Desert Rats FC played away at 4th place, and as in the reverse fixture earlier his season, a tough match it was. The home side scored first in the 6th minute, but the Rats came back, and eventually equalised through top-scorer Patrick Tillmanns. Maximiliano Arcamone put the visitors ahead five minutes into the second half, but the hosts were soon back level. With 14 minutes to go, Kostadin Marinov scored what would prove to be the winning goal, Desert Rats recording a 3-2 win. Thanks to madflo, Bunzo and two others for their support.

Desert Rats FC played their 'Get Out of Jail Free' card in their home League match today against the 4th place team, the Management making a daring formation and tactics change at half time, with the Rats 0-2 down and nothing working from the wings. DMC Filip Anderson, rating 5.1, was on the slate for substitution, but fired home from 25 yards out just as the Management's finger was hovering over the 'Save' button, and thus got a stay of execution. Patrick Tillmanns resumed normal service from 12 yards out to level the scores five minutes later, but despite much effort by both sides, neither could find a winner. So, 2-2 draw for Desert Rats, 2nd place lost to 7th place, and the Rats now have enough points advantage, and a much better goal difference, over their nearest challangers that they have one hand firmly on the Championship trophy.

No Cup for Desert Rats FC either, today, but they went down fighting, and only a couple of dodgy penalties really hurt them.
The opposition manager made a formation change just before kickoff, which the Rats Management were just able to counter before the three minute warning, meaning that starting XI Quality was equal. The opposition goalkeeper was taking all the set pieces and it is fervently wished that Nordeus would program the defensive hoof upfield into the empty net to counter this - the Rats had a couple of opportunities to do this during the second-half. The opposition opened the scoring with a direct free-kick from said 'keeper when Michal Kaczmerak transgressed, receiving a yellow card for his trouble and forcing him to walk the tightrope for the rest of the match. Osama Dawood chose the right moment to chalk up his first goal of the season when he went round the 'keeper after a (uncreditied) neat through ball from Kostadin Marinov to level the score. And 1-1 it stayed all through the second half and extra time, so a Penalty shootout followed. Garry Crawford missed and Marinov had his attempt saved before Bismark Carroll saved from his opposite number, but he couldn't repeat the trick with the last two shots, and Desert Rats lost 3-4.
Thanks to the vociferous (but not sexy) support from Bunzo, Niko, madflo, Cloverfield and another friend not on the forum - better luck next time.

@Gabez, from the stats it looks like he was being man-marked by the opposition MR (look at his rating and the resulting MoM). Not a comfort to you, I know, but looking in from the outside, it looks like your star player came up against an opponent playing as if his life depended on it, and came off worse...
After winning the cup, Desert Lions became demotivated (probably because of the cup rewards like the manager LOL).
In the first half the team was losing (strangely to a weak 4-3-3 team) 2-0. In the break time the manager switch formation from 4-3-2-1 to 4-2-3-1. Desert Lions became infected with "Real Madrid" syndrome and made a comeback 4-2

Home Guard FC took out their frustrations from the earlier Cup Final defeat on their hapless bot opponent in the League, winning 8-0 away. Hudson Mendes Ribero led the way with a hat-trick, Matias Rolando bagged a brace, and Samuel Njewel, Alban Haag and Nick Gill chipped in with singles. Long-neglected reserve 'keeper Gary Purkiss made his debut and acquitted himself well.
I Understand perfectly but! BUT! You are right until you see what have i done yesterday. My strategy is simple and effective (when i'm using, not using all the time but i have used it yesterday!) Simple, one of my direct swappable post (triple post AMs rotating if needed for example, triple-double post defenders rotating if needed etc.)getting and getting bad stat until he is sitting his starting position... AFTER i'm swapping them for hoping a better performance... and yesterday i watched them and used this little tactic :) So, i don't know but(predetermined results anyone?)... :)Quote:
