I think lower quality players get better ratings because they have to work harder in games against players of a higher quality, My other "35T a season" account Troll City mainly 5* couldn't breakdown a 1* defence in CL earlier and drew 1-1, and then less than an hour later against a stronger team in the league that they played against in the CL they win 8-0 away from home.
That's an interesting theory.. And I saw that post but we can just put it down to bad luck I guess. It happens.. Like today in the serie A Roma, who got 20 points in 10 games, only did 1-1 against pescara who only got 3 points in the second half of the season.
This is how the league table looks at the black-eyed peas part of the season...

July Fourth have performed well scoring a good number of goals this season but suffered 2 draws at home against the teams marked with a * and we are still unbeaten. HONDA 2 and FC Mimonos are doing their best to keep up with us this season though.
Key Games
Round 19: July Fourth vs FC Mimonos
Round 21: HONDA 2 vs FC Mimonos
Round 22: July Fourth vs HONDA 2
Our current form in the league suggests we can finish the league season unbeaten with having both games against 2nd and 3rd at home but its at home where we dropped points this season.
Auuuuf, just managed to get a 1-2 away win in the 1th leg of the CL final-eight against a Q33 team.... He played with a 4-3N-1-2 formation, I tried/switched between 3 different formations during the game (3W-2-2-2W-1, 4-5-1V & 4-1-2-1-2)... Don´t know if I should have been using the 4-1-4-1 or 4-1-3N-2, Any advice? ....anyway.. This was unexpected :p
Matchreport coming up after Juventus - Milan game :D
Today was an ok day...
2-0 victory in CL last 16 away game, this one should be in the bag.
League was 4-0 against a mediocre team, thus maintaining my 3 points lead and keeping up the much higher goal difference.
Unfortunately, I had one injury in each match, my 2nd striker in the first game (I switched to 4-5-1 V for the 2nd so I didnt need the striker) and my dmc in the last minutes of the 2nd game. Both injuries are fortunately only 2 days, and tomorrow is only a league game against a weak team, so Im considering to sit the injuries out. The problem is that this might eat into my green packs.
Injury count for the season: 12
Italian football's much more tactical than English football.. Maybe there aren't as many chances but you can appreciate the intelligence needed to get a result in the Serie A. Italian managers are the some of the best in the world IMO even if the games can get boring.
Just had one of those ridiculous results in the league. 0-0 to a team about 15* average below me, dominated the match with possession 80-20 inspite of him not playing an illegal formation, 14-7 in shots and 7-3 in shots on goal even though none of his registered in the commentary. I played the 2nd half with three strikers and all three of them, together with the AMC who played the first half had several chances where they were through on goal but everything went outside or over the bar and all free kicks hit the wall inspite of them having no SAs of the kind or something like that.
Lets hope the CL-game in about an hour sees a vast improvement because this was a huge disappointment!

Yay 2 more injuries :D
Sunday. (Match day 15).
LEAGUE: Round 13.
Result: LONDON CITY 3-0 MA FC
Goals: Criban 31, Duggan 74, Gomez 83
M.o.M: Andreas Costa
This was a "no-frills", workman like performance against one of the league's lower teams. New DR, Yonni Criban made his first appearance and immediately became a hit with the fans, after opening the scoring with a header from a cross by Stig Andersson. Further goals came after the break, through a solo effort from Terry Duggan, and another header, this time from Pablo Gomez, following Andreas Costa's corner. We still remain 4th though.
CHAMPS LEAGUE: Last 16, First Leg.
Result: RUSTEM FC 0-7 LONDON CITY
Goals: Andersson 7, Gomez 20, Duggan 59, Brown 61, Brown 72, Webo 79, Costa 84
M.o.M: Andreas Costa
Five second half goals has made the second leg of this tie, almost a formality for City. We had the better of the first half and went into the dressing room with a two goal lead through individual efforts from Stig Andersson and Pablo Gomez. The second half started in the same vein, but when Terry Duggan added a third, our opponents heads seemed to drop and the goals really started to flow. Jake Brown then scored two in quick succession. We sent on, new signing, Pierre Webo for the last twelve minutes, and he quickly grabbed a goal, after a pass through by Gomez. Man of the match, Andreas Costa added a seventh with six minutes left.
TRANSFER NEWS.
Long time servant, Teddy King left the club today to join a level 8 team. We wish him well. We also signed our second player in two days, when 20 yo striker, Pierre Webo joined us from a level 12 club.
Champions League QF, 1st leg - Vieri FC 0-5 Perfect Tactics
Vieri FC: 41.6, 4-1-3N-2
Perfect Tactics: 52.0, 3N-1-3N-2W-1 (30 mins 4-3N-2-1)
A comfortable win books us the place in the next round. Our 3N-1-3N-2W-1 not as effective as the 4-3N-2-1 and on 33 minutes, Mata was brought down in the box giving us a penalty which Petersen put away with ease. Vittalone made it 2-0 from a corner before Mata's strike 4 minutes later put an end to this tie and killed off any chance of a fight back. We were awarded a 2nd penalty on 64 minutes and Can was sent off for a badly timed tackle. Petersen stepped up to convert the penalty, making it 4-0 and the red card rubbing salt into the wounds. We got a 5th when Petersen's pass found Mata who side footed it into the goal. A routine win and we go marching on!
Goals: Petersen (33' PEN, 64' PEN), Vittalone (37'), Mata (41', 86')
MOTM: Petersen
Sent off: Can (64')
So Petersen, a non-PK specialist goes and scores 3 penalties today, not too shabby.
F.C. Tiki Taka 2-7 July Fourth Champions League Last 16, 1st Leg.
F.C. Tiki Taka 96.9 4-3N-1-2 - July Fourth 108.0 4-3W-1-2
I normally do a preview on the CL K.O. Stages but thinking this is a straight forward tie for us, I decided there was not much point. I stuck with my 4-3W-1-2 with Hardy out through suspension even though we revived him after the league game for 15 reds. It took a while for us to get the break through with shots missed from Miku, Michu and Papaleo before a wonder striker from knowhere from O'Sullivan put us into the lead. We doubled our lead when Papaleo was on goal but squaring off to Michu and then Michu's corner found Ramirez to make it 3-0. The home side showed some fight just before and after half time by getting a goal on either side of HT from both their strikers Adesanya and Stegaru but July Fourth found another gear immediately and a 25 meters shot from Miku put us back in control and our substitutions freshened things up. Papaleo's 20th goal of the season arrived on 67 minutes after turning past defender to knock it by the keeper. Miku got another brace today on 84 minutes after a low shot just inside the area this time and Zidane's magic saw him beat a defender before knocking it to Mensah to finish it just as the game ended.
Goals: O'Sullivan (21) Michu (29) Ramirez (39) Adesanya (43) Stegaru (46) Miku (50,84) Papaleo (67) Mensah (90) MOTM: Michu.
League, Matchday 13
Coybig FC [3-5-2 V] 0 - 3 New Team [3-2-2-2-1 Butterfly/4-1-2-1-2]
We totally forgot and didn't notice we were facing the newly 2nd on board's team today. Nonetheless we had already prepared the setup which led is to victory. What we didn't know was that today was elected as TROLL DAY for New Team, hence our matches would be full of unexplanable and shocking happening. Today was also M.Stein debut, the new AML/ML recently bought. And it was him in the early minutes panicking out his marking forcing him to foul inside the area for a penalty. After the yellow card we had our 7* PK specialit Clifford Yuma going for it, and we found out it was trollday when it wasn't the keeper saving it but Yuma himself kicking it wide. We kept our 70% ball possession and managed to fail about 5 clen chanches, untill H.Strauss, our DL (?), decided to shoot a missile from far which converted into 0-1 (32'). For the second half we decided to troll back the game engine choosing a setup which should be countered by the 3-5-2 V, being the usual Narrow Diamond. The tactic seemed to work as our pressure raised and we scored another one with James Derrick from a corner kick. We managed to fail couple more occasions untill Strauss being a good German fellow skyrocketed again a shoot ended up in the final 0-3.
Scorers: H.Strauss (2), Jason Derrick.
MoM: Tom Becker (8), New Team.

FC Bayern City [4-3-1-2] 1 - 3 New Team [3-1-4-2/4-1-2-1-2]
http://i36.tinypic.com/ddnk.png
We already knew this match would attempt to troll us aswell, but we managed to avoid the bullet here. There isn't really much to comment on this one as the opponents practically managed to be dangerous TWO TIMES in all the match, being them at 66' and 85' (both times 1 minute after our goal, how coincidential), scoring once. We largely dominated and created several occasions in which ALL THE TIMES our one on one striker passed the ball in front of the keeper...to our BLUE ARROWED DC!! How could it happen, will remain a mistery, but story tells Clifford Yuma was in a bad mood today, failingthe league's penalty and at least 4 goals without keeper in CL! Anyways, Mason was in top form like alwais, and gave us the lead after just 4 minutes (4'), doubling the score in the second half (65'). As we were playing ND in the second part of the match, being more covered, Yuma failed another occasion right after the goal (66'): the very next sentence we read was "reus with a thundering strike" (or some **** like this) and then the 1-2 goal (66'). How in 10 seconds they took the free kick, reached our area, and scored, will too remain a mistery. Luckily for us the eternal Prince Julian Ross (entering field for Hardy in the second half) thundered back at them setting the score to a more just 1-3.
Scorers: J.Mason (2), M.Reuss J.Ross.
MoM: J.Mason (9), New Team.
We have one foot in the quarters unless another troll day comes. But we are ready to dodge arrows to the knees!
At the halfway point here are our top performers..

So as you can see, Petersen dominating the goalscoring charts. Assists are very skewed, with 2 sub players appearing in the top 5. Our 3 playmakers have 1 assist shared between them. Quite poor.
I've played 40 friendlies with my team this season and looked at my squads overall fitness after tonights CL match and decided just to give the reserves a run through all 3 types of training since most of my starting XI are already in the yellow for condition. Our League game tomorrow away at fenerbahce is a very early 9AM UTC+1 K.O. I may not be there to actually watch the game.
Just watched my biggest rivals (and long term opponents, Pto Alcudia), lose 1-4 in the Champs League, to the team who finished second in my group, and who I beat 4-0 away in match 5.
I try to take into account of relative quality of all my players and what I expect from them in the season before I make my decision on the player of the season. For example... Papaleo scoring 35 goals in a season isn't going to win Papaleo player of the season. Thats because I expect Papaleo to score around that many goals in a season. If I see a player performing above their weight like Ramirez did last season then thats what is going to win the player of the season.
'
Yeah, Juveeee! Think the title is secured after this win, since there is no possibility for Napoli to pressure/overturn Juventus with only 4 rounds left. The 1th was quite poor and Milan to pail and tardy, the 2nd half was quite interesting, especially the last half hour. I actually thought that the Milan keeper Amelia would get a red, imagine Mexes between the posts? Haha! :D
Well, usually I don´t follow every game in the Serie A, La Liga or the Premier League. Only the local derbies/el classico ("top-games/clashes") etc. Like today, Tottenham - City, Liverpool-Chelsea and then Juve-Milan.
Balkan Boyz - Matchday 11 (Sz.4 - lvl4)

SUBS: H.Salihamidžić <> E.Džeko (63min)
MOTM: Hasan Salihamidžić (rate:8)
This was an unexpected and minimalistic away win over Stra FC (Ireland) in the 1th leg of the CL final-eight. ((mostly becuse of the fact that I lost myself/didn´t pay attention to it, was watching the Italian derby between Juventus- AC Milano)... Anyway: First, we didn´t expect Stra FC to be a better team than it was a day ago, mostly because of the fact that their manager decided to buy 4 scouts (in which one of them is worldclass, 7*) two or three hours before our meeting (!). Second, they got an early goal in the 1th half and managed to put a high pressure on our 3 line-defence (despite our two DMC´s) with their 4-3N-1-2 formation.
Anyway, we managed to pull it off and a win - is a win. The butterfly formation (3W-2N-2-2W-1) seemed quite ineffective and useless since we didn´t manage to get pass/through their flanks. The 4-5-1V got us an equalizer, but the 4-1-2-1-2 got us the winning goal and all of a sudden we had 3 or 4 dangerous opportunities the last quarter (subbed H.Salihamidžić with E.Džeko), but their GK and Defence did well. The return on Thuesday will be quite interesting, but I think that we will make it through. Let´s hope for the best! ;)
Ima steal that!c:rolleyes:

As stats show, i largely turnovered this season, and most of the presences are half matches. Now that the experiments are over we'll set up a more usual starting eleven so basically some stats will raise. We can proudly say that of the 22 players of New Team, taking out the two keepers (20 then), 19 have scored so far :)
Well I haven't updated for a bit, so a quick overview of the last three very successful days for Feeder AFC
Friday:
Wiberg United FC 0 - 9 Feeder AFC
A club record away win at lowly Danish team Wiberg, featuring a hat trick from Arljind Andreoli, to continue Feeder's 100% league record. The down side is a broken leg for top scoring midfielder Marius Panzaru, which could leave him out for 20 days. The club have stated that they will try to get a specialist in before the crucial 2nd leg cup tie tomorrow
Feeder AFC 4 - 2 inkypoolutd fc
Feeder avenge their only CL defeat against the other English team in the group to finish top
Saturday:
Feeder AFC 2 - 0 RAVENS FC (agg: 2 - 1
A close run thing, but Feeder get through a tough tie against the best team they have ever played. Despite giving away 3 points in quality (29 v 32), the home team start well and open the scoring after 27 minutes. A great through pass from Andreoli puts star youngster James Watson in on goal and he slides home for the lead. Then, with half time approaching, Andreoli unleashes a pile driver from distance and Feeder are ahead on aggregate. After the break RAVENS increase the pressure, so after 67 minutes Feeder drop their attacking style in favour of a more balanced approach. Despite some scares, they avoid conceding the goal that would put them out and at the final whistle scenes of jubilation engulf the stadium
Feeder AFC 5 - 0 Guiseppe FC
The fans are going nowhere as, just 20 minutes later, 1st plays 3rd in a crunch league match. The home side, featuring 10 changes from the previous game, dominate from the first whistle - scoring after 6 minutes and rattling in a further four to leave their Italian opponents floored. This time it's Russian striker Vitaly Puzin who takes home the match ball
Sunday:
Black Diamonds 1 - 4 Feeder AFC
Feeder face Italian opposition again, with the league leaders travelling to their closest rivals. A first minute goal starts the ball rolling and despite conceding an equaliser, an easy win takes the team 6 points clear at the top
Fire Monkeys 1 - 3 Feeder AFC
A comfortable away win in the first leg of the CL round of 16 against their French opponents should see Feeder into the QF
A great weekend for Feeder, seeing good progress in all competitions. Two new signings have also been added, a GK with one on one SA and a ML/AML with shadow striker. We're top of the league, the best team left in the CL and the cup draw means we would avoid the best side (Level 5, Q33) until the final - assuming we can get that far. The fans are starting to get excited at the prospect of a treble, but a lot could happen between now and the end of the season!
It's been great fun so far though, good luck to everyone else on this forum for their upcoming matches :-)
1st time lead the league after inconsistent form by top 4
fenerbahce 2-5 July Fourth League Round 14
fenerbahce 96.4 4-4-2 Classic - July Fourth 108.0 3N-1-3W-1-2
We had an early KO time here away at bottom side fenerbahce and we expected all 3 points here and Mensah broke clear of the fenerbahce defence to put us into the lead in the 2nd minute, however fenerbahce were in the game for most part of it and had their fair share of chances and got a equaliser almost immediately in the 9th minute through a corner kick with Pungpoh with a header they almost took the lead on 15 minutes with Pungpoh this time putting it wide. fenerbahce continued to threaten and eventually Miku on the counter attack put us back infront with a shot that hit the underneath of the bar. Michu a minute later made it 3-1 after getting in behid his marker to stick it past the keeper. Papaleo should of made it 4-1 just befoe half-time but put it over the bar.
In the second half fenerbahce got a free kick and then Fernandes de Paula found the top corner to put fenerbahce back in the game, again like last nights CL match @ 3-2, we needed to bring on some substitutes and freshen things up again, Papaleo's claim for a penalty was denied and Mensah blashed the free kick wide, Tony Adams then won an important tackle from Norinho that would of put him on goal for a certain 3-3, but eventually our subs paid off again and a Michu corner found Rocky running into the box to smash it in for 4-2 and there was a late strike from L.McNamara to seal the deal after it went in after it bounced off the keeper.
It was a close interesting battle rather than a expected easy win.
Goals: Mensah (2) Pungpoh (9) Miku (29) Michu (30) Fernandes de Paula (47) Rocastle (70) McNamara (85) MOTM: Michu. (AGAIN!!!)
The T11 CUP - Draws: Balkan Boyz face English team "Villa" in the Quarter-finals.
____________________***______________________
http://i35.tinypic.com/1624fup.png
The quarter-final match-ups for this season’s T11 were determined yesterday at a draw held at Topeleven Headquarters where it was decided that Balkan Boyz will face the english side "Villa" in the next round of the European competition. The other results of the draw are as follows: Madrid FC - Hypool FC, Buca FC - Dynamo Swag and AlZaeem FC- Orchard Utd.
Manager -Ljepoje- said earlier today that they "are seriously preparing for a very difficult game against Villa",since they tend to play on counterformations then having a game of their own. -Ljepoje- continued, "It is important for both teams, whenever you play for progression to a semi-final it’s a crucial one for both teams. All these games are intense, hard and sometimes tend to end with unexpected results.” But he added, “all I ask from my players is that they give 100% out there on the pitch. We have plenty of respect for them, as we do for any other team. Respect – but not fear. We know it’ll be a difficult game, but we aren’t afraid.”
The first leg of the quarter-final will take place at the "Balkan Boyz" stadium tonight at 23.18CET, with the second leg at "Villans" scheduled for Wednesday at 13.24CET. If Balkan Boyz makes it past Villa, they will be playing the semi-finals against the winner between AlZaeem FC and Orchard Utd.
League, round 14 - Hurycan Speed FC 0-8 Perfect Tactics
Hurycan Speed FC: 35.9, 4-5-1 flat
Perfect Tactics: 52.0, 3-5-2 v (60' 3-3-2-2)
Just like July Fouth, we had an early kick off for our league game today. Our players must have not liked the early kick off because we were not up for this match in the first half. Hurycan FC's defenders were playing like 8* defenders as we couldn't find a way through. Eastgate and Hardy giving away free kicks but both were wasted. We did take the lead from a corner kick, Petersen's cross finding Nascimento who headed into the goal. Eastgate made it 2-0 before half time, a timed pass from Mata giving him an empty net to score from. After a slight tweak to the tactics, the floodgates opened in the 2nd half. Petersen's long range strike making it 3-0 before Suarez's solo effort put us 4-0 up. We were awarded a penalty when Hardy was brought down in the box and Petersen got his 2nd goal of the game from the penalty spot. Blomqvist added another to the game and then it was 7-0, Miranda coming on for Suarez and providing the pass for Nascimento's 2nd goal of the game. Mata made it 8-0 from a counter attack and this is a scoreline that reflects our true power.
Now we are 7 points clear, 2nd place will play 3rd place and we are hoping for a draw or an away win. Guedes FC has 2 suspensions today so I'm hoping they lose to Blue Whales as it will make our season a whole lot easier.
Goals: Nascimento (34', 73'), Eastgate (41'), Petersen (50', 62' PEN), Suarez (58'), Blomqvist (65'), Mata (77')
MOTM: Petersen
And it's back to sleep lol.
In addition. This guy seems to like play tricks: He seems to favour the 3W-2N-2-2W-1 and the 4-5-1V formations, but tend to switch during the game and play on counter-formations. Hi has currently 3 players out of position, a DC/DR playing GK, DC playing DR and a AMC/AMR playing in AML position. His team are stacked with scouts+SA, so it will be a difficult one, especially since he managed to eliminate the Qatari team (stacked with superstars and legends) from last round...
