League D 0-0: My team draw a game in a no score draw in a top of the table clash, Ideally, If I was looking to win the league this season, I would of needed to win this game and returned to first place in the league, But both sides were goal shy and cancelled each other out. Its 2 points between 1st-5th and the league is looking quite tight.

Edit: 2 points 1st-4th: One on my rivals unexpectedly just lost at home.

Cup W 6-0: Played an away game against a side thats only 1 level below my club so it was the first of the "serious" of cup clashes. My side had the quality to win easy and possibly made its best performance this season so far.

A lot better than my league table at the moment - I'm in 4th.

Tomorrow is a very tough match,playing against a fourth standing and he has a strong team...we'll see

I'm losing points due to a large amount of injuries in my squad. Today I got 3 injuries in my league match and 1 injury in my Cup match. Currently 7 players are injured (3 of my 4 strikers) and I have to play in the weirdest formations. The positive is that if I want to substitute during matches, the choice isn't very hard (with 3 fieldplayers and 1 goalkeeper left.)

So predictable!.
Just like last season, undefeated until the first round of the cup KO away, quality 27 v 17, 1-0, gotta love the game engine.
Counter formation was correct and game orders perfect his 1* defenders blocked everything I threw at them, sometimes you just have to accept the game engine will beat you no matter what you do, his strikers never got a sniff, every shot was from distance and not one free kick given in the whole game.
Shame as I had 21 straight wins, oh well we take the positives and start again.

Good cup win today, away to a manager 1 level higher than me (4-0). Then lost a home league match (2-3), to my friend who was six places below me. (sigh).
