I had the most weird game of my career for CL earlier.
I was playing against a friend and captain of my association away and one of the FA's VC was supporting him...
I managed to get in front with a 0-2 scoreline but 2-2 was the final result.
Normally I would be pissed off about this result and how it got there. The thing is that it didn't annoy me this much vut at the same time it left me with some really mixed feelings.

I won my CL match 1-0 but I wasn't expecting a league game and it came out of knowhere so obviously my tired squad played and drew 1-1.

Desert Rats played their opening League match of the season, having just completed their latest seating expansion to their stadium this morning. 6,000 hardy souls saw the Rats triumph 3-0 with goals from DMC Justin Bailey in the first half, and two goals in a minute after the break from right-back and team Captain Rodrigo Gimenez (assist left-winger Gary Cusack), and new striker Julien Renard.

I'd suggest that since Cup matches are knockout you should use the best lineup possible. Unless the opponent is weaker of course.

Axd23 FC travelled to the Mener FC Stadium with only the 3 points of victory in mind.
The final 0-3 result doesn't tell the whole story as it came a lot harder than it looks like.
After an average game the score was 0-0 in the first half.
Substitutions and a change of formation transformed the league's leading team completely.
The entrance of more experienced players proved to be the key that decided the result. Fotis Kontoes, the captain and oldest player in the team, came off the bench and with his 2 assists unlocked Mener FC's tight defense, to ensure the victory.
Roman Radyukevich the young Russian goalkeeper was solid as a rock in the defense and with a 9 rating was the Man of the Match.

Next up for axd23 FC is the Cup's Round of 32 first leg against Odemis Bld. later this afternoon.
