I agree about association matches no need to put much thought in them. As for close matches I think the game uses some tricks or little clues to justify the final result. Why did I lose against this team oh it was because x defender or the GK did not have a good day. Sometimes an unexpected red card will determine the reason you lose. Other times are goals the opponent scores on set pieces you can't really complain there as it is pure luck weather the player scored or not. I had a 0-0 draw yesterday after dominating the game 70% and my attackers had all high ratings but they didn't score despite changes in tactics or subs. How was it justified his GK was man of the match. He is higher level but we both have similar ratings. Today I have a feeling I'm gonna win but man I wish I knew what actually happens on the pitch in this type of games.
