Not sure if anyone has noticed this:
Once you arrange a friendly with Mourinho FC, his team will have 7-8 players in GK position.
I am thinking that game takes cumulative quality of all those players for his GK, hence we cannot score against him.
Also, since all but 1 of those 7-8 players is a GK, he gets a possession penalty.
Hence, we see the possession stats as 70-30.
Not sure if these are bugs or intentional design to prevent his team from getting defeated

I have played 10-15 friendlies against Mou,today i scored my 1st goal against him lol
After 75 minutes I was winning 1-0,he had only 1 sot and I thought i can beat him....but i was wrong,3 shoots on target and 3 goals in the next 11 minutes and game over hahaha

This is so wrong in so many ways.

The worst thing is that nordeus dev is getting self-exposed indicating to us that small tweaks in the code can make a game "impossible" for one player.
Even if quality, tactics, formations etc etc are in favor of the player.

What we do not know if this is prefixed and put in there randomly but in purpose, or minor bugs sometimes result in outrageous results.

Nearly beat the ass of Mourinho.Just thought it was going my way.My team is better in all aspect we dominate the game to no logic his player have better rating.End on penalty shootout.

So, I'm one of those b******s that goes on tanking for seasons to help my association. This is my team, everyone of them has a SA, usually everything useful for defenders (wall or aerial), corner kick specialists, free kick specialists, shadow striker or one on one scorer.

I tried to beat Mourinho every season, several times since I started playing and I'm playing season 27, so make your calculation. My results: I still have to score a single goal!

So, my team appears to be much higher quality than his, right? Yes, but still I can't beat him.

I'm not posting my formation for each match because I tried one of every kind. Every usual 3-5-2 counter formation plus every possible combination, with 3 defenders or 4, with a DMC or without, with 5 MF or less, with 1, 2 or 3 ST. Nothing ever worked.

I tried going all out attack, defending and counter attacking, using wingers or centrals, using short passes or long ones. None of this worked.
I tried going with a superb preparation, still nothing.
I tried using a win bonus, nothing.
Combination of all the above. NOTHING.

I can get up to 80% possession, get every shot on target, but still Mou can score a single goal in his ONE AND ONLY action in the whole game. Sometimes after scoring one goal, after the 80' minute he just score at every shot. My free kick specialists who usually score like machine guns can never center a freaking shot. I have more corner kick specialists that suddenly become useless. Short or long passes, and players keep doing the same s**t when in the penalty area. My ST was once alone against the keeper, and guess what? He passes back to the winger!
After playing a whole game on his side of the pitch, when I see him playing on attack I can bet my balls on it, he will score!

So, what actually is needed to beat this s.o.b?

And just to keep questioning the actual engine of this game, I've played with this team in associations too of course, with superb preparation, counter formation and everything, but still sometimes, just occasionally, I struggle against teams that I've beaten before that are much worse quality than me.

Does quality actually matters in the end? Does preparation actually matters? Does countering a formation actually does anything at all? Does a combination of all the above actually matters? Results seems so random everytime, in associations you win 6-0 in the first game and lost 1-0 in the second one.
Today I've been booted out of the cup after I lost 2-3 against a much weaker opponent and watching the game. Nothing really matters.

I don't mean to complain about not winning because I did it so much and I just want to go to platinum and keep playing whatever happens, I'm questioning about what this game uses to generate the results.
If Mourinho goes well beyond everthing conceived to get a positive result, why should this change if there's a human playing? All we do is just buying players and change tactics that we don't know if the engine is actually taking count of. You are just there and give an extra kick to the possession bar while the opponent scores.

Chances are 1/100 mate. I tried every season with every team I experimented... no goals scored

I have 100% working method to easily (ok, it's easy for ultra-pro managers, like me) beat Mourinho. So you should:
1) Have a bad season

2) Have zero training bonus

3) Have not very great team

4) Join the match not earlier then 0:41.
