Yes he did! He managed to entertain our crowd with some Harlem shake as well... :D
Finally a win in the CL after 3 BS results. With a 2-1 away loss in the league (lost with 4-1-4-1 against 4-1-2-1-2 despite better quality) I am now three points behind the league leader. But in the CL 4-1-4-1 worked against 4-1-2-1-2. Final score 3-1, but it was very close. All three goals in the last 10 minutes of the match.
Despite finishing the group with 16 points, I fear a very bad season outcome, because it seems like the match engine picked FC Kneipenkick to win no title this season (so much BS already). :(
Well, on the positive side, a player offered me a good negotiations offer for one of my substitute strikers (8 tokens and 2.5 million above market value). :) I will use that option since quality and depth does not matter these days as the match engine prooves day-in-day-out. :(
Unreal we are out from CL..
huh i qualified in CL , idk how , i was in third place until today :)
finally a good day for me: 3-0 both in league and CL. But I am still pissed at the statistics, for example the league match: 70% possession, almonst only comments about my team attacking, but statistics say 13-12 shots...
well i shouldnt complain with good results.
tomorrow afternoon cup match. I won first leg away with 1-0, i hope the engine doesnt go crazy. League match shouldnt be a problem (on paper, who knows^^), its vs an inactive dude with 10m cash on bankan 1.5m player value :D
July Fourth 2-1 Moskity Champions League Group F Round 6
July Fourth 107.7 4-1-3W-2 - Moskity 97.0 3N-2W-3N-2
July Fourth finish the group stage with a 6-0-0 record with having won the group already with plenty to spare, but however this game the 6-0-0 in the group nearly didnt happen, we dominated the first half but never really put away our chances except from in the 36th minute L.McNamara scored with a long range effort, again wasting our chances early on in the second half we were made to pay from a Moskity corner which Larsen headered it onto the goal, but we got a 75th minute winner through a Holvoet cross to find Papaleo in the area to header us back infront, Hardy was sent off for a second yellow shortly after and the opponents almost converted the free-kick.
I was watching on my phone and didn't pay attention to my opponents formation and I should of really played 4-4-2 classic.
Goals: L.McNamara (36) Larsen (66) Papaleo (75) MOTM: Papaleo.
League, Matchday 11
Smerenna Team [4-5-1 Flat] 0 - 4 New Team [4-1-2-1-2/3-1-4-2]
A conformtably win away in the daily's League Match ends the raw of top-table games against the second 6 teams, straight. After maintainance we luckily managed at least to recover a bit of form due to the late hour of the match. We though knew that we would have troubles keeping up as we were facing a CL match two hours later. We scored twice per Time, overall overpowering our opponents in their half of the field, and never really getting them into the match. We got ahead with Paul Diamond (22') anddoubled the score when a harsh foul over Becker gave us a free kick which Fubuki Shirou converted (30'). Bad news anyways as with the second cup's leg at doors we lost our SS AMC for four days. In the second half we deployed a 3-1-4-2 without him, managing to score two more times first with Oliver Hutton (56') and then with James Derrick (57') served by Le Blanc.
Scorers: P.Diamond, F.Shirou, O.Hutton, J.Derrick.
MoM: H.Strauss (9), New Team.
The clash between table's first sees New Team over with it, while in the next days the first 6 right after us will face althogether. Currently New Team is 9 points ahead the direct follower, and Coach Mad will force the team to widen the gap as he'll be missing from 1st May to 8th due to a foreign trip.
Champion's League, Qualifiers, Day 6
New Team [4-5-1 V/3W-1-3N-1-2] 5 - 2 FC Barcelona [4-3-1-2]
We managed to sub almost all our player for the CL match but alas we were already in terrible conditions. By the start of the second half almost all the players were down to 50 form. As consequence, we struggled more than we needed against an averagly good team which we overpowered anyways by possession and occasions. After we failed twice with Mason and Derrick, we took a goal from nowhere at their first attempt from a cross on the far right of the field and a tapin by G.Munro (8'). Even tho, even if tired, we managed to conquer quickly the field and equalized right after with Ivor Hardy served by Mason near the goal (16'), and went rightfully ahead when Jason derrick from the left let an incredible shoot explode under the seven (25'). Before half time Mason had a sure goal deflected in corner, but on the CK he drew a perfect ball for the aerial defender Denver who signed the 3-1 (43'). In the second half we got another injury to one of our titulars, Ivor Hardy, slided badly by the opponents and benched immediatly while changing module to adapt to form/injuries into 3-1-3-1-2. On top of that, Fc Barcelona managed to score again on a counter setting it to 3-2 with M.Mauer.
Our pride let use react and manage to get back at them when Mason jumped the markers and beat the keeper for the 4-2 (83'); in the final phases he got tacled badly again and for a second we feared another injury, but he was fine, and P.Callaghan scored the definitive 5-2 from the free kick (89').
Scorers: I.Hardy, Jason Derrick, B.Denver, J.Mason, P.Callaghan (FK).
MoM: P.Callaghan (9), New Team.
We are rightfully in the next CL's phase winning our group with 18 Pts, 24 goals scored and 4 against. We will face FC Bayern City with a pretty good Q26 in the next match, so here again an Italy-Germany all out war. But we are confident into making it to the top :)
On the injury side, we'll try recover at least Becker for the cup Leg, otherwise things might get messy.
I need some advice: I found a player that I was looking for since day 1: 18yr old MC with SA (playmaker) and 11SKP from 6*/scout lvl. He seems to be a fast trainer as well (high market value/price tag)... And with some PT I would get him to 8* in 2-3 days (no doubt).
I was thinking to make a offer by tomorrow morning but do you guys find my "offer" reasonable?
http://i35.tinypic.com/2vvmf6t.png
is he really a fast trainer? there are Q34 players worth more than 5m, so i guess Q39 and 8m is not absolute top?
I will explain for him
He had 7 points before the last matches and the guys from 1st and 2nd place had 10 points
In the last match 1st and 2nd place were playing against eachother
He needed that one of them to win the match so he can pass one of them
Of course, the match ended in a draw and he cried all night:))
I am a Rookie but have still not been able to sell a player on auction. No offers at all.
Friday (day 13).
LEAGUE; Match 11.
Result: LONDON CITY 1-2 ML UTD
Goals: Tyron 5, Tyron 25, Andersson 41
M.o.M: Rodrigo de Castro (MLU)
With a chance of 2nd place at stake, this was a disappointing show from the team. City never got going and two goals from Kasper Tyron, put the visitors 2-0 up before the half hour. Stig Andersson halved the deficit before the break, but although we pushed hard for an equaliser, but it just would not come, and so we have slipped down to 5th.
CHAMPS LEAGUE: Final Group Match.
Result: LONDON CITY 5-0 BUJNY FC
Goals: Andersson 3, Morgada 26, Brown 43, Lanwer 60, King 85
M.o.M: Teddy King
Not only had we already qualified for the knock-out stage, but our nearest rivals had already lost, and therefore we were guaranteed to finish in top spot. The team were relaxed for maybe the first time this season and the goals flowed at regular intervals. Stig Andersson got us off to a dream start, and further goals were added by Hector Morgada and Jake Brown, before the interval. We made a few substitutions for the second half, and two of those new additions, grabbed goals for themselves. Bjorn Lanwer scored a superb solo effort on the hour, and Teddy King rounded off the rout, when he slotted home after being put through by second choice 'keeper, Hor Sameth, who was a late substitute for Morgada, and playing as a striker.
Sorry to hear! How many points ahead are the top 3? I´m 2p behind the 2nd and 5p behind the 1th... I could pass if I manage to beat them in the return ..But then I will need some help from "above" (T11 engine) :p
Btw, which team will you face in the CL (final-eight)?
My league is so close, that between myself (5th), and the league leaders, is just 4 points, and he has already played today's game, and drawn with 3rd place.
In the CL, I have been drawn against a team from Turkey, called Rustem in the first ko round. They are 60.0 quality, whilst I am 67.4. I am actually joint top quality team in the competition, along with my deadly rivals from the last 4 seasons, Pto Alcudia. We both have identical qualities, but are in different halves of the draw, so we could meet in the final (AGAIN for the 3rd time).

Champions League Knockout Stage Draw
http://i35.tinypic.com/34zx639.png
For the first time since I saved the group stage draw image on day 2 we are able to give a quality change that each team made since I took the values on day 2, every team has made some sort of improvement to their team, some more than others, some of the lower values could just be natural training while a few teams with higher gains may of bought and sold a few players in the last 2 weeks, July Fourth have the same numerical quality advantage over the nearest team since the group stage draw was made, but now 3 teams have joined us over the 100Q mark. We remain strong favourites to win the competition again and will require a performance in the knockout similar to last season if we are going to have a chance of winning the competition. the number in brackets is the number of points each team obtained in the group stage, Reload FC only got 6 points but they were in our group where we were 1 of 2 teams to score the maximum 18 points, the other team ST.KOOZ United are a possible quarter-final opponent for us. The other 2 teams over the 100Q mark in the top half of the draw appear to both have active managers that watch their games.

League, round 12 - Assilah FC 0-3 Perfect Tactics
Assilah FC: 32.5, 3W-3W-1-3
Perfect Tactics: 52.0, 3-2-2-2-1 butterfly
Again the game engine makes 2* players play like 8* players but at least it wasn't a 1-0 win. We took the lead early on after Mata's pass found Nascimento who prodded into an empty net. After pressing for so long and being unable to find a way through, we were awarded with a goal from Petersen's free kick and then he got a second from long range, sealing the game.
Goals: Nascimento (4'), Petersen (62', 82')
MOTM: Mata
Tomorrow we take on 3rd place Blue Whales. This will be a very tough game, active manager with a full 5* team. Anything but a defeat will be acceptable.
July Fourth 1-1 bogor fc League Round 12
July Fourth 107.8 3N-1-3W-1-2 - bogor fc 101.8 Attacking 3N-2N-3W-2
We started the middle weekend of this season with a home game against the team with the second highest quality in the league... and basically it was a FAILURE. Miku's return was capped with a goal in the first half after a pass on goal from Michu and we were not able to finish off the game and Mathisen was able to find an equaliser from the visitors in the 76 minute and we were unable to get a winner. Defender Danilovic kept winning all the tackles and blocking everything.
Goals: Miku (38) Mathisen (76) MOTM: Danilovic
We are 7 points ahead but HONDA 2 play in 6 hour time from now at home against TURKUAZ SK in which they should be expected to win easily and reduce our lead in the league back to 4 points and this gives us something to think about in the next few days.
chronicles from the Eagles....
The boys from the Eagles are fast becoming the giant killer in our competition. After a 1-1 draw at home, we managed to turn the table away with an hard fought tactical battle 2-1 victory. The boys had to come back from a goal down, and for the first time all seasons our much touted GK put up a splendid performance. Now, the boys await their next round opponent...the beat goes on

Horrible formation to decide what to play against. I went for my default formation on this occasion. For some reason we didn't play our best game and in the second half we were below par unusually, when this season we have won well in a lot of our league games. Still unbeaten but we have still got a league to win here.
Managed to get in the next round in the Cup.

But the injury streak continues. ST injured 6 Days
last 3 days and today together = 7 injured players (Haven't played League yet today!!)
Haha, it's drama :p I´ve never experienced the league competition (results, standings etc) to be so hard/difficult as this season. Even the "weaker" teams (3* - 4*) are approaching the "Top 3". I´m quite "forced" to play with my best 11-squad to keep up the distance (+9p between 3rd and 4th place). Anyway, hopefully the luck will turn and you will have the opportunity to pull it through. :)
It´s almost the same for me in the CL. My biggest league rival is my biggest CL rival as well. But this time both ended as groupwinners of E&F, so we will avoig each other in the final-eight. He is playing against a weaker team, but I´m facing a quite mediocre one.
Good luck! ;)
3W-2DMC-3w-2 should do the job but i advice man to man marking.
League, matchday 12
New Team [3-5-2 V]. 4 - 1. Ashish FC [4-1-2-1-2]
We didnt watch this match, and found it out to be a relatively easy win. We went immediatly ahead with Hutton (6'), and even being equalized after 10 minutes, we were just too overwhelming pushibg them in defence and scoring with James Derrick (47') and closing the game with Hutton's hat trick (67', 75').
Scorers: [i] O.Hutton (3), James Derrick, C.Kang.
MoM: O.Hutton (9), New Team.
With the 2nd and 3rd losing to the 4th and 5th, we are now 12 points ahead already in the League. As we finished, we went straight to Germany for the heated Cup's second Leg!
Cup, Last 16, 2nd Leg
FC Koln All Stars [3-1-4-1-1/3-1-2-3W-2] 1 - 3. New Team [ND/4-1-4-1/3-2W-4-1]
http://i37.tinypic.com/72rm2r.jpg
We put our pride at stake here, going to Germany as fierce italian team and asking the greatest performance counting on our 2 most representative players, this year's striker Hutton and last season's hero Mason. Since taking a goal would have meant having to get back, we decided to go on the offensive with the narrow diamond since the start. Despite playing away we leveled the possession on par, and we were almost immediatly pressing them back. When Hutton found Mason regularly near the goal and the ladder exploded his left under the bar, the crowd froze istantly (16'). Koln All Stars didnt even had time to react that Tom Becker was already overlapping on Hutton's assist and signing the 0-2 (25')!!! As coach mad thought, tbe opponent reacted setting up a very offensive 3-6-1 V with 3 AMs ashe was warming up the Derrick twins. Right before the sub Koln managed to reduce the gap with a very nice action and conclusion by the striker Woodcock (30'). We suffered a little until the sub, then coach Mad commended his first leg's mistake by setting up a 4-1-4-1 which perfectly countered the opponents. In the second half we kept being more incisive than them almost scoring in two occasions, and from one of the many corners Yuma found Jason Derrick who tapped in the final 1-3 (57')! Koln tried adding a ST for his DMC but Coach Mad had already figured it out moving with a last sub to 3N-DML/DMR-4-1 trapping the AMs between NT's wingers and keeping superiority at the centre, ending tha match without troubles.
Scorers:J.Mason, T.Becker, P.Woodcock, J.Derrick.
MoM: J.Mason (8), New Team
New Team advances to Quarter Finals on 5-3 aggregate.

How am I doing? not so well, but still ok...
the bad:
-Im out of the cup, two losses against a slightly better team with lots of friends.
-Game engine screwed me with a completely unnecessary draw against a very weak league team on autopilot. He made two goal from corner kicks, one of them a double corner in the 88th minute when I thought I should be controlling the game.
the good:
-I made 1st in my CL league, and the first CL knockout opponent seems definitely beatable
-Im still 3 points ahead in the league (and a very good goal difference) with all strong opponents in the first go faced already.
