wow, anothere fail update and the forum is on fire again.
Did anyone encountered the same bugs as me after the updates? My squad tactics went to default level even though they were not supposed to be like this! They still went to default even i changed the tactics and saved them!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...f9b20b9329.jpg
Yep, I just checked and this happened to me too.
It's sad that we can't see the SA anymore on the transfer market is a big step back.
I think with this update nothing change in game only transfer list sistem, i hope that soon will be 3D game because last few update is sucks not any new in game match or grapich. Now you can't buy official with tokens only with money.
Bad idea to place the same player on transfer list every 4 minutes... Players should remain on transfer list until they are sold, or withdrawn from the list by managers... Btw, I wonder if my 3* player is seen as 3* on TL, or someone will see him as a 5*???
here we can see how you can easily get ****ed.
Here a player was on an auction and next bid was for 4T and some millions.
At the same time i pressed the bid, another manager flooded the system with continuous bids and grew the value from 3T to 24T as you can see in the pic... in just one sec!!!!
Bid sequence in pic is not edited is real!
My button was pressed so I came second and instead of having a 4T offer I gave a 25T offer lol.
Luckily one other manager wanted him badly, so I did not lose anything, but you can see how easily you can be ****ed up within a glimpse of an eye

How many people are going to create brand new level 1 google accounts for the 120 token starter pack, and proceed to spam the new transfer market?
This new transfer market is a terrible idea, nordeus!!!
^^^
That's pretty scary. Easy to imagine we'll have some Market Trolls who will try to do this to run up manager's bids just for fun.
Also realize the 10s count down will make it very hard to bid on more than 1 player in any cycle.
So far I have seen no one said YES to this update. Nordeus, why you still want to continue?
I think managers should mobilize to protest recent changes and demand rollback.
One thought doesn't want out of my brain:
This update is based on our feedback. Hm... no one likes that.
We gave a lot of feedback and ideas to Nordeus... but they don't care...
If Nordeus ever listened carefully to us, this update had to bring back alltime and season history, flags,...
Now... we know, old version was killed for THIS??
Hi fellow managers,
I have read most of the comments on the new auction system and I see virtually everyone hates it. I dont know. Probably you all will hate my opinion but I need to say: I LIKE THE CHANGES. I also need to say I dont understand many of the compaints I have read. I will try to explain why I like the new system.
1. Its quick. If you need to sell a player, you get a result in 4 minutes instead of waiting several hours. If you fail to sell, you will get next chance in 4 minutes. If you want to buy a player, and he is available, he is yours in 4 minutes. If he is not available, in 4 miutes you get another chance. I like the speed.
2. I think it will save me many tokens when buying. Before, I lost most tokens on lost auctions. I went to the auction, and after several rounds the price had already became too high, but I kept bidding however, because I wanted to prevent myself from loosing the tokens when I quit. At the end, I bought the player for much more tokens I intended at the beginning. And from time to time, I really had to quit and lost much more tokens for nothing. Now, I can set my limit for buying the player, and if the auction goes higher, I simply quit without any loss and try another player if few minutes. Much better for me.
3. I think there will be higher chance to sell. Maybe it depends on the server and level, but at my level (14) on my server I was not really able to sell players lately. I tried to sell two players before today and I kept failing to sell for 7 days (!!!). I lost my academy player because I was not able to make room for him in my squad. Today, I sold both during 5 attempts. Maybe your server at your levels are more busy and you always sold, but obviously it depended on the server. If the new system brings more consistency across the servers, I like it.
Many of you say its insane when lvl3 manager can bid against lvl40 manager. Why? I dont care who bids agains me at all. Whats the difference? What matters is the _number_ of people bidding, not their levels. If the new system shows there are tens managers bidding at each player, and at the end it will cost you i.e. 30 tokens to win each player, then yes, lets complaint. I am watching the current today auctions and most of the players, including the best ones, young ones, etc. are available for 1 token. Whats wrong with that, guys? Of course, lets see what happens at the beginning of the next season. But I believe there will still be chances to buy for low, without a risk of loosing tokens when quitting the auction. But lets wait and see.
Many of you ask "why the hell does the stupid Nordeus fix something it is not broken"? The fact you do not see something broken does not mean it really is not broken. You need to consider there are 150 millions of fellow players, different levels, different servers. I can imagine one more reason for the new system. There are many millions of TE users but most of them are low levels. I can imagine the higher level you are, the fewer players you compete with at the same level because people simply quit the game but noone can join the game at level 45 for instance. Logically, at the top levels there are only the managers who started many years ago and their number is continuously decreasing. If they can meet only the same level mgrs on their TM, it may be difficult for these top level managers to buy and sell, and their auction lists may be very limited, especially on some servers. Nordeus needs to deal with this situation somehow otherwise sooner or later the high-level managers on some servers may not be able to buy and sell at all. Cancelling the "same level auctions only" policy may be the response. I am not sure, just trying to think :)
There are many other points in the discussion I completely disagree with. For example:
- "Very few players appear on the auction(probably 15-20), and all the managers of the world are open to bid on them!" - Are you sure of it? Are you sure all 150 millions of T11 players worldwide see the same 15-20 players? I dont think so. There may be different lists.
- " players with 6* CANNOT be sold as they are 6* for managers at ALL levels and not eliglable for auction" - obviously incorrect. I sold 6 stars player today.
There are few complaints I fully agree with, for example the missing statistics (I also used them to decide whether I wanted the player). But as I said, in general I like the changes, I believe it will make the auctions quicker, it will give us more chances to buy and sell, it will work better across servers, it may also work better at high levels and at the end, I believe it will save us some tokens on lost auctions and on auctions where we buy for more than intended.
Dont you guys want to give the new system a chance and dont give it your "hates" until it really proves to be wrong?
(I am not an agent of Nordeus, believe me:) But dont hesitate to hate my post if you feel I am completely wrong.)
Santa
@ Santa, pls notice, I respect your opionen, but, I think, you don't want to see the problems:
1.) 4min waiting is... maybe a great idea, BUT... before the update, I checked market after server reset (0-2 hours... depended on how long my kids slept), if there was an interesting player, I put him to favorites and set alarm, to wake up or think of him.
Today... same like ever: ~1 hour after server reset, my boy woke up, checked the market... nothing, but wait, only 3 mins to go. Next round... another boring player... 5 times I refreshed the list for... YES... nothing. So, this costs me a lot more time than old system. And a lot more battery...
I needed a week to find my new ST, BUT... on time... it costs me... 5min.
You should know: I'm a manager. I stay a long time with my players (~10 seasons or more). I replace my players not like socks or underwear. A replacement will be well thought.
This update is just for the app hoppers, who need instand action. In this case... I fear the day, where all the manager gave the feedback for the 2-week-season. :(
2.) your first argument leads to the second. If you don't fear losing your token... your tokens are worthless. No one will care about tokens in a 4 min auction. Before... you saw a player and had enough time to think, if you need him. How many tokens to spend... That's managing. You knew the other bidders on the level, you knew, if one of the Tokenbuyer is there, don't waste more tokens, and so on.
Now... there are biddings like hell... I saw 30T gone for a 31 y.o. DC; I saw a 18 y.o. ML/AML gone for 67T... cause only one bidder lost his token...
3.) Sry, but if you are level 14 and "moan", you can't sell player at last week... it shows perfectly, for whom this update is.
And... we now have 25 slots... EVERY (good) manager knows, he get 4 youngster every season, so if you don't have a slot for this guys, it's just mismanaging.
This game was more than log in and play your daily game. It was a great managing game. Take a time and look to all the successful managers in this forum, and think about, what they all did, to become successful.
First impression of the new transfer market is a negative one. It is too soon to say that for the full 100% since I still need to try the market out. We will know the full effect in less then a week when the new season starts.
I agree with Santa about some stuff. In the netflixseries Iron Fist a saying is used that says "a frog in the well does not understand the sea". This could be something like that. It would however be nice if Nordeus actually explained something sometime. I still feel this game is too random, no control, everybody is getting good results, so maybe it is all scripted and we have no influence. Just feels like that and it is getting worse with the new update.
I hope Nordeus will take the comments of the players seriously and rethink certain stuff and finally start to explain the game. As in how much difference does a special ability make for example.
I think it's a hit and miss, mostly miss though.
- Auctions are faster, and that's good, but it can also be bad if you don't open the game frequently. You may miss a lot more good players now.
- Same goes for selling. Before you had to put your player in the transfer market, wait a few hours and get profit or try again. Now you have to retry every 4 minutes if you are not lucky. Faster money and faster selling without wasting hours of wait, but it's only matter of luck. Again you have to open the game more frequently. On a sidenote I sold a player for 97M and he got sold for 75M??
- Auctions can get expensive, but there are also a lot more tokens available than before. Association prizes and daily sponsorships made more tokens available for everyone. I thought it was great some time ago, but now, just like in real life, they get devaluated and you can just pour them everywhere :p
There are a lot more problems in the game that needs a urgent update and fix and this auction update wasn't really a must have. I'm seeing some ideas, but not well put together, it could have been better.
nordeus is controlling the market buying is going to be very expensive selling is going to be very cheap. Simply because nordeus is doing the buying and selling. Player you sell is bought by them. More bad then good.
My first impression of this new market was that it's bad. I went out and bid on some players yesterday anyways, expecting to burn several tokens. I've found that i've actually been able to fetch some really nice players for cheap cost if i've been able to stay discipline.
5* 19 year old DC/DR/DMR w/ aerial defender, 194 cm, either footed (2 tokens)
5* 18 year old AMC/MC 173 cm, right footed, fast trainer (1 token)
5* 18 year old AML/ML/MC, 192 cm, right footed (1 token)
5* 19 year old DL/DC/DR, 178 cm, left footed (1 token)
4* 18 year old DR/DMR/MR, 184 cm, right footed (1 token)
I understand it's the end of the season, and monitoring the transfer market after season reset hasn't been done yet. I've always been one to scour the market for gems in the last couple weeks of the season when activity was low, stash they for a couple seasons as the gray stat average dropped, then start power-training them. Turns out, despite my negative initially impression of this new market, i've actually benefited from it.
Definitely could miss more good players if now online frequently, but players like the one's I purchased above never appeared with the old transfer market. 2 of them I plan to keep around for awhile too!
Disclaimer: So this was supposed to be a lot shorter but... this is an extensive topic and I wanted to at least start from somewhere. I don't want you guys to think we're silent because we don't wanna talk to you or something. You your selves can see the incredible amount of posts in several threads on the vary same topic - The New Auction system.
Anyway, apologies for the wall of text. :( Hope you read it all.
Hey Everyone,
Thanks for keeping the discussion going on.
Well to be honest, I'm really sorry to see that a lot of you feel such disdain for the new Auction system. :(
It's completely different from what we were used to play with since... since the very beginning honestly. But here's the thing, yes, we did take all the feedback in to consideration. But don't think that the Forum is the only place where Top 11 is being discussed and from the only place from which we can gather feedback and ideas.
A majority here in the Forum didn't see the refund of Tokens as a positive nor the general idea of "Not paying anything unless I win the player". But at the support channel alone there have been tens of thousands of requests for tokens to not be deducted from the Manager's account unless he/she actually wins the auctioned player.
When it comes to Facebook and Twitter - the situation was the same.
Frankly it was the same with the Training system - Flocks of people requesting that the system be changed or expanded. We did it. We tried to figure out something more engaging for the players, more interesting. What if Top 11 is a mobile game? Should it not hail any form of complexity due to that?
And the Football Associations as well - Request such as "I wan't to group up with my IRL friends", "I wan't to be able to give out some of my players to friends for a time", "Add another competition!!1s2!", these are actual quotes from my personal reports, there were so many of these that we ultimately decided to do something about it, and add an extra module to the game basically that had all of this going on for it.
So, are there, and were there those who felt otherwise? Yes, not just in the community but here as well. Different people, different kicks as they say. Everyone has his/her own idea and vision of how Top 11 is to operate and what the general and/or specific design path of the game should be both short term and long term. There's nothing out of the ordinary here.
With that said though, I also get where all the concerns come from. The main culprit being the fact that the Auction system operates as an actual Auction now. The spoils go to the highest bidder.
The concern that there will be immense bidding wars is easy to creep in to one's mind but there's also the other thing - There is such a high turn-over rate to the players in the Auction now that if you don't feel like spending half of your tokens on a one single player, well... just bail out. Don't continue and wait for the list to reset with the next 15 players. In the end you will most likely lose more than several auctions but you'll also have won a few. Now you don't have to wait for several hours for your auction list to populate with the next batch of players only to lose a few, spend your tokens for nothing, and wait a few more hours for yet another chance of hopefully getting something back for your tokens.
My advise: set your goal beforehand. What player you wanna get, their skills, their roles, SAs, how much you'd be willing to spend in the worst case scenario. Then give the game a few minutes of your time and do some auction runs. You didn't win any player? Well you also didn't lose anything. Why not try at a different hour of the day? It's still viable to try and snipe players at the more irregular hours of the day actually. And I'm reading that some of you were actually able to acquire some good players still!
That being said, it's not the end of the world. Give the system some time. Give it a try. Adapt. Test.
I can clearly see that some here have done exactly that and are already reaping some benefits. :)
P.S.
Oh btw, fortunately (or unfortunately?), I have quite a few IRL friends who play Top 11. Naturally you'd think that they ask me "Why this?", "Why that?", and you'd be right as they don't work at Nordeus and always hope to find out that little bit of detail (Good luck with that Charley!). Several hours after 5.6 was deployed I met up with some of them for an early morning coffee. One of my friends was going to (well not literally) rip my head off. Even told me about the feedback from the forum. Yes well, I started up the game and just sat down with them to do some auctions so they actually see it done by someone who already spent a good amount of time with the new system. In the end the guys were still a bit skeptical about the whole redesign but they tried it themselves. They found it quite fun. Enjoyed the greater dynamic and the lack of rounds. They had their criticism as well, some along the lines of what you guys and gals say here in the forum.
What I'm saying is - Put down the pitchforks and give the system a whirl. :) Try it out for a season. See how it goes. We'll be monitoring the situation and see how the community actually fairs.
@Jeeves
We are expecting more info for the feature itself
The info official nordeus page for the auctions is soooooooooo vague.
-We see in the market too many nordgen players. Is this the thing now? Will it be always like this or give us a treat for the first days?
-Our players that are sold are going to other managers?
-Why can't we see the stats of the players or the team that we buy from/sell to?
PS. I would be your friend trying to rip your head of :p
PS2. The thing that I most hate about the feature is that it is away from realistic football transfer market.
I appreciate the long, well thought-out response. I do have a few comments (and not trying to criticize, just giving my point of view).
Maybe I'm cynical, but I think this is because users in those channels are greedier. Here, people generally see the big picture and are more inclined to appreciate the tactical aspects of the game. On Facebook and Twitter, though, you're more likely to get random users that just want everything for free, and to make the game easier and simpler, rather than to emphasize the tactical nuances of the game. I've played for so long because of those nuances; as more of them go, I am more likely to leave as well.
I get the thinking behind this, but I think this is going to be difficult in practice. Everyone is going to be bidding on the same players, and it's going to be very difficult at the beginning of the year to find cheap players, especially if you don't have time to just sit and wait for several 4-minute periods. "Bailing out" is a nice idea, but when people can jack up the price with impunity, it is going to take lots of active watching just to get one player for a reasonable price. This is exacerbated by the shorter 10-second reset period, as it's harder to watch multiple players at the same time now.
Bearing in mind also that we are now seeing high prices for players at the END OF THE SEASON. I fully expect the problem to be much worse when players are trying to retool their squads. Perhaps this could be fixed by having players bid against players of similar levels (revolutionary, I know).
This all sounds nice, but again, it's difficult to get players now; it'll be worse at the start of the season. The fact that players aren't losing anything by bidding just makes the overall prices go up, which causes players to be more expensive than they ordinarily would. That gives players like me, who have to buy players on the cheap to survive, a much more difficult task.
Look, I get the effort that was put into this, and perhaps we do need to give it more of a chance. I am personally waiting until next season to actually try it out because I don't need to buy anyone yet. However, I think the concerns are very real and very strong here, and if we at least get some indication that the team will consider adding back the old auction system in some form if this system proves to have unsolvable deficiencies, we will be more open to it. I have offered a suggestion of having both a Quick Auction system and an Auction system working alongside each other, perhaps this is a doable compromise.
PS: I notice that you did not address the issues teams have encountered with selling players, or trying to see players' stats. Is that also something you're monitoring and considering adjusting?
5.6 is a radical shift, and perhaps it's more the unveiling of it than the implementation that is the problem.
-The auction feature change is unrecognizable from prior system, this could have been explained more thoroughly before the roll out. We had, at best, a teaser screenshot of partial stars, a more information-forward campaign leading to the update would have better prepared us.
- The timing of the roll out...2 updates in 1 season, and any update coming on Cup Finals day (or FA weekend, or last league day). Everyone other than Nord would have expected some issues to rise up. Nordeus screwed with many results yesterday, and the tactics bug was unmissable, the log in errors numerous. No excuses, this update should not have been pushed at that time.
-Despite the intention to act on manager feedback, this update seems out of touch with the player base, and the overwhelming negative response speaks to that. I notice many of the very, very slim minority of positive responses on FB also attached (weak) suggestions, eg "this great update nordeus, now u must fix the players losing a 20% star every season." Bottom line, Nordeus is the game designer, not the players; it's one thing to acknowledge our suggestions, but it's solely on Nord when an implementation leads to such strong backlash. Nobody suggested dropping this like any ol' update, doing so is out of touch with how day to day players can be expected to perceive such drastic mechanics changes.
-tl;dr - the response crystal clear, 5.6 is poorly received. The fact that we are so quick to jump indicates the problem is the roll out and prefacing, few were in a mindset to even give the new content a chance. Connection/relationship between Nordeus and players suffers needlessly. These are as serious of issues as would be a majorly buggy update, hope Nord treats as such; updates should not risk losing a % of player base, I think this has.
New features that a player wants do not need to be "given a whirl." Nordeus had done a poor job letting us know why 5.6 should excite us. Unless@Jeeves is traveling the world's coffee shops to hype it, this is some work that should have been done by marketing and social staff.
How different might this situation be if Nordeus had video spots weeks before? Do what Jeeves did, but for thousands of players before the update, not a handful the day after. You didn't tell us to be excited, and in the void, we found a lot of frustrations. Nordeus made the worst of this opportunity. It's too much work to listen and implement updates to have the release be so poorly executed.
The response is appreciated but I do wonder whoever came up with "Oh, the managers would love their players' disappearing into the void for half the price of what they could have gotten if the players they put up to the auction were actually bidden upon. They are begging for it all over the social networks!" Give that lad a medal.
Yeah I see people bitching on facebook every day about how it's not fair that their players lose a star every season.
They either can't or don't want to comprehend that 1: As your player moves up against better competition, he will be weaker relative to the new strong players he's playing against and 2: All the other managers are getting THE SAME THING, it's not like your players lose a star and everyone around you doesn't.
They just don't get it, or don't want to get it.
Seems like Nordeus is listening to people who don't even understand how the game works and taking their suggestions over the more knowledgeable and dedicated players.
@Jeeves
I will start with the fact that You can not admit the error that was pointed at you. You divert our attention by writing this explanation, you can read carefully the comments that the users have described to you in the forum.
If one update can spoil the game then you have succeeded. Would you please explain to me how the lack of stats for the players will help?
I wish you the best because the game is great, although after such actions, there is no logic in this ...
Well, apart from that, update will promote players who buy tokens, today for 3 hours I did not find a decent player to buy. I watched the market every 4 mins - what a waste of time: / but with the beginning of the new season probably will start war because the super players will appear and win the one with the most token ... I would like to be wrong: /.
Gather comments from posts, write reviews, and post in forums for discussions ... so you improve the game and you will not break it.

They do whatever they want to do in the name of "based on fans feedback". No one from nordeus talks about the many bugs and issues that we are facing right now.
And now, Jeeves just confirmed that fans on Facebook and Twitter are rather more important.
In reality if you consider last few updates,I strongly feel Nord-devs are trying their best to squeeze real money out of their customers and personally I'm not against it but, they must know they should not kill the USP of this game. They're trying their very best to choke the lifeline of this game.
I haven't mentioned any particular issue as anyone who is active on forums already knows what i'm talking about.
But the biggest irony for me right now is that how can they introduce such a big change with so so many bugs(which clearly shows it is not tested enough)and completely disregarding the real issues mentioned by so many community members even by moderators over the time.
It seems as if our suggestions does not matter.
It seems we don't matter.
Ahm... do you think, we are stupid?
I believe... no, I'm sure, EVERY experienced manager at this forum knows how he has to go for new player. WE all knew, when the best time was to get f.e. Nordgens. We know, who has to replace... we know, what we need. I'm also sure, at this forum, there are much more people, who (try to) understand the game/tactics/formation, than your social media friends. In my early days in this game, I read your FB-site too... and a lot of comments. And... as a newbie, I knew, there are ~98% moaner, who never reflect themselves...
Take a look at "Season 91 - Are you ready?" and you can follow, how long it takes me to get a replacement for my ST (who played 15 seasons!!!), but this is managing.
Now... it's just a player farming. Nobody knows, where the player come from. Nobody knows, if this player showed bad or good performance (if it isn't a Nordgen).
And believe me, quickness isn't better, always. Beside this... for a real manager, the new system costs and wastes a lot more. This a big step you will lose a lot of good manager .
With your post... I'm really afraid of the day, you introduce the 2-week season. :( :(
Another suggestion: At your app-discription, you say, you have 150 mio players (if it's true or not...). No other football managing game out there has nearly the same amout of player. You know... they played it/started playing with the old auction system? Did you ever thought, WHY your game has much more success than every other managing game?
A last word: history should tell us, the mass of people isn't an indicator, if something is good or not.
Geared towards low level managers, who are spending money on tokens, before they realize its all a scam. Goodbye.

Rest assured, they are listening to us (but they don't give a f***)
It's useless to say anything else.
Their strength lies in not telling the truth.

There is one thing keeps making me confused: is Nordeus earning any profits? If the answer is yes why they keep making these ridiculous updates? If not how can they guarantee these changes will bring in more money?
Nordeus, I know you made a lot of surveys among us, thanks. But did you do any risk analyses and finance analyses? In your analyses, did you consider something called stratification? How can you come up with the naive idea of merging all levels on auction?
Are you kidding me? Is this the game that I have spent my lives in recent years to play? I start thinking about more and more ...
Nordeus,
Take a look at the auction view, don't you think the first column is too wide for containing name and nationality only? Why you don't make it narrower and add in a column for SA?
Note, the scout and negotiation tab stay the same, so from my perspective this is a very poor programming effort.

TMI- Yes, Nordeus is expected to be a profitable company. It's privately owned, which means their earnings don't have to be publicly disclosed (as with most companies). There is not much, but a few business interviews with Nordeus staff are on the web, for example. A company of this size and type almost certainly has an analytics team, who monitor data like login per day, time spent per action; and others who make strategic recommendations, like which demographics to target and how, examining traffic flow, conversion rates, etc...
But- every product and company should evolve, and not every attempt is a success, even for the hugely resourced companies like Google (remember Glass? flop). This seems like a disconnected update, crossed wires at Nordeus. However, it may be that the next "generation" of players will find v5.6 to be an improvement, it certainly could yield whatever positive result Nord hoped for on their end; even if that's out of touch with legacy users.
^^^
That's why I think the problem Nordeus could have avoided is in the roll-out/ release of the new features. I can imagine some data that would lead to this 5.6 decision, including interpreting player feedback, token spending trends, and targeting a marginal increase in spending for limited demographic...
But Nordeus, with data in hand, certainly has a clear idea while developing this 5.6 "auction module" - the big problem is how unclear the motive is for, seemingly, the vast majority of legacy users. Go from text to graphic based games, clear motive; add a feature to play fairly with a social group, clear motive; 5.6 is lost in translation, Nordeus didn't "control the narrative" by presenting the positives and creating excitement, the motives are mistrusted.
Again, maybe for them it's short term pain for long term gain.
Ya, data doesn't tell everything and sometimes it is even misleading. They can use the survey data in a better way - e.g., increase Nordgens for high level managers and slightly merge top levels to avoid boring league (same opponents) seasons by seasons.
There are a lot of things they can do to improve this game to keep it the top one in the world. But they way they redesign this auction thing is naive and not a carefully planned outcome.
I certainly hope they can get larger and better, because we might benefit (hopefully) from that, this is why I keep saying win-win is the optimal way for both ends.
Rough last couple of days so far. Yesterday that glorious update by T11. And this morning, I had a meeting and I lied about my age slightly (knocked off 2 years) and then I realized that I had just given them a document with my birthday on it. I felt like she could see the panic on my face as I realized what I had done. And earlier this morning I shook hands with the plumber. Rookie mistake. I was noticing that he had a good amount of dried feces on the front of his pants while I was watching him snake my toilet. When we locked hands, I regretted it instantly and I felt like he could see the panic in my eyes. Maybe he wasn’t basically covered in dried ****. Maybe it was just dried mud all over his pants, shirt, hands and fingernails. But when it comes to the question, “Is it mud or ****?” I just can’t give the benefit of the doubt to a plumber.
