My Gamble to enter SL has failed. Now Persebaya faces an uphill battle againstelzira fc in the Round of 16
The recent away 2-1 victory against Superman Ck has lifted the team into 2nd place
Hakurei United's CL winning run hasn't been stopped yet. They will face American Team, God FC in the Round of 16
The Gensokyo team, which is dominated by Indonesian players, is now chasing Ang FC for the lead in the League, with Rizki Novriansyah being the best rated player so far
So far unbeaten this season in regular competition. 9-1-0 in the league with a 1 point lead, and perfect 5-0-0 in CL and 7-0-0 in cup. My AML (Sparta) leads the teams with 43 goals and 22 assists through 22 fixtures.
The association draw unfortunately is very bad. My association has a low 7* average, and there is an 8* association (before loans) in there. I can't be annoyed with nordeus however, since i'm the volume of high quality associations is small in number in the silver leagues, so it leaves me wondering: What happens when the pool for a specific range of quality has a smaller number of teams and that # is not divisible by 4? For example, 5 associations in the 140-150% range in Silver 1, 4 go into same draw, what happens to the 5th one? Is it fair to have 3 teams play each other every single weekend? Is it inevitably going to create a disproportionate number of unbalanced draws for those associations at highly quality, due to a smaller pool to pick from?
As for one of the other associations, i'm at a loss when I see players like this. Hmmm...Attachment 79264 That player belongs to the captain of a different association in this tourney, which will ultimately win 1st easily! I'm just at a loss trying to figure out how an 18 year old player can have 1% dribbling, crossing, shooting and finishing? Maybe i need to enroll myself in the Vietnamese School of Power-Training
His ratings are mostly 8's w/ a 7.8/7.9 average. I was thinking the 2* academy player as well, but i'm not sure. His other players are puzzling as well. I submitted a ticket to nordeus to investigate them, in case the players are getting this strong due to hacking.
Attachment 79265
I would think a 2* academy grad would still have some white stats like passing, dribbling or crossing/heading (depending upon primary position) above 21% when generated.
Maybe they aren't from his academy, but players bought in direct negotiations from lower level teams? So they are effectively negative stars to start? It doesn't look like we can do that by default... Bizarre... Seems like a waste and poor development.
Desert Rats FC played an early League match, away to 6th place, who were an improving side on the back of 6 straight wins, after losing the first four matches of the season. The Rats started with ST/AMR Emanuele Imbimbo deputising for the injured right-winger Patrick Tillmanns, and as if by telepathy, the team started passing down the left-wing through Kostadin Marinov by default. The left-winger had an eventful first half, earning the ire of the referee and his first yellow card of the season, but was saved from further embarrassment by the safe hands of 'keeper Kevin McKibben when the free-kick was taken. Five minutes before the break, Marinov put the visitors into the lead, and they didn't look back. In the second-half, the Management took pity on the unfortunate Imbimbo, who had been starved of ball all match and was patrolling the right-wing, his ratings falling all the time, his replacement being utility winger Emerson de Alencar Arraes. The team then started to use the right-wing, and de Alencar Arraes had some uncredited assistance with the two goals in three minutes that made the match safe for the Rats, striker Shaun Ruel registering a solo goal, and MoM Ireneusz Jezierski providing the final pass to fellow-midfielder Mukhtar Hassan. The final score of 3-0 keeps Desert Rats three points clear at the top. Thanks to madflo for the support.
The final Group match in the Champions League was treated as a bit of a party by Desert Rats, the team being through to the Knockout stage, top of the table by right. The Management took the opportunity to give some of the fringe players some match time, but the Rats proved dominant throughout. Emanuele Imbimbo was still out right in place of Patrick Tillmanns, Maximiliano Arcamone was starting at striker, and left-winger Gary Cusack was introduced in the second-half to give Kostadin Marinov a rest later in the the match. Marinov bagged his brace early on, scoring both in the first nine minutes' play, and Arcamone added a third goal with only 17 minutes on the clock, assisted by Imbimbo. Arcamone returned the favour for Imbimbo to get on the scoresheet after 33 minutes, before the visitors pulled one back courtesy of a free-kick conceded by Filip Andersson, who got a yellow card for his trouble. Andersson was replaced by Osama Dawood early in the second-half, then Imbimbo and Arcamone added the second goals to their doubles. The visitors got a consolation goal close to time, but the 6-2 win was proof of the hosts' depth of talent. Desert Rats now play the Runner-up in Group F in the Round of 16.

Maybe I am wrong, but I have an idea: player belongs to Team A- has 3 stars, had focus training, become a 7 or 8 stars player and then was sold to a +2 or +3 ... Level Manager, and that's it.

Topped the group against 3 +1 level favorite teams. Almost held a win in my last match with Alvaro, but gave up a FK for 1-1 draw. 3 points up in league, with another 10 point gap to 3rd place.
Won 1-4 in Cup, 0-3 winning at 25' so7-2 for us and semifinals round ahoy.
Asso semis! WE ARE IN FINALS! yupppyyeeeyyy :o

Champions league madness part 6. After 3 points in 5 matches which almost all were dominated the last chance in the sixth game was to get into the nivea cup. A win against the number 3 should be enough. So lets do this. Everything is good again. Quality is 5% higher but he is a level higher.
Game starts and his ML gets injured. Ok, not bad. 32th minute. Totally owning the other. 72% possession. Could this be the turnaround? My AMR makes 0-1. Could it really be the turnaround???? 33th minute 1-1. NO WHY? Why do I always step into that selffullfilling prophecy trap??? RNG, do you hate me that much? Ratings ok, possession ok, chances ok. Nothing wrong, so what is not working. Animation time. Good shot, but goalie saves.
52th minute, 2-1 for the advisary. 57th minute 3-1. Sigh. 6 shots and 4 on target, 3 kills. Me 11 shots and 5 on target, 1 kill. Not fair. Ratings from the defense are plummeting. Thank you Nordeus for putting me up against level higher teams. Brilliant punishment for playing well. Or is there a chance?
72nd minute, again my AMR breaks through and we score 3-2. Is it possible? Really, do I finally get some love from Nordeus. Come on, You put me up against a level higher teams, humor me. Next animation, 4-2. Ok, no humor, grrrrrr.
End score 4-2
Possession 32% vs 68%
Shots 12 vs 16
On target 8 vs 10
Saves 4 vs 2
Why am I even trying this season?
Home Guard FC had a late night League match yesterday, and two morning matches, thus clearing the rest of the day for the Rats' adventures in Associations and their normal matches.
In the League yesterday, Home Guard came up against one of the other human-managed teams, and showed little mercy. Juan Pablo Medina converted a Penalty in the 7th minute, and five minutes later, left-winger Samuel Njewel added another to put the home side 2-0 up. Right-winger Nick Gill bagged a brace either side of the break, then the strikers Brian Barrett and Supachai Sunthornpit added one each before the end to register a 6-0 win. With the other results in, a loss for second place now puts Home Guard eight points clear at the top.
Today the Cup Quarter-Final 2nd Leg was first, at home and with a 2-0 advantage from the 1st Leg. The match was level well into the second-half, in the 65th minute the two wingers combined, Samuel Njewel converting Nick Gill's cross to open the scoring. Njewel scored a second time with 10 minutes to go, a free-kick from Lewis Parkes near to the corner-flag on the left dropping invitingly in front of the left-winger, and he slammed the ball into the net past the 'keeper and covering defenders. Juan Pablo Medina added the third goal soon after as Home Guard ran out 3-0 winners, to progress to the Semi-Finals 5-0 on aggregate.
The League action was away at 13th place, a team certainly batting below average for their Quality. Again the match was goalless in to the second-half, when Samuel Njewel scored the first goal on the hour mark. Striker Supachai Sunthornpit bagged a late brace to give the visitors a 3-0 win. Second place again dropped points with a draw against 3rd, so the lead at the top of the League has now grown to 10 points.
Another midfielder injury today, meaning that there are now two MCs in the treatment centre, so the Management had to consult the Transfer Market again, and had to resort to a last-second snipe to get this high-Q 4* MC.

It was a good day. We started both FA-games and went to finals against "THE LIONS".
At Cup, we won 5:1, Costa scored 4 goals.
At league, we won against 4.place 5:0, Costa scored 3.
Incl. FA, Costa scored 12 goals... BUT... this amazing guy can't kick penalties... :p

The Rats find themselves five points clear at the top of the League as 2nd and 3rd fought their way to a 3-3 draw, and made their way into the Cup Semi-Finals as a formation switch from the 1st Leg proved just the job against a persistent opponent. Two good wins against a slightly better Quality opponent help their Assocation into the Final tomorrow.
As always, thanks for all the support, especially madflo and Niko.

Classic Eleven(formerly Golden Eaglets) still in all competitions while Soccer Machine(formerly Quiksilver Mafia) is fighting for the league and champions league. They both had narrow wins today in the champions league at the Home ground. Below is the league report

The Fixture Computer put Home Guard FC on early, meaning that The Management could concentrate on Desert Rats' four matches today. Playing at home against the bot team in 3rd place in the table, an early goal by Supachai Sunthornpit put the Guard on the road to victory. Samuel Njewel increased the lead on the half-hour, and Nick Gill sealed the 3-0 win with his goal 10 minutes from the final whistle. The only negative point was the injury to Juan Pablo Medina. At the mid-point of the League season, Home Guard are 10 points clear at the top of the table, and have a few players featuring in the Top Players tables.

T11 and Nordeus f*cks fair manager...
We made really good games against "THE LIONS", but we lost 12:18... of course not, because we played bad... no... we just got ****ed by the engine. Exploiter got prefered...
(1. and 2. pic, homeleg, stats were to us clearly
3. pic was to us slightly, 4.pic - you see)
Attachment 79348
My team made a homeleg 1:1, but... at halftime we had 5:0 SoT, keeper saved nothing. At the end, it was 7:5 SoT to me, one save by his keeper, 4 by mine. Kidding?
If you see 3. pic... it was slightly to us... At 2.leg, there was an evenly match, but our member lost, because opponent had 4 SoT, 2 goals, 0 save... while our member had 4 SoT, 1 goal, 2 save.
Very annoying, disappoiting and... not funny.
Halfway through the league season, still yet to concede a goal, hopefully can continue until Game 26 :)

Desert Rats FC summary report for today...
Attachment 79364
The Champions League match was an almost Troll, only a late goal by Patrick Tillmanns saved the day for the Rats. Perhaps better luck in the return Leg. Desert Rats four points in the Associations Final helped the Association to a resounding 32-2 win, and they have already amassed enough points to promote to Gold 3. In the League, the Rats are now eight points ahead at the top after a defeat for the 2nd place team today, and have players at the head of the Top Players lists.
Attachment 79365Attachment 79366
Most of the goals scored are shared among the usual suspects, the Management have previously not had such a prolific scorer as Patrick Tillmanns in their teams...

Season is going well as we hold a 1 point advantage atop the league, 3-0 agg. advantage in CL round of 16 and are in the semi-finals of the cup. I do miss the old cup draw, where if I had a really high quality team like I currently do, I was playing managers that were +2 or +3 levels in the cup. I usually didn't win the cup, but when I did it felt like a really good accomplishment.
In associations, we lost both in the final, but i'm proud of the boys for fighting hard. We came up against an impossible opponent, as all six had very impressive skews on their players. I was a 14% underdog against a team that had stats such as 500% speed, 300% shooting, 200% passing and so on, w/ several grey stats at low % values, some as low as 1%. Given that, I knew getting any points was going to be difficult, but was hopeful for a draw and the boys gave it their all. Ultimately, we lost the away leg 0-2, but controlled the match, with 58% possession and out-shot the opponent 21-9. My keeper has had a problem with leaking goals for several seasons now and unfortunately that trend continued. In the 2nd leg it was more of the same, as we had 61% possession, and outshot the opposition 21-16, but lost 2-3. It was scoreless at the half, but we fell behind 0-2, before scoring a pair to equalize before losing at the 87' minute. Overall the association lost 4-31, but it was blatantly obvious that something fishy was going on with the opposing associaiton, as i've shared in earlier posts and in the vent thread. We were underdogs by a margin of at least 13% in every single matchup, why I don't know. Could just be a bad draw, but I wouldn't be surprised if the opposing managers were using the personal trainer when they saw their opponents as well. It is what it is, and hanging tough with such a powerful opponent is something positive to take away from this matchup.
1st half of the season is gone and AC Milan is doing very well
1st place in the league, with 8 points ahead of 2nd,3rd and 4th place and still involved in the other competitions
The winning streak is at 74 and hopefully will keep growing

At the morning, the whole association management had a meeting about the contracts, which will expire after this season. I want to hold them all, but Association's board was very sceptical about Kraxner. They think, he is too old and his quality is too far from the rest. After an hour of discussion, they said, we'll keep him, if he'll perform well at the next match.
The main problem... we played vs a high defense opponent (3n-3w-2n-1-1) - this will be hard enough for us.
Later this day, after the last training, I talked to Kraxner "Association management think, you are to old for this team. I want to keep you. You made so many important games, assists and goals. I want you to retire at this club - if you want that too."
Spoiler
