A little bit of history about the year 1986...

This year was played the XIIIth edition of the World Cup, with Mexico as a organizer country for 2nd time in it's history.

This edition is one of the most known, because Maradona scored his most famous goal in the QF round against England, the goal called "the hand of god" and thank's to this goal Argentina won 2-1 and converted Diego Armando Maradona in one of the best players of our history after win the final for a 3-2 against the Germany that had Franz Beckenbauer as coach and Rummenigge, that scored in the final as a player..

The top scorer of this World Cup was Gary Lineker, from England with 6 goals, Maradona scored 5 as the Spanish Emilio Butragueño and the Brazilian Careca.

Not sure yet, have to figure out what's working and not working.

Mostly the same players as last season, w/ the opportunity for a couple players to break into the new starting lineup

Will you do some sort of experiment?
Nope. I'm pretty by the book, I have a system and stick to it. I don't always use the same tactic or orders, but there is a general belief about what works, and I don't deter from that plan.

How's your strategy for the Auctions? Play it safe? Go all out in Bidding war tossing more than 50T?
I'm not real active on auction usually. I usually keep my players for several seasons, so turnover is low. When bidding I target players based upon height and dominant foot. I don't care about quality, since I can use rests to change the quality, but can't change the dominant foot or height of a player.

Powerhouse or Underdog?
108.5% to start the new season. So fairly strong.

Is there a reason for the extended 'daily maintenance' right now? Its been ongoing for almost 1.5 hours right now.

Vaguely remember someone saying the dominant foot was only cosmetic (this was something i wondered as well)
