    Will retire in 2 seasons but extend 3 seasons?

    Hey guys!

    Visiting level 26 but this is my first meeting with old player renewing question Until now i selled my players when they reached 24-25ish yo

    But i have to keep him coz he is my best player so far

    Currently he is 31 yo. Top eleven says: "The player will retire in 2 season(s)" BUUUT i can extend his contract by 3 years!

    extend now? or extend next season? or what will be happening? I WANT keep him as far as i can

    I vote extend now (or later in this season)

    2 seasons means the actual, +1.

    Once the next season starts, it will say 1 season, what means all the season +7 days in what the player don't have contract but you can renew it.

    Despite all right now as he have 31 would be good renew him now cause I don't have clear when the retirement announcement is made... I'm not sure if maybe next season he will announce the retirement despite have a contract signed, what I think is probable...

    Well I went to check and the contract say "player to retire next season" in my player age 31 Davide Mutombo, when had 2 years and when I renewed and extended to 3.
    So in this case will retire as say next season... despite do a contract renewal.

    This is more like a bug,a player who is playing his last season before he retires can have his contract renewed(will get the one time bonus) but he still stop at the end of that season.

    A real world player can extend his contract for 3 years but retire the next year.

    Does anybody know what "triggers" or makes a player retire at 32 or 33 yo. Why not make it standard 34 for all. Now I have a very young team but it was so annoying when I bought a 29 or 30yo and it said he would retire in two seasons. I always sold him in the next one. 33yo players are like surprises you don't know if he will retire or stay for one more year.
    Does this have anything to do with how many times his contract has been renewed or something.
