[Official] Challenge #4 - Beat The Special One Challenge

Nice with the new challenge, but it has introduced at technical problem: T11 loading screen hangs forever, and requires a restart of device before it comes out of this limbo. You can then start game a couple of times, then the loading screen hangs again, and you need to restart your device, etc, etc. Seen starting today on iPad and iPhone running iOS 10.3.3. Danm annoying.

Can't be arsed to submit a support case, because the procedure is so rigid, but I hope that some Nordeus folks read this anyway ...

My Iphone is running on 10.3.2 (was too lazy to update it yet) and I dont have this issue and therefore can't reproduce it. Strange... I'm not sure whether your problem is connected with the latest IOS-update but it could be a possibility.

Hopefully it will be sorted out soon! Sounds really annoying. :(

Another new issue seen on iOS 10.3.3: When you tap the View button in the Beat the Special One section on the T11 front page, the Beat the Special One content (arrange match, rules and leaderboard) appears BEHIND the front page's other content (overview, friends, etc.). Happens arround 20% of the times, can't really tell what triggers it, but it happens so often that some testing should have caught it before release. Again, a restart of one's device is required to get out of the deadlock. Sigh ...

Playing on iPad version 9.3.5(??????, honest I have no idea.) with no problems whatsoever.

Hey Jernet - sorry to hear about this. Would you mind PMing me some screenshots and your Manager ID? I'll have the team look into it tomorrow.

EDIT: Also, can you try reinstalling? Let me know if that helps.

He's not very hard, at least not on day 1. Maybe he'll get tougher as we advance later into the tournament.

I played him on a team of mine that has been inactive for months. My team had no win bonus, 0-0-0-0 training bonuses and awful morale (4 red arrow, 3 yellow, 2 orange, 1 light green, 1 dark green). Scores were 2-3, 1-0 and 1-4. Yes, somehow mourinho lost to that awful team.

Main account team did fine, 3-0, 4-0 and 3-0.

The beautiful thing is to know that if 2 managers have the same points both have the same position. So if 14 managers are agree to have a x14 draw everybody in the world will recive 15T.

I won 3-1, 5-2 and 2-0.

looks like only me and one guy playing this chalenge in my table, others either not active or jot interested. one guy he only play one a day ( does he know he can play 3 times a day ) ... not challenging anymore

A draw.
I don't like this.
I should stick with my favourite formation.
Disappointed.

Mourinho PUNCHED ME after the match, security had to intervene to calm the situation down:p. Now that he is being trolled he can't stand it any more.
On a serious note all the matches I have had against him the possession has been steady around 60% for me. I'm gonna speculate again and say if the matches aren't down right fixed they are at least "calibrated". He always uses different formation so that means it doesn't impact the stats that much.

Well Mourinho can win. I lost one game with both of my teams. Both games were dominated heavily by me and I will call it a troll result:

Possession 70 vs 30
Shots 22 vs 11
On target 10 vs 3
Saves 0 vs 6
End score 1-2

My other game was bad luck
Possession 69 vs 31
Shots 17 vs 12
On target 9 vs 8
Saves 3 vs 3
End score 2-3

So far I've had 4 wins, a draw and a defeat. sitting in 4th place in my 'league' with 13 pts, leader on 16. then 2 on 14.

6/6 so far and pretty easily as well. As it seems like, only one other manager is active and has taken part in the challenge so far. Ez 15 tokens [emoji41]

I had problems from hell yesterday, but today everything Special One-related runs smoothly, so I haven't been able to reproduce any of the issues I ran into yesterday.

- And I managed to beat the Man three times today, so all's well for now ...!

really Im using Mou to test what combination of players works better...

so far it's 7 wins out of 7 games. 2 more to play later today, and i'm sitting prettily at the top of my group.

By the way, i got a notification at the start of today that Mourinho had purchased 2 new players and thus Special One is now stronger.

Question to Nordeus: Does Mourinho strenghten only for those leading the league, or happens across the league whereby Special One's team strength is the same for all??

aha... Mou bought x2 8*... I supose that we will se his team improving at least... every 2 days ?¿

I was about to say if he is going to play the same team through out. But still need improvement like change formation and make sub during game. I bet his team will never get injuired. Why would a world class manager have a RB with the number 1 or a ST with the number 2, get yourself together Mou and organize your team a bit:D. My OCD is killing me, its not like it cost 1 token to change the numbers anymore.

Just noticed the 2 players a ST and a MC look like Ibra and Pogba in the photo. Coincidence, no hotel TRI vago ??? (Lame joke but I couldn't resist)

Mourinho stays the special one. First time against his 4-4-2 formation and it is a 5-0. Second time same formation and I tie the game with great effort only due to a red card of his. Next game I tie again because of an early red card for me. Is it just me or the amount of red cards way higher in these games? So far 12 games played with both teams and 6 red cards.

Yesterday I had two wins and one draw. Today the same. Each of the last two days the first two games were almost too easy but in the last games I conceived early goals against Mou and achieved a draw in the last minutes of the matches. Maybe it was because of his formation. Oh an by the way: He had so far at least almost every time different formations.

I had the same issue yesterday twice on my iphone. I was at work and can't play the game there via the browser and had to switch to my phone. So yep, this has happened to me as well. Today and on the first day of the challenge I played the matches from the browser at home so I did not experience this.

Hey Niddhoeggr. :( Can you PM me your details please (Manager ID, device/OS)? Did it just happen one time? Try giving TE a reinstall a see if that solves it and let me know when you can. :)

Whoever setup Mourinho's team forgot to set up his penalty takers properly. Mine had his MR miss one as I won 2-1 when he has a ST with PK SA on the field. Not complaining but it makes him look incompetent.

As well as yesterdays transfers he now has two 7* players in his team today!:eek:

I still don't have any problem defeating him. Funny enough, ever since the transfers he made, it's even easier. 12/12 so far.
