Special Ability: Worth it? And if so... when?

    So,

I bought a couple fast-trainers at the beginning of the season, it works amazingly great so far - two of them are 7*, others are 6*. But I've now begun to train SA on them so I can have all SA on my team. But is it really worth it?

I mean, as far as I understand (correct me if I'm wrong), an SA basically bumps some of the player's attributes by a whole star (20%) once a special set of conditions are met? Like crossing when taking a corner kick, etc.

My second question, is training pace for SA reduced the higher the player's stars? Cause if it does, it makes sense to train those when they are 3 stars, because it means stars affect training pace for SA, but having an SA won't affect gaining stars later. Am I correct?

Thanks for your thoughts in advance,
Wanna know if I should stop their SA training or just let it build up

In my experience, it depends on what youre training for.
Free kick and Defensive wall are the 2 Ive needed usually.
I used to conceed a lot of free kick goals.
Having a defender with Defensive Wall SA has helped immensely.
The others havent had too big an influence on the match.

yes, because first we do the training for a sa and then for quality.
The higher stars slow down the gaining.
Your 6*-7* gonna need the double greens to get sa.
    Try next season.

Ok I stopped all SA training - except for a 98% 18y/o who's learning the Free Kick, and a 7* super-super-fast trainer who's learning the Shadow Striker. Reason i didn't stop it yet is because he's 5/50 already (he's advancing really fast, i've just started it), and I'm curious for this SA. Should I stop it too though and let him climb to 8 stars instead?
