    Result just in!!!

    Guedes FC 0-4 Didinaga FC

A shock defeat at home for Guedes FC as they were trampled by Didinaga FC!! We now remain 7 points clear with just 8 games to go!

@July Fourth, you can use 4-4-2 classic vs the attacking 3-2-3-2, as that is what caused the defeat today.

Yeah the way to play against very attacking formations I've found is not to be very attacking yourself.

That scoreline there is an unbelieveable scoreline. Think thats the league over now for you as far as your concerned. You don't mess things up.

Won 0-2 away against the 2nd on board today. Despite the 68% possession, 20 shoots/10 on target we were 0-2 untill the very hand (TY game engine, but now it's a given which doesn't even surprise me anymore. MoM again someone not even mentioned in the commentary.

We are 19 points ahead, with 2 "easy" matches in the next days. Can we say we won the league?

despite only 85% condition from the ninja friendly, my team routinely defeated its league opponent 3-0, keeping league lead for a short while. My star striker was MoM again and improved to 42 quality, 7.4 stars.

Some tougher teams up next, and the 2nd team is closely on my heels. Since Id already be satisfied with CL qualification, its exciting but not really catastrophic. Im 9 points ahead of place 5 with 8 games to go, 4 of them should be auto-wins, so I dont have to worry about CL next season.

Tomorrow: CL away game after 3-0 win in the home game, and a match against place 3 in league. I think the league match will be tougher.

    Thursday / Friday. Matchdays 19 / 20.

    LEAGUE: Round 17.

Result: DUAN FC 2-0 LONDON CITY
Goals: Mbodj Mbaye 59, Mbodj Mbaye 53
    M.o.M: Leo Mbodj Mbaye (DFC)

The only positive to come out of this match for us, is that we didn't suffer any injuries against the roughest team in our league. Leo Mbodj Mbaye scored a goal in each half to dent our hopes of winning the league. Our "hosts" received 5 yellow cards and one red, which is about normal for them.

    CHAMPS LEAGUE: Quarter-final, first leg.

Result: LONDON CITY 2-2 FC POTE
    Goals: Mata 5, Webo 17, Pote 64, Yashin 76
    M.o.M: Pepe Killer Potinho (FCP)

We trailed twice in this first leg encounter against the strongest opponents left in the competition, but felt disappointed not to have won. The second leg will be tough. Juan Mata put the visitors ahead, but Pierre Webo equalised before halftime. After the break, Pote regained the lead through Pepe El Mago Pote. Oleg Yashin got our second equaliser with 15 minutes left.

    LEAGUE: Round 18.

Result: LONDON CITY 0-1 TSG RHEDA
    Goals: Hartung 43
    M.o.M: Pedro Rodriguez (TSG)

A second successive defeat has virtually put an end to our league championship chances. We are now 7 points adrift of the leaders, with just the eight matches remaining. For the record, Thorsten Hartung scored the only goal, a couple of minutes before halftime.
