Got it!!
In a +1 Champions League.

Funny enough, 3 teams that reached the semis were from level 13 only Fugle FC was lvl 14.
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...424872f4ee.jpg
Cup was lost 2:3 with a strong 14lvl team which I beat in the same season's ChL 3:0 twice 😉
League is lost to an asso loan exploiter who has 150+ team...
All in all, it was a good season with good views for the upcoming one ☺

We had a really good day:
We started early at league: fantastic 6:0 victory, 3 goals by da Silva, 2 by Costa, 1 by Kraxner.
Our chinese-rival struggled against last place - he won only 4:0, so we are 15 goals ahead for the last game.
CL... the team was on fire: 4 goals by da Silva, 1 by Costa, 1 by Kraxner.
Second trophy this season is ours.

AT FA, we (FA) got trolled hard by Nordeus:
1.leg: 3 of our members played much better, stats were really good, but we made 0 points, lost all 3 games. Their efficiency were unbelievable amazing (70-100% - all 6 teams). We won 3 games, so it was 9:9.
2.leg: 3 of our members made really good games... but 2 games, we got trolled again. 1. game: SoT: 10:8, Saves: 5:1, result: 0:3...
2.game: our member was leading 2:0 (SoT: 7:1), suddenly a strike... 2:1. At 89', another strike... 2:2 (10:3 SoT, but only 1:2 saves...)
Finally, we went to final, but we misses 14 points... that's a lot for keeping platinum-division next season.
(my team won both games - 4:1 and 4:0 - they are in great shape.:o)
That Marco van Basten! So jealous!!!

There's Pueblo FC's first Treble. I was worried for this match against a +1 level with +11%Q, but the team must've been laughing by halftime.
Only disappointment is the Cup victory, a narrow 4:4 we won with a 5th goal in ET. Great win and a fun match, but it was a level 8 Cup competition (this was season 8). Looking back, though, I see we were in cup level 8 for season 5, then 9 and 10 in seasons six and seven. So it wasn't out biggest challenge, perhaps, but we crushed this season, and a lot of higher Q teams along the way.
Desert Rats FC have a busy three hours this evening, the Management putting out a squad of mainly players unlikely to feature in the CL Final starting XI for the penultimate League match of the season, away. The reserves did well, wingers Emerson de Alencar Arraes and Gary Cusack bracketing a goal from striker Matt Goggin, getting some match practice in. The home side scored a late consolation goal as the Rats ran out 3-1 winners.
The big match of the day is the presently starting Champions League Final, and the Management are looking at this with a certain amount of trepidation. Although the opposition is slightly poorer in quality, they did despatch a similarly rated team to the Rats in the Semi-Final, so the match shouldn't be a walkover. The big match preview is below, and for the first time this season, the Management have put a small win bonus on the match to give the players a bit of incentive.
Attachment 76851Attachment 76852
...and that, is the first Treble achieved by any of the teams that I have managed in T11!
Attachment 76853
Opposition manager didn't turn up, so the Rats added the 8% to their Quality advantage, and ruled the match.

Final League Game :
Pajajaran FC 0-7 Persebaya 2014
With nothing to lose, Alfian Himawan, Achmad Jufriyanto (scored once), and Rifai Fauzan (scored once) went wild during the game. Alfian, the Indonesian Vet, scored his 298th, 299th, and 300th goal in his 501st game with the club but the MOM award went to Fauzan, who looks likely to keep his place within the team.
Final Standings :
1st FC HOOLIGANS (Still lost only 1 game)
2nd Persebaya 2014
3rd Snow FC
4th SKA
Most Valuable Player this season :
Edo Titor Rumaropen
Among his teammates, Edo, who was a pure Striker when he came to the team, rose up to the challenges this season despite ups and downs. He is also one of the most preferred ST whenever I use 4-5-1 V or 3-6-1 Triangle.
Top Scorers :
Shinji Okazaki (19)
Cho Kwan-Myong (17)
Gareth Walker (12)
Edo Titor Rumaropen (10)
Sreng Hab (as a DF!) (10)
So later at night I have my last game in League. These are my season stats till now
Attachment 76880
Although still unbeaten I stopped in chl semi finals (2 draws) and even league is not secured (!!!) as I need one point in last game to be a winner.
And the game is really tricky
Attachment 76881
Well performed year, but very weird.
Considering that in cup final I managed to win against a 8* oppo in last minute, so it was a lucky close trophy, it could result in an almost unbeaten season with no title
Hope the double will be done
CL secured

Persebaya 2014 is rumoured to have signed a partnership with Hakurei United, a Gensokyo based team led by Reimu Hakurei. It is understood that this team is bringing a squad of Indonesia based players for their outside world endeavors.

Done, better luck next season
This season is ending, so it's time to do some considerations:
1) The new cup format is too easy. Cup was harder when it had 128 teams, was hard but simpler when it had 64 quality-equal teams, now it's simply too simple.
2) Nivea Men League is useful only for trebles. Group stage matches are hardly followed by anyone; and this extends also to knock-out phases. But, knowing there is no difference in winning Champions League and Nivea Men League except for money prizes, treble is given in both cases, it is better to drop down there and have an easier treble.
I start to see no point in this cup, I have played it 2 times (the inaugural edition when it was a must-have, and this edition in order to have more probability to do the treble that I did); maybe it is better to drop it.
3) It was really unfair to group together equal-quality teams even at Level 1. With my second team which was tanking for AC I found myself with teams doing the same tanking strategy.
Final report of the season
So, it was another mediocre season but still better than season 87. I won another undefeated league but this time with a 25-1-0 record instead of 26-0-0 which I had last season. I had no real competition though to be honest.
Attachment 76936
Attachment 76937
In the Champions League I was able to do better than last season, but a horrendous 1-5 first semi-final leg stopped my road to the final.
Attachment 76938
In the Cup I was eliminated early in the Round of 32 by the team that won the competition after all.

Attachment 76941
Last day is over... our chinese-rival made a really good 8:0, but we were 15 goals ahead, so we needed just 1:0 to win the league. We weren't on fire and won "only" 4:0.
So it is the closed league win in my career and the 7.triple. :o
Attachment 76942
I'm really happy about this season... we faced at every competition the same chinese tokenbuyer (I saw him often more than 50 rounds, highest I saw was 100 rounds...) and draw exploiter. After our first game (ended 0:0, where we played much better) he pushed is team around 13%... but: money doesn't win you titles, especially if you use only one formation. :D We made 3 wins, 3 draws - and 5 of the games, we played much better.
Attachment 76943
Because GK get no stats: Our "new" GK (signed mid last season) conceeded only 14 goals, made 2 time a clean sheet-streak of 10, played 45 games, made 33 clean sheets.
Another reason, why I'm really happy about this season: Costa played one of his weakest season, but da Silva showed, how well he plays. And my old guy Kraxner made a really good season. :o
Attachment 76944
So Desert Rats' League programme has finished, except for their final fixture, which was scheduled for 21:02GMT, all the others were in sequence from 15:31GMT. There were a few weird/unusual results, such as the bottom club (definitely tanking, has two GKs in the outfield every match) winning and the second place team, which has scored 7 goals in 4 out of the last 5 matches, drawing 1-1 against a mediocre mid-table team.
The Management are concerned this may spill over into the Rats' final match at home against 3rd place, the result of which needs to be at least a draw for the 'unbeaten season' achievement to activate...
Had a very poor season. Came 4th in my division. Level on points and GD with the guy in 3rd, but behind on head-to-head. Lost both games Vs him. Had a horrific 2nd half of the season, losing a whooping 14 points. Lost both games Vs stronger sides I did not watch of the final 5 games. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...b9b9e14c16.jpg
Final places in the division in pairs, apparently. And ah, my attackers lost their goal scoring mojo in the 2nd half as well. 6W1D3L in the final 10 games. But we live to rise again next season.
Was eliminated in the semifinals of the CL after eliminating the same guy (Platy) who came 3rd in the division who I was unable to defeat in both league fixtures in the QF. Defeated him away from home. Was really excited to record that win. Guy who topped the league (name in Arabic) made the CL final. Got beaten. Want more of this story? Well, Cosmos Kramers who came 2nd in the league defeated me in the CL final last season. [emoji52]
More? Cosmos Kramers won 37 of 39 points in the 2nd half of the season. Won all but 1 game. The 1 draw. Terrific! Lost the league anyway for the 3 games he lost in the 1st half which, incidentally, were the last 3 games of that half. Had his revenge though, waxing all 3 of us who defeated him in the 2nd half.
No trolling in my last season game, I won, so double (league+cup) and a well deserved unbeaten season.
Nicely done.
+ extra gift from asso, promotion to gold 1 achieved as well.

Desert Rats finished off their season in style, entertaining a 10,000 full-house to a celebration of their exceptional season with a 5-0 drubbing of the 3rd placed team. With some iffy results recorded in the other final round matches earlier in the day, the expectation of a Troll result ruining a perfect season pervaded the Management team, but the players had other ideas. 3-0 up after 17 minutes through midfielder Glenn Seynaeve, defender Osama Dawood (assist striker Julien Renard) and striker Emanuele Imbimbo, the team had their tails up all match, tearing apart the visitors defence at will, only to find a resolute 'keeper who was alert to most dangers. Four minutes after the break, striker Matt Goggin fired home a Seynaeve free-kick, and to complete the striker set, midfielder Mashoor Ibrahim assisted Renard to his goal. With victory secure, the team cruised through the rest of the match to a well-earned victory.
Season review:
Desert Rats FC had by far the most successful season of any team managed by the current Management, ending the season unbeaten, with three new trophies in the cabinet to celebrate. In the League, they finished top, having dropped only four points all season. In the Cup, they swept all before them until the Semi-Final, where two tight matches against an equal-rated, but well-supported side were carefully negotiated, leaving them clear to win the Final by a large margin. The Champions League was a relative minefield, a fairly easy Group stage was followed by a knockout stage populated by improving sides, but the Rats progressed carefully to an expected Final confrontation against the pre-competition favourites, only to find they had been defeated in the other Semi-Final, leaving an unexpectedly easy Final to win.

Last Post from me :
I really want to say thanks especially to talisman for his story esque posts that inspired me to do this since season 87. If he didn't come back to resurrect his Dessert Rats team and kept story-telling about his team, maybe I won't be doing these kind of posts. Anyway, see ya all on season 89! :D
