I am having fun and I know NOTHING is free in this world. If you can understand that, great, if not, then you should be looking at games like Fifa manager and NEVER pay other than the initial cost of purchasing the game! All managers can make it in this game, money will not necessary bring you any more success if you don't take care of your teams, have great tactics etc.

It addresses the inequality and just plain unfairness in this game.

And whether they can afford it or not is an excellent point. They can easily afford it. Why would they do something like this? To appeal to an ever growing fanbase unsatisfied by the obvious disparity between thousands of teams if not more.

Do you really find it so outlandish that a non-token league is started? Why would they do that you ask? The competition would be more fair in every way. Managers would have to buy and spend on a set budget. there would be fair cup competitions. LESS Whinging.

At the end of the day, I think it would be a better league overall than any paid league where more money buys more chances of winning.

THAT my friend, is a very valid idea. Do I think Nordeus was do this based on the capitalist agenda every company worships? No. Would I support a company who comes up with a competitor league that offers this type of competition? Hell yes.

Would I still play Top11? Yes, but i wont put any more tokens in. At this point I would say I have put $30 in 2 seasons as I have bought one scout per season. I just cant justify putting hundreds of $$$ into this game. Kudos to those who can. i just wish they were in a different league than me so things could be a bit more fair.

I would hazard a guess that most of the people that oppose this idea are token buyers. I expect as much. The mentality of "ïf you cant afford it, dont play" is just so ignorant.

Whilst I entirely understand why you think it is a good idea, I just don't see how Nordeus could justify it financially - Additional support of non spenders is hard to prioritise and the risk of spenders stopping spending is too great (as others have said, why would you spend to only have the same chance as if you chose not to spend?)

Forget Nordeus and their financial situation: they make millions on this game don't you worry about this :) A 2 league will be interesting but I prefer only one as this is rewarding for a non-paying manager when he beats a token buyer :) There is enought place for everyone as well as everyone is entitled to his ideas.

Indeed, it is great when a non-paying manager beats a token buyer. I love that. BUT it is a bit $hitty when the only team in your league is a token-addict and has 20 world class players, kicking everyone's ass 10-0. Great, so the rest of the teams play for 2nd place, which is not fun knowing you can never win 1st. Believe me, im hoping someone can beat him, but even I lost 4-0 and im 2nd in the league.

I have beaten scout teams before I started investing. I even prevented one scout buyer from progressing past the group stages of the CL. So you see, it's more than possible to beat them and even troll them around

I'm not saying its impossible to beat scout teams. I'm saying its a tough gig and not always successful. This is a game of probabilities, numbers and odds. This is not real life where the whole team gets food poisoning and loses the game because of it. This is a game engine where they input numbers and another number comes out which translates into a game result. When one team in your league is 37 Quality and the next best team is 24Q(me), it is unlikely this manager will lose many games. At level 3, the token buyers can really skew the results. At higher levels, I assume the number of token managers are more numerous and results such as this are less obvious.

Anyways, I could always give in, spend $200 and get the best team, but im still relying on other people to get results against this manager. In other words, its a bit too late. AND i'm not spending that kind of $$$ on this game. I would rather get a rub'n'tizzug. :cool:
