Season 92 - Are you ready?

I'm having terrible defensive displays so far this season.
In 7 official games I have conceded 10 goals. Good thing is that I score a lot as well with 18 goals so far.

What could the problem be? The gk or the defenders? I play with a 4-1-2-2(AMR, AML)-1 formation. The RB and the DMC are the only different players compared to last season's defensive players, but the DMC has great ratings in almost every game so far.

Ain't enough that my league is though, it gets even worse. Tomorrow, I could've boosted my GD against the bottom feeder, but no, wait, there is still Nordeu's animation. In todays league match, that abandoned team consisting just of 14 eligible players, got as much as 4 goddamn red cards, hence, they won't be able to field 11 ****ing morons for tomorrows league match against my team. And so, instead of boosting my own teams GD in a league in which every ****ing goal can decide the league title, I'll get just a 3-0 win. Well done, Nordeus, Hitchcock is a rookie for that bloody engine of yours...

I use high pressure mostly, man-to-man or zonal depending on the opponent. I play with offside trap most of the times as well.

I mostly think it's because of the gk, even though he occasionally played really well and got man of the match awards last season. He has one-on-one stopper SA. But, based on my last game where I was up 4-1, when I made a substitution and changed my left back I conceded 2 goals in the last minutes of the game so I don't know what the problem really is. Maybe the issue is that my backup players are not very good. I don't know, maybe it's a combination of these 2 factors.

A WALK IN THE PARK (or not?): My second team is facing a low level team in the league. The quality difference is not that big. Only 53% AHEM. This should be a walk over. Right?

So the game starts. Quick yellow card for his best player, the only 5 star of the team since the rest is 3 stars. Animation for me, my 7 star strikers misses the goal. Another animation, I hit the pole. OK....... Next animation for him and of course he scores 1-0. Is it going to be this kind of game again? I get animation after animation but no score. I get a bunch of text. Free kick for my 7 star free kick specialist. Blocked and corner. Corner taken and another corner. Corner taken and intercepted. 45 minutes into the game and 1-0.......... Oh boy.

Second half start and I check the ratings. His defence is on an average of 5,5. His goalie however is at 5 savings on my 5 shots and scores 8,5. My average is somewhere around 7,5????? Nordeus what the heck. Finally at the 53rd minute I score 1-1. Maybe I am going to win this. Another shot missed. Another free kick wide. I can feel what is coming. 66th minute, I score 1-2. Finally after 20 shots and 7 at target I am in the lead. My advisary gets an animation. Nordeus, come on, you can't be that cruel. Right? Right? He passes my defense, he shoots and....... he hits the pole. Wow. That was close.

His ratings are dropping faster then a meteor in our atmosphere. Mine are rising like mad. And the score is 1-2..... Animation after animation but no score. 81th minute a new animation. I see my free kick specialist take a free kick from the side and YESSSSS 1-3. For crying out loud, about time. 88th minute my AMC breaks through and he scores 1-4. So finally a little walk in the park.

Now to get to the point. I had about 15-20 animations in this game. I had 27 shots with 11 on target. I had 80% possession, 5 free kicks and 11 corners (somehow he got 7 corners and not 1 animation for it). My rating was 2,1 points higher then the advisary. Yes, that is 2,1!!!! higher. And I only win the game in the last 10 minutes? Oh well I won but it was intense.

SCREW THIS, counter formation on my side,every single stat was on my side like possesion shots and stuff and i still lose 0:2 + home ground.. it feels weird. idk it just does

But... Cipriani... omg... how could I get him for just 1T?
Usually, I try to get only 18 y.o., but I place 1T just for fun, because, I thought, if I'd get him, it's okay.

Yeah... for sure, it's only 3.day of league, but have you ever seen a defender with this rating at top rated?

Mentality?
Try defensive mentality without offside trap.
I never use offside trap.
Maybe playing high pressure with trap makes your defensive line to be way too front, so there are more gaps in your defense

Very, very sad start into the day.

We lost a long time FA member. 1. time he really thought about quitting was after the introducing of the new auction system. 2.time was a big troll result at CL-Final (against a weaker bot-team). I talked to him, he should try it one more season... now he is gone, because auctions are stupid as hell (his words) and the troll-out of the cup, against a 15% weaker bot team. (click for stats)

I really have to thank you, Nordeus. You are such a great company, listening to your loyal managers. Go on this way and he won't be the last longtime, loyal manager, who left. I really hope, your bots will buy token.

yesterday I had 2 matches, the 1st of league I was the favourite with a +21% or so and I draw 0-0, then in CL won 5-0... I dont know how finished the day wit a red card and 2 injuries lol

Today I wanted to chek out the market and I did a offer in negotiations for 9T and too I entered in a bidding war... I was thinking in to troll others increasing the price but I decided that a English player with 3 positions next to 6* was more worh than the 6* potatoe scouts with potatoe nationality tha cost 39T and went till round 41 for that player, so yea I used 41T for a 27 age that now is ma DC and well, I really feel a little bit lost cause don't know how ma 35T per season will compensate this.... but I had to test it to know how it eels so, done.

Now I hope I will see the negotiation accepted for a AMC that is from Scotland and looks nteresting to help us this season.
