I play 4411 usually, really exclusively the last 10 seasons or so.
4411 I think gives balance to each part of the formation, so that all I do during the match is adjust tactics and a less often arrows.
I can play 4411 comfortably vs any formations, just by adjusting tactics- high and low press, offside trap, passing focus and length, plus mentality. I really can use any combination depending, responding to my opponent by watching both teams ratings.

In this match I moved players to get the ratings up, and ended with a strange formation. (I think 4 back defenders can be weak against some attacking mid formations, not all,). During his starting years, DL/DML Milovanovic only played ML, yellow out of position; so I thought he might be more effective in mid defense instead of DL. My ML Brini is one of my best and single position, so he could not move.
