    League :

    L.A.Galaxi FC 0-6 Persebaya 2014

I'm gonna show my sympathy for this one. This team is very strong and active and also had a very good start in my league with the record of 3 wins and 1 draw in the first 4 games.

But after winning 4-1 against SKA, their next results were like this :

Snow FC 5-0 L.A. Galaxi FC
L.A. Galaxi FC 2-2 SHAND FC (13th place)
    FC HOOLIGANS 6-0 Galaxi FC

TBH they could be one of the teams that can grab the title. But I didn't expect these heavy losses. In fact, we scored 5 goals in the space of the first 32 minutes alone and most of the goals are from open plays.

I expect them to bounce back sooner or later

Desert Rats FC faced a determined side in their Cup Round of 16 2nd Leg match at home this morning, the 1st leg having ended in a 1-1 draw. Having made a couple of cameo appearances in the preceding two matches, new defender Stefan Lazar was handed his full debut as the Management tried to field a defence which would match the opponents' midfield and forward lines for Quality. After an early exchange of bookings and free-kicks, the match settled down to a bit of an attack-fest, both sides looking for the break which would hopefully seal the tie. Lazar provided the home side's first bit of flair, collecting the ball near the halfway line and weaving his way through the visitors defence before sliding the ball past the 'keeper at close range to give the Rats the lead in the match and the aggregate score. Ten minutes later, the visitors lost one of their three defenders to a second yellow card, but this only spurred them to more effort to find an equaliser.

Into the second half, and the match was still in the balance until the 85th minute, when a second defender was shown a second yellow card, and the hosts scented blood. Gary Cusack made an unaccustomed run down the right wing and in the absence of any effective cover, fired into the net from just outside the box to make the match safe. Desert Rats win 2-0, and progress to the Quarter-Finals 3-1 on aggregate.

Now that the 1/3 of the season is almost over it's time for my report.

    League
The real question is, will I achieve ending the league without conceding?

    Champions League
So far so good in the CL competition as well. Unless something extreme happens I'll qualify in the 1st place.

    Cup
In the Cup I was eliminated early this season (Round of 32) because my opponent was a bit better than me and got lucky with a send-off and an immediate goal I conceded in the first leg.

We're doing fine so far, I think 1 league loss (a bit of a counter attack shock) and 2 draws overall. Need a win in Cup today to advance. My motivation is low, been missing a lot of ads most days, and no motivation to grab fresh players. Leading the league, which is pretty even quality.

Zach Tupy scored his 100th league goal. Many from FK, many from the field.

I have a few veterans, I think some players just hold up well and always have fairly high ratings. Tupy has played almost every match since day 1, I think missed 3 due to red cards total.

You can see his Q% is dropping, and topped out about 124% a free seasons ago. He's won many MoM, which helps his skill. Always same position, almost always same arrow. I think he's a "natural shooter" scoring and shooting well even after his offensive skills and creativity have dropped. I have another DL who I trained to be as similar as possible, not as consistent as Tupy, not as good a shooter, even when the skills for DL surpassed DR Tupy... Keep the good ones!!

A decisive home win sees us through on the back of a huge hattrick from cup standout Zach Clough.

His dribbling skills were on point as he took on two defenders for the first goal.
Too bad he couldn't find the bag IRL today .

Next up is a must win against the undefeated league leaders.

He must have been with you for about 7 seasons now and has an 87%. That's complete bonkers. The longest I have my best players is usually 4 seasons, by which time they are around 65%-70%.

He must be what you guys refer to as a nordgen, yes? [Nordgens are a myth to me. I reckon folks simply get uber-lucky sometimes and land young guys who earn massive points after every training and have labeled them nordgens.]

Holy ****s, guys. I just got dumped out of the cup by a vastly inferior side. A side I'm 40% better than. Defeated me 1-0 at their home, and I was greatly shaken, but classified it as a freak occurrence. I rotated the entire XI minus 2 fullbacks today, and only got a 1-1 draw at my home. HOW tf does that happen Top Eleven??? How? They're doing exceedingly well in their league too. M'****ers are 2nd with 6 wins and 1 draw. How does a 40% team do that?!

P.S: For the return leg, I promised my squad a 2.5M bonus, and played hard attacking with a 4-5-1. With 2 DMF just to ensure a fine balance. I don't even understand how they scored at all. They mostly have 2-star players.
